ive never heard of anachronox ill check it out
>Do sex
The story is intriguing. Just be fully aware that it is a little old. Textures can annoy.
there aren't any good cyberpunk games because
a) no one can write for shit
b) no one can develop for shit
c) publishers won't take risks
d) we aren't allowed to have nice things
did you play Transistor
I thought it was great
but yeah it is weird, I would of thought this genre would of been more popular because theres so much room for cool shit
Technobabylon isn't bad to be honest.
Regis did nothing wrong.
One of the main characters is a female that used to be a male. It's far from a main plot point, it's hidden in a dialogue tree, but there you go, in case that triggers you
Going to play through Gemini Rue next.
Prey 2
Cyberpunk themes have been worn out to death, the only thing appealing about the cyberpunk universe is it's aesthetic, atmosphere and overall vibe.
The rest is trench coat levels of edge.
what is this from
underrated, slayed this game all weekend.
Binary domain
Hard reset
shadowrun
Dex, Check it out it's a neat 2D rpg and it's on sale for cheap.
Looking for a cyberpunk game like that movie 'One Point O', any reccs?
This could help you user

The Last Night
>oddtales.net
Reminds me a lot of Deconstructeam, in a good way.
Assuming you're not just rusing, is there any way to support you guys yet?
>do sex
Its Dude Sex Humus Revolution pleb
>no space cyber games
Listening to synth and playing SC is the closest I can get
>using only one joke title
pls
What do you guys think of this?
youtube.com
It looks pretty damn ballin, in my opinion.
>waiting for Cyberpunk 2077
It's suffering.
Truly.
We're not going to see any gameplay before 2018.
Did they patch it? I have it in my Steam library but I heard horror stories.
Hard Reset actually had great presentation and art direction but unfortunately the Exile chapter decided to drop it and go with generic Terminator/Matrix shit.
I'm looking forward to this. Really digging the aesthetic and the music, which honestly is what matters for me on cyberpunk vidya.
It's Hymen Retribution you dumb memer.
>isometric view again
>action action action
Eh.
I'm more interested in hk-devblog.com
If you liked Nar Shaddaa, play KotOR 2, an actually good Star Wars game.
>not Gay Ass Sex Two Man Revolution
Yeah, I'm with you, plus the gameplay is good old twinstick shooter, shouldn't be too hard to fuck it up.
How is that aesthetic style Ruiner uses called, though? It's obviously heavily inspired by Blade Runner but how do you pin that down, "Ridley Scott"?
When did Poles get so based with video games holy shit.
They dont have anything else to do apart from drink, bitch about Russians/communism and make video games.
PERSONAL
Choose one and only one.
I don't care when it's coming out, I just hope it won't suck as much as TW3.
>male
I choose 0.
>that generic female AI voice
Fuck me. Why does every sci fi game have to have that shit? I swear, it's the same fucking person too every single time.
Absolutely fantastic.
You'll be killing yourself then.
First of the last row, except the helmet proportion is too big.
Medieval-like cyberpunk sounds cool.
Middle right.
They all look like shit, like Robocop with out the helm
I guess 3 from the left top row looks most Human, if he can retract those shades like Adam Jensen
ok
Don't be mean ;_;
Has anyone here played the Technomancer yet?
Playing through system shock 2. The amount of depth in this game is awesome. Though I find its more horror than cyberpunk.
>horror
>cyberpunk
Not mutually exclusive.
But it's just not cyberpunk though.
Haven't played it, but I haven't seen anyone saying a single good thing about it either. Apparently everything is shit. Writing, voice-acting and combat all seem terrible.
God damnit guys, we have the same dreking discussion every thread.
Can we please talk about games with Cyberpunk themes instead of throwing
>N-N-NOT CYB-BERPUNK BECAUSE NO RAIN REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
every few replies? Thank you
A generic AI should have a generic voice.
TBQHWYF, I don't really see how "high tech, low life" is explored in System Shock.
Shit taste
>we
No one is talking about rain you mongoloid.
In System Shock 1 it is. The player is the hacker, a fat hobo who built the ultimate AI and only himself could shut him off when it went crazy.
Still, both System Shock games it's more about the setting than anything. Also SS2 has a lot of body horror, so it fits in the same category as Akira: "Cyberpunk-ish, i guess"
Middle row, third column.
I am enjoying but I have to agree. I only played it because I saw it on this list and it was free on gog
You haven't been here for the last 3 cyberpunk threads then. There was a guy who said that x game wasn't cyberpunk because the whole game wasn't set in a rainy dark poluted city.
That sounds like that "Edgy fighting game" copypasta.
First row, third guy.
Are these possible desings for Cyberpunk 2077?
What was that game shown at E3 where you hack into dreams or something like that?
Yeah, I'm checking reviews and everyone's saying it's a 6/10 at best. I guess I'll just pirate it
It has cyberpunk elements, though.
Yours is. TW1 > TW2 > TW3. They fucked up.
They're all shit user.
Yeah, concept artwork they released shortly after the trailer came out.
Wrong thread guys
Yeah, middle row, far right is the guy from the trailer. Meaning the other ones are probably rejected designs.
That's no isometric, family
I love them. I'll draw a high res version of my choise as soon as i have time
How should I call it, then?
...
Observer?
...
VA-11 HALL-A is fucking great if you can read.
I want to be a cute riot police girl, not a dude.
Fuck, I love near-future tacticool shit
Same reason I'm glad CoD went futuristic. I don't even play the damn games but it's a lot of eye candy.
Any news on Barkley 2?
Indeed.
I'm pretty sure that's your companion through the game, like Batou from GitS.
CD Project Rekt said that the game'll be bigger than Witcher 3 while following the same formula, so we can be sure that you'll create the MC.
...
Working on a Cyberpunk Text Adventure.
Am reading Neuromancer amongst other things, writing paragraphs and paragraphs of my own analysis notes as I improve the general story framework. It's all going really well so far.
It feels more like a parallel projection, so I guess Axonometric would be correct.
...
Thx man. Horror + cyberpunk.

What did you guys think of the Detroit Become Human E3 trailer?
It's interesting tho i liked the story about the blonde tomboy from the previous trailer
>I'm pretty sure that's your companion through the game
I'm pretty sure that's just concepts of who you can be and at the same time concepts to pick from for the trailer. Nothing more, I don't think they're characters that will appear in the game.
>What did you guys think of the Detroit Become Human E3 trailer?
Not really into David Cage flicks.
>David Cage
Godspeed, user.
Tho I'd recommend you to consult different books beside the Neuromancer, since it's kinda standard and milked out as fuck on this day and age
I've never played any interactive movie of his so i thought it'd be a good place to start since this one actually appeals to me
>Dex
Pretty good game.
>complains about people talking about rain
>no one in this thread is talking about it
>"oh but the last threads..."
No one cares, no one is bringing it up in this thread other than yourself.
Even by interactive movie standards his shit is subpar.
...
I think they did say those characters will appear in the game, although, who knows. That was a couple of years ago.
>transistor
>cyberpunk
>That was a couple of years ago.
Holy shit.
H-how long have we been waiting for this game?
FINE TASTE
I'm definitely not looking to have it be -like- the Neuromancer. I'm more looking for a solid base to build my own Cyberpunk knowledge (ie: I'll read an interesting paragraph and write up a paragraph or three about my take on it AND how different such an element would be within my games setting)-- also exploring what makes the whole high tech, low life dichotomy and how differently it can be spun.
I'll definitely look into more material and continue adding. Thanks :)
Four years, I think.
