CHIM is console conmands

Elder Scrolls are the game discs

It's just a video game made by a corporation for the sole purpose of making moneg.

Almost like it's a commercial product.

Vivec wrote the game's source code
He was drunk

The Jew empire invaded the white manly-man north Skyrim and attempted to take them slaves like they did with the niggers from Hammerfall while the Asian Hgh Elves are the TRUE superiors by using magic (Asian brains are smart as fuck) to take over skyrim. Also the furries have a couple races made for them that don't play a huge role at all because the Nords were smart and BUILT WALL to keep non-nords out thus Skyrim is super prosperous

The Gods are shaped by peoples beliefs. The Dragon of Time, Akatosh is believed by the Nords to be Alduin, The World Eater. So the dragon is both Akatosh and Alduin and appears as such depending one what the beholder believes.

Talos was a Nord who ascended to godhood by mantling Lorkhan, the dragon god of space. When someones "mantles" a god, they copy that god until they become indistinguishable and thus might as well be the same thing.
Since the Nords believe in Talos and his ascension, this means that Lorkhan is also Talos, or Talos is also Lorkhan depending on how you look at it.

Lorkhan is also known as the Trickster God who convinced the other gods to sacrifice some of their power to create the world. After is was done the other gods decided that they made a mistake and blamed Lorkhan so they killed him and ripped out his heart.
The Heart of Lorkhan was thrown down to the world and fell into the maw of Red Mountain. Lorkhan's dead body became the moons.

The Dwemer, also called Dwarfs by the Giants of Skyrim, found Lorkhan's heart in Red Mountain and experimented on it. The Dwemer believe they are trapped in a fake realm of existence and try to use the power of the Heart to escape this fake reality. The Dwemer live by logic and reason. They also believe that nothing is real and everything is fake.
These experiments backfired and the Dwemer race was removed from existence, becoming the indestructible skin of their Brass God, Numidium.

When Numidium was activated the will of the Dwemer race echoed from it, shouting aloud "Nothing is a real, everything is fake". This coupled with the power of the Brass God caused The Dragon God of Time to doubt its own existence which caused something called a Dragon Break. During a Dragon Break time gets all fucked up and reality warps and history changes.

This is were my absolute pleb knowledge of TES lore ends.

Have you heard of the high elves?

The Elder Scrolls community considers the drunken shitposting of an ex employee to be canon.

Is TES the JRPG of WRPGs?

Yes.

remember when the elder scroll used to be NOT BAD. well, that was almost 15 years ago

None of Kirkbride's lore is relevant to the games anymore.

Neither will the current non-jew'd modding be in the future.

Morrowind was shit for its own reasons too, bud. Worldbuilding was about the only thing it got right.

>the Brass God caused The Dragon God of Time to doubt its own existence
does this mean that Gods can also zero sum?

I don't see why not.

I read this mindfriggin' theory on gamefax the other day that CHIM is console commands!!! how cool!!! I always thought that the world of skyrim was pretty generic medieval fantasy but holy cow maybe its a bit more interesting!!!

To achieve CHIM and not zero sum you have to have a strong sense of self right? A God of a certain aspect has to be pretty certain of what they are

>None of Kirkbride's lore is relevant to the games anymore.
He was actually consulted for some stuff in Skyrim iirc

stop it it hurts too much as a morrowind lorefag
Such great lore wasted on skyrimbabbies.

Wow dude way to be a total elitits prick nobody cares you played some old game so how about you take your bad attitute and get out of this forum hmm?

Or I start to get really rude...>;)

...

I always felt that people were far too vested in theology (and I don't mean anything related to the tangible Daedra) rather than the history of the hundreds of cultures found within the lore.

...

>CHIM = breaking the fourth wall
Leave.

>These experiments backfired and the Dwemer race was removed from existence, becoming the indestructible skin of their Brass God, Numidium.
this sounds like a fairy tale (like most writing found in the game) and i'm always confused when people view it as "fact"

...

They definitely didn't zero sum, since they're would be no record of their existence, and we have dwemer spectres. So they had to go somewhere

if Bethesda didn't dumb down the gameplay and lore there'd be no such bullshit.
Instead we've got people who just think TES is like Skyrim and Oblivion. Straight forward and easy to understand. With dragons and vikings.
I can't wait for an even more generic western RPG that doesn't make use of the exciting lore and settings. I don't see TES: Valenwood letting us climb those trees or TES: Argonia poisoning everyone but Argonians, of which there are dozens of kinds, or TES: Elsweyr letting use choose to play as a feral Khajiit

This is canon.

the fuck is this, specifically

who RP's already happened events?

