can't believe people eat this shit up

>that mixed feel of thinking of falling for the meme and getting a PS4 for this game

>"le"

I wish from the bottom of my heart for your parents to die an horrible death you cocksucking memeing piece of shit
your mother is a bitch

/thread/

^ This.

10/10 story

le triggered user face

>your mother is a bitch
But does she suck dwarf cock?

This
They dropped the ball hard on this

>not liking bloodborne

Shit taste detected

That's a bold faced lie.

Sometimes you folllow red monster tracks instead.

Poland Shilling Force will defend this.

>Le maymays

>typical Witcher drone deflecting to bloodborne when it wasn't mentioned

>can't believe people eat this shit up
You mean the same five Polacks that make the threads and circlejerk them for the sole purpose of advertising and spreading positive word of mouth? That's shilling.

mfw the only good boss fights where on DLC

That is basically Dark Souls gameplay.

It was shit game. Terrible combat and boring levels

>the entire "find dandelion questline"
I was so fucking bored. I don't give a rats ass about that faggot.

obviously bugged early xbox version where he doesn't leap away and charge at you, wew lad try harder next time - sincerely a CDPR drone

If every enemy in dark souls only had one attack pattern, sure.

Better than Shitter 3

Not really, the enemy AI in Witcher 3 can block your attacks, dodge, counter, flee.
The AI in Dark Souls, welp there's no AI in Dark Souls.

they have little more than one
and it's the main reason I feel bored when playing DS, everything feels so fucking repetitive

There is a more complicated AI in some random dogs in Witcher 3 than the boss fight in Dark Souls.

in 95% of cases all they do is block.

Just another reason to invest in igni I suppose.

I have not played TW3. How viable is it to use environmental and text clues to find targets instead of turning on batvision?

There are entire quests where you follow a sheep around.

That's the level CDPR quest design goes. Sheep Escort Missions. Some dumb Polack actually proved that and thought it would be funny.

or you know

get that heavy charge attack on sword tree

then light charge it all day

This would have been a valid critique had the game been linear and full of corridors

If you use rand right in front of them they'd dodge it, you they blocked your attacks and stun'd you they'd counter, if some wild dogs are too low level they'd flee from you.

>that caretaker
>the following wraith in the manor

yes

I was specced into light attacks so I was shit out of luck vs human opponents. That's why I went with igni to deal with those blocking niggers.

Sometimes you follow flying shit in an open forest.

Good fucking luck.

Remember when CDPR drones said there was no downgrade and it was all "youtube compression"?

Remember when CDPR drones said we should trust CDPR and they're not Ubisoft?

Good times.

There is an entire story mission quest where you have to keep ringing a bell to make a stupid fucking goat follow you. Jesus Christ who approved that quest?

Bloodborne is actually more like Demon's Souls though. It's less linear, bigger, and more contiguous.
Too bad it's an R1 simulator.

Basically both DLCs blow the main game the fuck away

Yeah there was a downgrade. I guess the game is shit now.

Every RPG has some boring quests in between, if you want fast paced actions then play an action game instead.

This is why I stopped playing it.

I like TW3, but I don't get why the open world element is praised so much. It's the exact same shit as any Ubisoft game. Run to the marker on your map, and then do one of several tasks that are repeated across the map. Destroy monster nest, kill mobs surrounding a treasure etc. It's not terrible, but it's the same experience every Assassin's Creed game offers and is in no way as revolutionary or great as people make it out to be.

>Bloodborne is actually more like Demon's Souls though
>less linear

Did you fucking even play demons souls?
Sure you could choose any path out of the 5, but each path was linear as fuck.

There was the greatest downgrade probably ever seen in a videogame and the same CDPR drones that would shit on Ubisoft the moment they downgraded a pixel would defend CDPR to their deaths for pulling the same fucking stunt.

Stop sucking corporate dick because the cock is Polack.

Sic bait

do you get to escort goats is Ass creed ?

thought so

>There was the greatest downgrade probably ever seen in a videogame

Wrong.

The game is shit disregarding the downgrade

kek

You know gaming is dead when you have retards shitting on a game from over a year ago as if it came out last week.

Go back to your 40 Overhyped threads a day faggots.

>obviously bugged

I actually just played the game a couple weeks ago. So many enemies are incredibly easy to beat just by sticking to their side and dodging.

It was actually somewhat disappointing how easy it was to kill some of the 'big' monsters. I honestly had more trouble with wolf packs and specters than with shit like griffins and leshens.

Dork Souls and Witcher are both shit though.

>There was the greatest downgrade probably ever seen in a videogame
Dark Souls 2?

nah

>shitting on Dark Souls
We don't do that here.

