'fuckton' is arguable, specially considering they're mostly 'moe VN variant #182'. both the PSV and the 3DS are shit but worth the money if you can get used ones for cheap.

they're basically updated version of their predecessors- with the 3DS you get the entire DS library in all its glory plus the half-assed 3DS library, and emulators/VC.

hopefully same with the Vita in the coming weeks.

Someone ported RPGMaker to Vita, and you can run RPGMaker games off of it (like Yume Nikki and OFF).

My vita just came in the mail, it's a slim, and it's used. There's already a playstation account linked with it, 'cause whenever I try to sign into my account it says it has to be that one. I know you can change it If I buy a memory card, but is there no way to have the slim itself, no memory card or anything, under my account?

I love my vita, though I completely blame Sony for fucking over the handheld so much. I still play it every night in bed. Best Purchase I've ever made.

I'm actually playing it for a review for the PC version. I'm not too familiar with dungeon crawlers even though I own three. If you've played Demon Gaze or Chaos Abyss and liked them, you'll most likely enjoy Raygigant as well. The artwork is really good and is the main thing that attracted me to it

Are there any REALLY good Vita exclusives? I mean stuff that isn't on the PS4 and PC, because those two are already my main platforms, and my N3DS is just gathering dust. The main games I wanna play are P4G, Dragon's Crown and Muramasa Rebirth and probably some other weeb shit. Is it worth it for those 3 games? Which is the best model?

has anyone experienced their games becoming corrupted or locking up?
I had danganronpa 2 and shinovi versus lock up multiple times on me, after the database rebuild and turning the vita off then on again a few times it seemed to partially fix the problem but it still seems to be there in the form of on SV that the voice clips are missing.

I had a 16gb card and had upgraded to a 64gb card because the majority of my games are digital since the prices for australian physical games is ass, also it should be noted that i copied the contents of my smaller card to my pc then to my larger card.

Any help making sense of this would be appreciated.

CPS1 beat em ups, street fighter alpha 3, megaman battle network, pokemon crystal, kirby gameboy games(going to play through all the kirbys in release order.) I tried out a few games like quake 1 as well just for the novelty of playing them on the vita.

Is the 2000 screen really that bad? Looking at comparison pictures online is pretty hard to tell. One of my main gripes with my 3DS is that the screen isn't that great, specially the resolution, so I don't really want to buy another handheld with a terrible screen. Apart from the screen, everything else looks improved on the 2000 model.

No it's not. I mean, it's perceptible that the screen is better on the 1000, but your eyes aren't going to fall for using the 2000.

It's not as bad as people make it. Cameras also pick up the OLED and LCD screen differently than seeing it in person too so it's something you need to see in person to properly compare. OLED is better, but LCD is fine but nothing special.

Yeah it's not quite perfect a few consoles still have to be emulated through the old psp emulators to get the best performance but theres not much reason to get a psp as a mobile emulator anymore.

Photos cannot capture the differences between 1000 OLED and 2000 LCD. Depending on which white balance you use, one will appear blue or one will appear piss yellow. I own a Japanese 2000 and the screen is not yellow, not one bit. In fact it's stupidly bright at night. Comparison pictures are just used to shit post here. Go to a Gamestop and see for yourself.

HENkaku. The vita hacks people are talking about in this thread. It's a soft hack that you install to your vita through a website that goes away when you start the system the app it installs lets you install homebrew vita apps, browse the filesystem and ftp stuff to and from it.

My only question is: can HENkaku get your PSN account suspended?
I'm a buyfag, but I don't want to lose my 1s and 0s due to wanting to play Quake on a handheld.

Sony recently updated their TOS to say don't use homebrew which is confusing since they could already ban people for it but so far no one has been banned from psn for using homebrew and in the past it's only been for hacking in online games and pirating games.

They've updated the ToS to say that any homebrew or modifying of gamefiles could result in a PSN ban. Don't think anyone has been banned yet but it'd be foolish to think that an updated ToS happening within a day or two of a new hack wasn't related.
