I call it "Bold and Brash"...
I call it "Bold and Brash"
I have a rash
More like "It's going to crash!"
More like "Give me more cash"
>special edition
What happened to legendary edition?
Didn't it make enough cash?
No amount of money is enough for Kikethesda
Ha
it's for special people
Kek
Wait what? What's the difference between the legendary edition and the special one??
They literally price hiked it back to 40 on PC because of the whole Free Special Edition for Previous owners. But it's essentially Obsolete as far as Bethesda is concerned as they added support for their shitty bethesda.net mod database so consoles can continue to be cucked when older mods never ever get ported to PS4/Xbox
Legendary is the original game on the original engine with all DLC. Special edition is an upgraded engine (DX11 support, FO4 graphical features) with better default lighting, textures, etc, and better performance compared to mods for the older games that would give the same improvements.
...
You been living under a rock? Skyrim's getting remastered.
>better textures
You sure? All of the screenshot comparisons I've seen show no difference between the textures in the old and new version. At best, it looks as if they've implemented that high-res texture dlc by default.
I'm going to buy it because of the new mod support for consoles, what an innovative new feature.
What about you guys?
Why are they doing this. What the fuck.
Those who have the legendary edition apparently are already getting the remaster for free.
But still.
What the fuck.
WHY NOT ADD MORE DLCS OR SOMETHING.
I'm just excited for what modders will do with x64 support
I hope modders won't support this fucking travesty to begin with.
>hey todd
>what do you wan't from me pete, another casual feature for TES 6?
>better
>lets make skyrim ps4 and xbox one edition
>b-but pete, why
>for mon, i mean MODS
>ok then...
Get annoyed, probably. They're pretty much done with Skyrim.
Whatever happened to Enderal, or whatever it was called?
This is just sad.
Fuck it's depressing.
This reminds me of HL2 fernsworth edition.
The only thing.
The ONLY thing I care about with this remaster:
Will there be VR support? I need to know. For reasons.
If there isn't, what is the actual fucking point of it? I mean, I know it can probably be modded in. But why not add it straight up and make that an extra selling point?
Coming out in July, Germany first then US after two weeks.
Its due about next week I think, but you never know.
Homepage says:
>"English version some weeks later"
Where did you get that two weeks? Don't get me wrong. That would be brilliant! Have been waiting for this thing since it was announced.
I for one think it's a great choice.
You should too.
But Todd i got all the dlc for $10...
You're not getting any cash!
You don't really want new stuff, user. You want the great classics from the past but with modern graphics. That's what the professional team and Bethesda is giving you.
I've only just heard of Enderal today. Is like a whole new country added or what?
If only they did this with Morrowind and Oblivion.
It's a total overhaul mod, which means it's a completely new game on its own. Skyrim is no involved, neither any part of Tamriel as it takes place to a world SureAI has created.
>"remastered."
They're hopping on the "remastered" train and didnt want PC to feel left out even tho one can already mod it to a "remastered" state
So yeh
Todd also confirmed that TES6 is in fact in the works
Its Skyrim, I wouldn't be surprised if it sold more week 1 than Skyrim did originally in its first week.
Holy fuck. That's insane.
Damn.
After FO4, I'm not feeling real hopeful about the game honestly but I'm still gonna get it anyway regardless.
I heard the Remastered Edition was going to help keep the modding scene alive for another 5-6 years what with the increased specs. But here you spergs are complaining about it. Did I hear wrong?
Why would it? What else can they mod for Skyrim? All it is just pretty graphics added.
They haven't really added much.
What else can modders do that they haven't done already since the years skyrim has been released?
Bethesda is getting too reliant on modders. They need to stop that.
>pete
>coming up with ideas
Would it be possible to "port over" mods from regular Skyrim to the new version?
Requiem
It sounds pretty overwhelming, but everything is in a much smaller scale. Quoting SureAI though:
>"While the game world of Enderal is smaller than Skyrim´s and the quests are fewer, we believe that the depth of our story and the complexity of our characters both surpass those in recent Elder Scrolls games."
Yes. That sounds fucking good to me.
While waiting for the English version, unless you're a nazi swein, check out their previous project Nehrim which is a total overhaul mod for Oblivion.
Makes me mad as fuck. They don't need to cater to people who don't like these sorts of games. All they ever do is alienate their normal customers.
Oh man, this is fucking neat. Too I can't seem to mod oblivion for shit and keeps crashing no matter what even though I follow directions to the T. Oh well.
>They don't need to cater to people who don't like these sorts of games
say that to my 12 million sales, not online, see what happens fag.
Panting Todd made my weewee feel funny
Nothing to worry about. Nehrim installs itself in its own directory and has its own launcher, so as far as I can remember, you don't have to touch Oblivion file at any point.
I'm pretty sure Fallout 4 sold worse than Skyrim, so your efforts clearly failed. Yes yes, Skyrim is casualized shit, but not as badly casualized as Fallout 4 was.
Nehrim had some pretty incredible moments. Like the dwarven elevator fall. And the prison under the sea.
Didn't like walking around with that weird godlike elf guy, though. Pretty sure he accidentally killed me a few times with his mega lightning blasts.
Thank you!