I thought it was pretty cool in MGS3 that The End left footprints that you actually had to look at carefully to be able to follow. Also you had to be careful not to cover them up with your own in case you lost the trail and had to backtrack.

Apparently the autist is still butthurt after 14 months

The fuck are you on about? Almost every level in Demon's souls was linear as fuck with a few side routes to find stuff in.

You should though

Yeah we all love this smash R1 to win corporate garbage here!

>Another Bloodborne vs Witcher faggotry
>Meanwhile CDPR and From are having a BBQ party celebrating each other's success

Yeah right, let's me just use this thread to dump some screenshots

>mfw I went after that strange voice even though I knew it was a trap
I just wanted to be a good guy and make sure!!!

if you played it than you know that chorts have an animation where they leap away after hits and charge at you with their horns 3 times. Not saying tthat they are hard just saying the webm is an obvious bug.

Name 3 good action RPGs thn

Fuck, I tried to do that and he just jumped away and charged at me. Maybe had to do something with the mods I have, but I doubt it

>not wearing matching clothes with Ciri

>why isn't my second RPG not like my first RPG?
The thread

...

Anyone else get bored after questing a while in the city? I put the game down for good a little after that pyromancer got her fingernails ripped off. Glad I only pirated it

Ys Origin
Odin Sphere
Castlevania SOTN

>chorts

You mean the one chort in the game?

It's also easy to completely interrupt enemy animations (including counterattacks or escape moves) with crits or setting them on fire. I pretty much broke every leshen fight I ran into because I never allowed them to pull of their shadow teleport. You might say it's a bug but more likely it's just shitty enemy design.

90% of the fun combat in TW3 comes from fighting groups of 'normal' enemies. The DLC bosses are also really good.

Do you knew that you can follow the tracks without the witcher sense right?

Its hard as fuck, but you can, so if you are hardcore do it faggot

>>Meanwhile CDPR and From are having a BBQ party celebrating each other's success
Source?

I got bored during the Bloody Baron quest. Halfway through I was doing some escort shit where I had to protect some baby from evil witches and the gameplay was so clunky and unresponsive I just put it down forever and uninstalled it from Steam. I realized then people were only praising the game because of the story and nothing more.

It's just about impossible unless you feel like adding 50 wasted hours to your gameplay.

There aren't any. Action rpgs are inherently shit.

>B-but it doesn't matter that the combat is shitty and boring!
>B-but it doesn't matter that the """investigative""" sections are mindless filler
>B-but it doesn't matter that in addition to receiving a massive downgrade, they chose the worst things to pare down and made the world look like an oversaturated cartoon!
>B-but it doesn't matter that the overarching storyline is a loosely connected mess that expects you to fill in a lot of the blanks with knowledge of the books and/or headcanon!

I'm convinced everything surrounding this game, and to a lesser extent the franchise and developer, is just a nexus of memes and shitposting. Literally the only consistent defense I hear is that it does sidequests and open world "right," as if having hamfisted """"twists"""" in a handful of questlines that are otherwise identical to generic skyrim-tier fetch quests somehow fixes everything, or because of the developers being "based" on out-of-band concerns like DRM and political agendas which HAVE NOTHING TO FUCKING DO WITH THE GAME ITSELF.

...

Gothic 1
Gothic 2
Mount and Blade: Warband

Or you know what, people like this game because of the gameplay is great and it's fun, like what normal people seek in video games.

You're supposed to quote someone with your greentext, not putting your words in it.
Work on your bait.

Jesus Christ CDrones are getting BTFO

Where is the barbeque pictures of CDPR and From Software? It's a good thing that niche devs have risen from the ashes that big western AAA publishers created when they released unfinished shovelware to the masses.

Seek help.

>witchercuck calling dark souls, one of the few popular games that doesn't hold your hand ''corporate garbage'' when his shitty casualized AAA open world action game has braindead ass creed combat, ass creed vision, and every fucking thing marked on the map

World and Level design are completely different things.
There's nothing remotely like world 5 in any of the DaS games.

>World and Level design are completely different things.

You have my attention. Keep posting.

Look at all that fucking downgrading!

I can't wait to take a sippy quickly.

Not him but he's right and you're retarded.

DeS is much less linear than any any DaS game. There's only 2 points in the game where your progression is barred: 1-1 must be completed before doing any other level and an archdemon must be defeated before progressing to 1-3.
Retards like you think the game is "linear" because each "world" doesn't have some corridor connecting it to another world but it's functionally less linear in that you always have multiple different paths you could be progressing along at pretty much all times.