Dark Elves are jews

The RP WAS the event, in fact. Anyone who talks about Vivec's trial is, perhaps unwittingly, referencing those forum posts. Best of all: both Vivec and Azura were played by MK, so he's RPing with himself in that image.

lol more like aryan race you stupid.
jews are argonians.

>both Vivec and Azura were played by MK, so he's RPing with himself in that image.

Just came to post this.
>even a pawn becomes a queen, but neither figure become players.
Is this kind of analogy.

What
Where is this?

You can see an edited for readability transcript of it at TIL: www.imperial-library.info/content/trial-vivec

I'm pretty sure archives still exist of the original threads somewhere out there.

It's because all the pseudo intellectuals on the Lore forums follow the pseudo intellectualism of MK, and try to make it "2deep4u".

>muh Sermons

It's worse than Levine with Bioshock Infinite

Did somehow already found about what will be the TES 6?
I remember reading out there that you could foreseen the events in oblivion in the books in morrowind and the skyrim events in the oblivion books.

how is skyrim babby formed?

MK confirmed hack. I'm glad somebody saved this

>Redpill

Why does any thing complicated and intricate become "pseudo intellectualism" and "2deep4u"?

Can't we just like things unique and have fun?

>It's worse than Levine with Bioshock Infinite
Levine said he liked "things that make [him] feel dumb"
it would be hard to out-hack that imo

Wasn't the trial some kind of passive-agressive revenge against his ex-girlfriend?

Because of pseudo intellectuals

Bad place would not recommend living there I think I caught something from one of the whores.

>Imaging your average high fantasy universe (some gods, some almost gods, some "other" realms, some elves,
orcs, racist humans etc.)
>some shit happens. you as the player get to experience it.
>skip n amount of year
>new shit happens. you get to experience that too (as another hero)
>repeat the previous two steps a few times.
if there is a overarching story. I'm missing it. It's fun though.

Literally a pleb but thats ok, ur alright user.

>average high fantasy

Only on the surface

Well it was much bigger than just Vivec and Azura and the original thread was started by some random fan, but the whole Vivec vs. Azura part of it at the end was pretty fucked up and I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

The version on the Imperial Library cut out and glossed over a decent amount of minor events and dialogue to make it a more focused story. I'm thinking that's a good thing.

Fucking faggot i bet you also think the stars above mundus are distant worlds and that fallout is le prequel to skyrim.

>brotherhood of steel become the dwemer

>ghouls become draugr

>radiation becomes mutations becomes magic

>Deathclaws become dragons

It makes sense to me

The entire TES universe is nothing but a dream.

If you're in tune with the nature of the dream, you can self actualize to achieve lucidity. (CHIM)

Realizing that you're part of the dream, but not having the will power to self actualize will lead to you zero-summing out of the universe.

This is why time in TES can fracture and bend. Nothing is "real" so the world is only bound by the laws that the godhead makes for it.

Powerful figures like Tiber Septim basically attained godhood in the dream, because they were able to self actualize and take control of the reality. Cyrodil was originally a jungle, but was remade into lush woods, because Septim (talos) willed it.

Speaking in a meta sense, this translates to the player being able to break the rules of the universe using cheat codes and mods, because you (the players consciousness) know that the universe is just a game.

>The entire TES universe is nothing but a dream.

stop this meme

You can't just pick and choose the lore you want.

Either the godhead is real, and the universe is a dream, or CHIM doesnt even exist.

They don't make any sense without the other.

Saying its 'nothing but a dream' doesnt do it justice, its the 'dream' of a capital G god. Plenty of retards get confused when you write it like that.

>They don't make any sense without the other.
You're not supposed to make perfect sense of any fantastical element of the lore.
That's the whole point of Elder Scrolls. MK's attempt to resolve the story with his C0DA was another aspect of his retardation.

Sheogorath brutally mutilates a woman and creates music instruments from her body parts.

Gods (and Daedra) cannot achieve CHIM. They are likely aware of it and far more about the world than even someone who has achieved CHIM, but they cannot have it themselves. I'll explain this quickly then explain better in long form afterward.

The Gods and Daedra are not true thinking beings. Think of them like a cog in the machine. The cog can be aware of itself, the machine, and it's place in it. However it is still part of that machine forever.

