Should I upgrade from an R9 390 to 1070 for 1080p gayman
Should I upgrade from an R9 390 to 1070 for 1080p gayman
144hz only you imbecile.
1080p can be achieved with much less though right?
Pretty much the same performance, wait a gen.
>1080p
nah dawg
I had the same dilema until I realised that my card can still handle games fine 1080p, I wouldn't upgrade unless you were going to 1440p or 144hz
otherwise it's a bit pointless
To play what? Wait until next cards for 4k, 1080 can barely reach 40fps at 4k
R9 390 should keep you satisfied for a few more years. unless you're one of those autistic 4k/144fps faggots.
are the 460 and 470 also coming out on the 29?
Should I upgrade from a 660ti to a 970 or 1070 for 1080p/60fps?
good luck finding one in the next 4 months
Gonna use your thread to ask about something similar.
I'm poor as fuck. Can a R7750 hold modern game on medium or at least low?
Do you think it will support DX12?
Sure 1070 is the way to go. You will be safe for 2 years and later you might try a better monitor.
>r9 390
You're still fine.
my 560 ti can play modern games on low, that doesn't mean I should.
you should try 144hz
feels good man
at 144hz? no
no, you eejit.
wait for next years cards at least jesus christ
390 is still fine for everything in 1080. So I guess it depends on your monitor. I would wait one generation, as 39+ is quite a new card still.
1070 just for the future proofing
I'm considering it for my upgrade for the same reason
I'd rather wait for the polaris amd cards. 480 is rumoured to be the perfect price/performance card.
do you think bf1 will run on an amd 1100t?
haven't really played vidya in about two years and feel like sinking a few hundred hours in a mp shooter again but don't think it would be reasonable to build a new pc for one game, would probably upgrade my graphics card from hd6970 to r9 380 or something like that.
Good luck finding one in stock.
yes
Hell no
>want to order a 1070
>in Canada
>0 stock anywhere
