I know Sup Forums really doesn't like this game, but I felt like Asgore was a perfect example of how to make a sympathetic boss.

Yeah but that decision causes him to act wrongly throughout the rest of the game, whereas Konrad only did what he could to help before he died. "Wrong" is a strong word, but you're certainly meant to feel like you've done wrong.

Metro did this. Fuck i worked hard to get the good ending in 1 and then it gives me the "lol you were a bad person" premise at a start.

Also, checking out the strippers at the strip club and drinking at the bar makes you a monster so you get the bad ending in 2. Bullshit.

Keeping the population down is one thing, but locking your own daughter in a box and then throwing that box away which will probably kill her by suffocation/starvation is pretty irredeemable.