Now for long form. The Gods and Daedra are the same fucking class of being. The Daedra are just the ones that didn't get tricked by Lorkhan in to investing their being in to the world and retain all their glory. Their places could be swapped and the results indistinguishable. It wouldn't be correct to think of this class of being as a person. They are not true free thinking beings. They are forever bound by the framework of the concepts they represent. Even if they are aware of reality as a falsehood, it doesn't matter! Azura can only ever be Azura. The God of Time can only be the God of Time no matter how badly he yearns for something else. These are certainly lofty, and incredibly powerful, positions. They can't think outside them though.

It's the major reason why Daedra are so utterly hyped over observing mortals. Why would insane godlings that can make literally anything in their own bubble worlds care about mortals? Mortals have no purpose. No framework. They aren't cogs in the machine. They can become anything. Most never do and lack the ability to change their base nature, but the potential is there. Nothing is stopping a given mortal from becoming what they want in life except themselves and other mortals.

Even so, becoming the skin is only a MAYBE. It's one of the great mysteries of the setting. Maybe they became the Brass God. Maybe they were simply sucked out in to another existence somewhere else. Maybe they achieved their goal and simply returned to the state of being primordial spirits with no shape or form (which probably means they would lack the sapience to appreciate it, but they might not have thought that through. The Thalmor certainly aren't).

Mutara is what Vivec calls his spear and his dick.

Have fun reading references to it and trying to figure out which is which.

Numidium is inevitably going to tip his fedora so hard everything stops existing. The world is like a wheel, Mundus is the center and the spokes are towers. If all the towers are gone then the world is fucked.
Also the moons are Lorkhan's corpse and his heart is powerful and shit.

Fun times!

All you need to know.,

is that a foot coming out of almalexia's hand

She cut off his feet because reasons

>If all the towers are gone then the world is fucked.
Most are already gone, but the world has already existed past it's expiration date. Rather, this iteration has lived past the usual reset period. Where everything dissolves and reforms in to a new world. Similar yet different.

It's inevitability. As inevitable as death. Thalmor will get what they want even if it's not by their hand. To return to spirit and idea thus 'opting out' of mortality.

>Also the moons are Lorkhan's corpse
This has come up in this thread before. The concept bares explaining.

All the celestial bodies, baring the sun and stars, are the cosmic bodies of SOMETHING. They look round because mortals can't process they are LOOKING IN TO ANOTHER PLANE. So the whole thing just looks like a round planet or moon.

The sun and stars are different. Magnus (Yes, "god of magic" Magnus) made a hole in reality fleeing from Mundus. He didn't approve of the idea of a mortal plane of existence once he realized Lorkhan was pulling some great big BS. He fled to Aeitherus and the hole he made doing so is the fucking son. That is the raw energy of Aethierus pouring out. The stars are smaller spirits that followed him and made much less impressive holes.

Funny thing is, everyone worships him as if he did anything. His contribution (the sun and magic existing for mortals) wasn't intended. He just wanted to get the fuck out. He doesn't even do anything in the setting except exist as a name.

ahhaha i lold, thanks

does 'go 'za exist in 'der 'lls lore?

Does 'ec ever eat a 'go 'za?

The setting is not politically correct at all. Highest IQ races races are most successful in arts magic industry, high elf, dark elf, imperial. Nords are snow niggers. Cat races are legit meowjews. Lizard people are cool as fuck and unrepresented in the games sadly besides a book about argonian maid.

Here's the only thing you need to understand the elder scrolls lore. CHIMBUCHA

Elder Scrolls Lore in 5 words: IT WAS ALL A DREAM

Wood elves, like your friend Fargoth there are extremist dendrophiles.
>The Green Pact, also known as the Treaty of Frond and Leaf,[1] is a strict code upheld by many of the Bosmer of Valenwood.[2]
>It is said to have guided their existence since the beginning of the "great story". Its rules are clear. Do not harm the forests of Valenwood. Do not eat anything made from plant life.
>Eat only meat. When enemies are conquered, their meat must be eaten, not left to rot. Do not kill wastefully. Do not take on the shape of beasts.[3]
Green Pact Bosmer are said to attack any who would harm the forest in which they live, which they call the Green.[4] However, they usually don't mind other races cutting trees down (most notably in the case of Vinedusk Rangers and Wood Orcs in their respective territories), and are known to buy wood from them.[5][6][7] The cannibalistic "Meat Mandate" of the Pact sets them apart religiously from other cultures. The requirement to eat fallen enemies before three days pass is perhaps the most shocking part of the Pact to outsiders.[2][8
