Roller Coaster Tycoon World. I bought it to try out the beta weekend. It was mediocre at best but I somehow forgot to refund it and got stuck with it.

Fixed to be still the worst X game.
That's still some serious buyers remorse right there.

Go into it expecting more movement freedom like Prototype or Saints Row IV and you'll be annoyed at how little you can stay in the air.

It felt a bit old school 3d, for whatever reason I loved it and got all the trophies in a single weekend

and i loved x3, egosoft is lucky this came out before steam refunds

Game feels great and has wonderfully smooth combat and platforming, but it bored me to death.

I played X3 and I played Space Trader.
And Space Trader was pretty good.
X Rebirth sounds and looks like absolute shit even if you could "fix" it, by which anyone can only assume it's referring to optimisation and bug fixes.

I mean, you're right. The combat is shite. It's just that pretty much everything else was really charming. The world is interesting and the gravity mechanics are actually fun, if a bit wonky at first.

Does it get better past mission 2 or is it just not worth playing?

Got if for "FREE" along with Deadpool, when I bought my PS4. Still haven't played it.

Still working on it. It's okay enough that I'll be able to finish it but probably won't bother with the challenges and the like.

It was definitely streamlined for a console audience, but Egosoft did listen to the community and changed everything they could. Give it a shot at least. If you pirate it, just be sure to get post-4.0/Home of Light expansion.

It worked fine and the gameplay was okay. I save the "bad" label for games that have serious gameplay or technical issues.

Excluding the price Corolla is worse on all levels to a 7-Series BMW but as long as it mechanically works I wouldn't say it's a bad car.

tbqh, I had fun killing hunters in whatever mission they were in but other than that, any mission with human opponents or any other kind of special zombie is just pure suck

They made it mildly playable. The problem is they fundamentally changed the game too much. There's barely anything there compared to other x games and their shift to focus more on a campaign and quests was all for nothing because their writing is just as bad as ever.

The best part was the whiteboard where I literally wrote "This game sucks".

At least they started to backpedal on resistances and shit, but I've pretty much lost hope too,
