Dragon's Dogma.

Tactics Ogre

Overwatch

>Archery in Dragon's Dogma
>Effective

Literally only useful for grounding fliers.

Mountain Blade
14.4 every days

Grand Kingdom

Mount N' Blade
Skyrim with mods

...

Unless you go Magic Archer and wreck everything with your super archery

two world 2

only good thing about that game

Mount and Blade
Become a horse archer for 10x more butthurt

Resident Evil 5

>Great Gamble
>Tenfold Explosive Arrow
>The entire Magick Archer class
Ye okay

>what do you mean different arrows?

last of us

Try that garbage in BBI and see what comes about.

Bannerlord will never, ever come out.

youtube.com/watch?v=uQvLRDtlUEU

To be fair, Skyrim and Oblivion archery is fun. Even Morrowind is, in it's own special way.

Magick Archer wrecks BBI. It's basically easy mode

...

Shadow of Mordor, mate.

It seemed pretty good in Ni-Oh during the Alpha.

Also there are people who enjoy Bow in Monster Hunter. Those people are crazy, though.

What are you on about?
Magick archer absolutely destroys BBI. So much of it are fairly tight areas where richochet slaughters everything

Oblivion

What's this some Monster Hunter clone?

i hate to say it but far cry 3, senpai

HOW HAS NOBODY MENTIONED CHIVALRY?

OP, if you thought archery in games was lacking, you should really try Chivalry. Getting down the trajectory of the arrows and being able to effectively shoot down the other team is an amazing feeling

Diablo 2

Toukiden, it's good.

Guild Wars 1 (Splinter Barrage in PvE and Interruption Ranger in PvP)

Wii sports resort

nothing even comes close to replicating the real feel of pulling back on a bow and releasing with accurate timing and aim

>effective

>real feel of pulling back on a bow and releasing with accurate timing and aim
>Wii sports resort

You can literally do this in Nioh, whenever the fuck it comes out.
Minus the antelope.

Dark Souls 2

>satisfying

skyrem

Did you play it? Or did you spend your free time posting reaction images to shit you know nothing about?

And if you have played it, have you used a bow in real life to know how it compares?

Dark Messiah

Farcry 3

Gothic 3
at least they did that right

I've played it and yes I've done sports archery for a team building exercise.

There's no fucking resistance or weight with a wiimote, and your finger placement is all kinds of fucked up compared to a real bow. The Vive archery games come a little closer, but the lack of resistance still kills them.

Any other baseless ad hominems you want to throw around?

Now that Ana exists there's no reason to play a useless sniper.

where is this from

That Vive archery game's pretty damn fun tho

Dragon's Nest

Asking questions isn't ad hominem, you autistic idiot.

THAT was ad hominem.

Don't use words you don't understand.

are you daft?

Guild Wars 1

The Far Cry games have good archery.

It's not particularly fun or satisfying but holy fucking shit is it effective.

Mononoke Hime

>backpedalling turning the enemie into a pincushion for 10 minutes with 1000 arrows is 'effective'

Thief. Not in terms of combat maybe, but the bow is super handy and satisfying

Dragon Age Inquisition
Archer Assassin is basically a shortcut through the awful damage sponge combat

>only good thing about that game
>not the awesome magic system

Considering Erdogan is already arresting teachers, soccer players and pretty much anything connected to the West, you might be right.

Ocarina of time

I agree with Skyrim my man but the archery in Oblivion and Morrowind were shit

Wii sports resort

Ranger is literally the strongest class in the entire game

I solo'd matt daimon with Ranger

Holy shit nigger did you even play the game. Do you even know how wrong you are?

Breath of the Wild from the looks of it.

Isn't Artificer better? Let's you crit all the time and reset your cooldowns with crits. Can spam leaping shot endlessly, and hail of arrows decimates every boss in seconds.

skyrim

Team Fortress 2
youtube.com/watch?v=hx-YFFnruDs

Is that the one with the flasks? Fucking hated that, not as effective against regular enemies IIRC
With Assassin, you just go stealth -> hidden blades -> leaping shot into stealth -> full draw -> stealth again infinitely, one-shotting guys every time you do it

messiah of might and magic archery

naming a game that hasnt come out. true nintendroid fashion

this

one of the best things about Skyrim was that they finally fixed the archery

it was terrible in oblivion, and straight up unplayable in morrowind

>calling me a nintendroid because I point out a game that has had a lot of thought put into changing it's archery mechanics, as stated by devs themselves

ok

>from the looks of it
>no idea if it actually feels satisfying
>time freezes so you can take a shot instead of working with momentum

Pick a game that's out

In a short way, a bow run of Fable is cool. It's fun to lop off heads, and if you get to use magic alongside? You get multi-hit arrows and such.

Wow the devs themselves said it?

The Last of Us

Skyward Sword

>Holy shit nigger did you even play the game
where do you think you are?

Ranger was crap in PvE

Nobody but me played it, but Betrayer was the only game that made me feel like I was really firing a bow and arrow. Just a good game all around, really underrated.

No, it's Varric's. You can be permanently stealth with this too, but you crit more often. And hail of arrows focus ability doubles your damage.

For when the wagglin + add-on was actually working properly, it was an ok game. Actually being able to pull back the bow to charge it extremely fast compared to just holding charge was fun.

BattleFeel Fore(skin)

which animu is this from?

princess mononoke?

it really wasn't, you just needed competent teammates

There's no game with satisfying archery because each one treats a bow as one would a high-powered gun. There's no weight, tension, or skill in any of your shots.

Honestly, the only one that comes close to feeling good is TF2's huntsman.

Mountain Blade
>getting a high shot difficulty headshot against a guy
>setting up your archers to blot out the sun

Fuck you I enjoyed it.

epic lol xD

Warframe, some of the best weapons are bows.

It's shame all the effects you could put on weapons were underused. There's the multi-hit spells for both weapons and the augments, but the augments have so few effects beyond specific extra damage. I would have liked to see ones that shot chain lighting or lit their targets on fire depending on the augment.

Still, upgrading bows enough that heads sometimes spin off their bodies was pretty good.

Oh right the guys with the traps, only useful skill is the one with the arrows and that's only on focus
Assassins autocrit coming out of stealth, that's their entire point
If you feel like it, you can trigger mark of death out of stealth as well, giving you x8 damage overall

Tomb Raider

this is actually true, huntsman is great fun. huntsman/jarate on a PL defense or PLR is heaven

Shadow of Mordor
Skyrim
Tomb Raider

How the fuck has nobody said TLOZ series

Someone isn't getting accepted in Warbros
