Only if you're a scrub. I'd say osu probably has the most daunting learning curve of any rhythm game I've played, mostly cause of how much precision that's required in the more difficult maps.

Nah, not really. Having only one input instead of needing to alternate between 4-8 makes it casual as fuck. Precision comes with practice and with time you just start moving the cursor without realizing.
Whatever-mania games, on the other hand, are real tough shit.
