I played Transistor and I was wondering if theres any other good cyber punk games?

I remember in SWTOR Nar Shadaa looked so fucking cool and then I realized it was cyber punk

a) no one can write for shit
b) no one can develop for shit
c) publishers won't take risks
d) we aren't allowed to have nice things

Hard Reset actually had great presentation and art direction but unfortunately the Exile chapter decided to drop it and go with generic Terminator/Matrix shit.

I'm looking forward to this. Really digging the aesthetic and the music, which honestly is what matters for me on cyberpunk vidya.

Playing through system shock 2. The amount of depth in this game is awesome. Though I find its more horror than cyberpunk.

In System Shock 1 it is. The player is the hacker, a fat hobo who built the ultimate AI and only himself could shut him off when it went crazy.
Still, both System Shock games it's more about the setting than anything. Also SS2 has a lot of body horror, so it fits in the same category as Akira: "Cyberpunk-ish, i guess"

Am reading Neuromancer amongst other things, writing paragraphs and paragraphs of my own analysis notes as I improve the general story framework. It's all going really well so far.

It feels more like a parallel projection, so I guess Axonometric would be correct.

I'm pretty sure that's just concepts of who you can be and at the same time concepts to pick from for the trailer. Nothing more, I don't think they're characters that will appear in the game.

I'm definitely not looking to have it be -like- the Neuromancer. I'm more looking for a solid base to build my own Cyberpunk knowledge (ie: I'll read an interesting paragraph and write up a paragraph or three about my take on it AND how different such an element would be within my games setting)-- also exploring what makes the whole high tech, low life dichotomy and how differently it can be spun.

I'll definitely look into more material and continue adding. Thanks :)
