I played this game blind two days ago and yes.
Anyone who thinks otherwise probably isn't familiar with what makes good game design, not to mention the sound and atmosphere were perfect.
Is it flawless?
>gif
Why?
I have no idea how it happened. I used snipping tool.
In my opinion it is literally flawless, yes. The narrative and tone are perfect, it doesn't overstay it's welcome, the puzzles are thinkers but never challenging enough to impede your progress throughout the experience.
It's just a great game with some insanely good animation and lighting, I would've payed double the price for it easy.
I shit on "narrative games" as much as the next guy but the world building is so fucking stellar I can't even compare it to anything else. It was unlike anything I've played before and I'm gushing like a shill but I mean that.
Its not a masterpiece but it is good, maybe a 8
ending sucked though and it was short, but sweet
I rarely see someone so passionate about a new game on Sup Forums. I'll probably pick it up now but I hope you're not a shill
>I hope you're not a shill
>it is literally flawless
>[...]are perfect
>would've payed double the price for it easy
No its way too boring, its kinda shit. Limbo first 30 minutes were better. Also there is some 2deep4u shit.
I just watched a video on this game and it looked pretty good.
Will I buy it? Maybe, if I have some extra dosh this weekend I will
You got me I'm a total shill for an indie dev on Sup Forums
God forbid someone have really positive things to say about a game on this board, go fuck yourself
it has the biggest flaw
denuvo
>it doesn't overstay it's welcome
holy fuck it does
>IGN
Wow it's fucking nothing. They slap a 9-10 on literally everything.
Don't do it, its not worth it.
It's literally three hours long, are you retarded? Did you play the same game I did because there are at least two complete changes to core gameplay that occur over that small timeframe.
Not really, it's cool and is better than Limbo but it's still just a 2-3 hour puzzle platformer. What I really liked about it was that it was interesting from start to finish, whereas Limbo was basically over when the spider died and you spent the last hour pushing blocks around even though the game was short as fuck.
>I would have paid 40 bucks for 4 hours of content
Still more quality in the content than say, No Mans Sky, and people are paying 60 for that. What's your point?
It is boring hence you want to be done with it as quick as possible.
I'd give it an 8. The puzzles were a bit too easy to the point where they were just annoying since you were only interested in the story anyways and it felt like puzzles were just wasting your time
IGN isn't a a reputable source for scores. They're either paid off or they are pushing a agenda.
>>They slap a 9-10 on literally everything.
on everything thats willing to give a small gift*
positive is fine but acting like yet another 2deep4U game is god like is just asinine. limbo was alright but it was baby's first art game. short and repetitive. as is this stuff, in no way is it bad just more like a sold 7/10 maybe a 6/10 which is still above average but pretending it's not doing something we haven't seen before is just like telling your self a lie.
Please refer me to another game with Inside's level of world building and atmosphere
only retards trust scores from ign
>I haven't played it but here's what your opinion should be
This is Reddit level hive mind bullshit
>you shouldn't have that opinion
what is it, another walking sim?
8 at best
NMS being overpriced has nothing to do with Inside being overpriced too. I could get ten times more content with any other 20$ game.
>quantity = quality
Yeah user and I could play a billion hour Korean grindfest for free but that doesn't make it the better game
>4 hours
> IGN
Stalker
Witcher
Half life
dark souls
system shock 1/2
quake
nice projecting there buddy and good jorb being wrong.
>pot calling the kettle nigger
he can have his but I can't have mine? go fuck your self tumblerina
I said acting like its a god send is stupid. It doesn't push the medium it does nothing new or different, it's literally limbo 2.0, hell it's the same people, they will for ever be stuck in a realm of arts mediocrity.
NOBODY is talking about this game anywhere. You walk left then reach the end and roll left. How this garbage got a 10 is beyond me.
IGN would probably give a literal slice of bread a 10/10 review and call it a video game if you paid them enough.

Inside is great up until the last half hour, at which point the game goes full retard and becomes a sheer comedy.
Opinion void. Its about 4 hours long with several changes to core gameplay in those 4 hours.
I watched a playthrough of it and nah. So many things don't make a lick of sense, so it's hard to get invested in the world building it does.
This
>dude that thing was not trying to drown you it only wanted to give you water breathing powers
>DUDE BLOB LMAO
When did anything that wasn't said dirrectly in your face and let you draw your own interpretation became "2deep4u" and why is it a bad thing
So, is it coming to PS4?
I would prefer to have a Vita one, since I usually play indies there, but it probably can't handle it.
When game thinks that it provokes deep thinking or something, but it does not
Anyone who doesn't mention the absurdist comedic ending is confirmed to have not played the game.
I really hope the developers intended it to be funny. Because if they didn't, then they fucked up harder than almost any other dev on the planet.
gotta admit that game had 9/10 blob mechanics
Pretty god damn sure it was meant to be at least partly funny. The sounds that thing makes and the fact that you juggle boxes over sprinklers is hilarious. The whole game's got this dark comedy vibe to it anyway, you'd have to be an idiot to not pick up on it.

I thought it was great to watch, but it should've been priced at 5.99 (movie rental price) and it's not a 10. It defies rating as a normal game because when rating a game I expect replay value-- this game has zero replay value at all.
I don't think it's valueless, you just can't rate it alongside other games. I think Journey is one of the best games of all time and it defies rating in a similar way. Inside is no Journey though, nowhere close.
>that fucking gate with some kind of a thumping anomaly behind it
Holy shit was that awesome.
>tfw you thought the Mass was headed for the incinerator to end it's suffering
I got a strong Akira vibe from that part.
It's a better Limbo.
and there are no shorter games that get boring in the meantime, right?
Being short is no argument for not being stale.
If you think inside is stale I don't know what to tell you, the mechanics are varied and the game constantly gives you things to explore with your eyes in the foreground and background
