Indie games use Denuvo now

>Indie games use Denuvo now
Yeah, the age of piracy is about to end

It really isn't, Denuvo is expensive, and it will be cracked eventually.

Vita just got cracked.

And Nintoddle will never ever ever learn how to protect against piracy for even short periods of time.

Piracy going as strong as ever.

>Denuvo is expensive
Read the OP, artsy indies can afford it now
>and it will be cracked eventually.
You do understand that each game has a unique version of Denuvo right? Cracking one game doesn't automatically makes others cracked
>Irrelevant 5 years old consoles
nah

It has to be worth playing before anyone will want to pirate it in the first place.

>You do understand that each game has a unique version of Denuvo right? Cracking one game doesn't automatically makes others cracked
found the 4chin l33t haxor

This is good, big name AAA games will be cracked on an individual basis due to high demand, and low budget indie games with much higher risk for the devs probably won't, forcing people to actually buy them.

>can't pirate walking sim: underwater edition
wtf, I hate denuvo now

>Can't even shell out 15 bucks for the GOTY and also the very first game of a new studio
kill yourself, you don't deserve nice things anyways.

devs do not pay for denuvo, the publisher does. in this case, it's 505 games. as long as they have cash cows like teraria and payday 2 they can afford to slap denuvo on all their games.

i do think that in the case of a game like adr1ft sticking denuvo on will hinder internet word-of-mouth.

Walking simulators are games where you have to walk between the interesting things.
Here, just like in Journey, "walking" is the interesting part since that's the way you interact with the environment. Your movement is the core mechanic.

Sup Forums likes Subnautica now, so you better stay with the trend if you wanna fit in, new kid

>Piracy going as strong as ever.
No.

>publisher
So OP lied and it's not indie at all?

Indie games are the main thing I pirate. Why would I spend 20+ dollars on a 2 hour game or for a game where there is no demo?

>can't pirate DOOM
>can't pirate Deus Ex
>can't pirate the latest CoD game
>can't even pirate this shit
Feels bad man.

>Game has publisher
>Means it's not indie
It amazes me how Sup Forums doesn't know shit about simplistic things of videogame industry

This is the shillest thing I've ever heard.

That's no meme, that's one of the defining features of it. No two implementations are alike. V2 was only bypassed (not cracked) because of botched crypto that exposed the key generation algo which allowed them to bypass authentication and the unique countermeasures of each game that used that version, this was promptly patched out in future versions.

Since that oversight was corrected no new Denvuo games have been bypassed or cracked and that's because the crackers have to work around each game's specific implementation of Denuvo and doing so is easier said than done.

Game is just a new type of walking simulator. Wouldn't even pirate.

Looks like its time to get a job jew

Are you retarded?

Indie means independent, as in the creator/studio is the one doing the publishing and distributing.

They're not indie if they have a publishing deal.

Just because a studio is small doesnt mean they're indie

There's literally tens of thousands of games that have easy to crack DRM or no DRM at all. You will never run out of games if you really don't want to buy them. Fuck most games on Super Nintendo are better than the shit they put out nowadays.

Are you retarded?

Indie mean independent development not funded by the publisher, not affected by the publisher in financial or any other way

They are indie because 505 or Sony does not own them nor has a contract for multiple titles

Just because games has a publisher doesn't mean they're not indie
