Best game you ever experienced

In all honesty this is a magnum opus of video games
pinnacle of Sony exclusives
Nintendo would be Super Mario Galaxy 2
Microsoft would be Jet Set Radio Future
It's not even the best Uncharted game.
Nice bait thread, phoneposter
Microsoft one would be halo not sure if 1 or 3 but
Sega one would be Sonic2 for Genesis
PC one is probably WoW or mount blade
You first
Hahahahah . no
Ageee with you OP. dont listen these fags though they jerk off to anime girls 7/24 their opinions are trash probably shit like bloodborne or dark souls
Uncharted is a terrible series praised by people who hate video games.
I hate SOTC but it is easily the best Sony game.
2 > 4 > 3 > 1
Cool mouth, does it come with dialogue?
Spotted PCuck
If uncharted 4 was pc exclusive all fags here would be discussing daily and say btfo consoles your console would be melt if tried to run this. This is how you make games without boundaries , look animations and shit like that
Not even the best game on PS4
actually I gave it a bit of thought and this is the objectively true list:
Sony: LittleBigPlanet 1
Nintendo: Super Mario Galaxy 2
Microsoft: Jet Set Radio Future
There's really nothing you can do to prove me wrong.
I own a PS3 (modded), toaster tier Prebuilt, modded 3DS, modded wii, and PSP.
Kill yourself you consolewarring nigger.
Sorru nostalgia guy but uc4 is better literally not even up to discuss. Soundtrack, gameplay, level design, story, weapons, animations, graphics,
Only thing you can argue is characters i could give you that chloe and harry was netter then sam nadine shit
This list only applies if you are under7
Ahem.
yeah it could be argued that the uncharted 4 story was weirdly paced if nothing else
but it had it's super cool cliche moments, the final boss was fucking amazing for example
So ? Im discussing about this game no entire uncharted series
true, I moved to PC when I wasn't underage so the games from the objectively true list reflect that
The final boss fight really wasn't that great.
I know it's a troll post, but it would be pretty sad if some teenager thought a 7th/8th gen game was the best.
I thought it was cool even though it was bunch of QTEs
>LBP
Ma nigga'
youtube.com
Learn fucking English
It's not a bad fight by any means, but I'd hardly say it qualifies as "amazing". I thought it was pretty average from a gameplay standpoint.
So much character from a platformer, only party game done really right
difficulty was balanced really well too, but people complain about the jumping physics, probably just horrible at games in general t b h
You are no different then people you mock of.
>le only good games are old ones meme
Exactly man.
The platforming floaty physics gave me and my friends endless fun.
Uncharted's PC port is better than the PS4 version though?
I mean you can just pause, fast forward, or skip through anything you want
I'm saddened I didn't get into this series sooner.
yeah I just liked the fact that they were in a pirate ship fighting with swords, then the irony of the swords being from the pirates who did the same for pretty much the same reason
then the graphics really made it, rafe really looked convincing which made it a really good cinematic moment
If uncharted 4 is the "Best game you ever experienced", than I think you may be a casual.
Or a sonynigger
Uncharted 4 is a pile of shit fuck off you nu v faggot
Tomb raider is better. Hell Alan wake was better. Every game uncharted has gone up against, it has been inferior to the competition. Assassins creed plays better than uncharted 1. Tomb raider better than 3. Ac2 better than uncharted 2. And so on.
Mafia 2 did Uncharted 4 story better and 6 years earlier.
Funny how Uncharted is praised for having such a "good" story when its not even original.
>Tomb Raider is better meme
I can't honestly see anyone thinking this
I'm so sorry for you if that's the best """"game"""" you've ever played
Have you played an of the original TR games? Have you played Rise of the Tomb Raider?
You should do yourself a favor and play Any of the Originals or Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I have played the originals but I don't compare them with the uncharted series, they're not even trying to do the same thing
I have also completed the two latest tomb raider games, which were like uncharted games
I agree.
The first 7 chapters aren't very good.
So I'd say 2 is better.
people say this all the time, I'm pretty confident 90% of them claiming it are Xbox only or PC only. I've had Rise of the Tomb Raider since launch on Xbox One and Uncharted 4 was way more impressive and enjoyable despite its slow start.
>tomb raider is better
Agreed. I was so bored trying to play through uncharted 4 I ended up renting definitive edition and had so much more fun
Im looking forward to rotr's ps4 release.
yeah, I have actually played ALL tomb raider and uncharted games
it's just fucking ridiculous
It's not that I thought Rise of the Tomb raider was bad, or TR2013 was bad, I own both games. The story, characters, visuals, and actual shooting mechanics were just so much tighter in Uncharted 4. Sure there's the upgrade system in RoTR but it's pretty shallow honestly.
>taking this thread seriously
Im starting to believe that you Sup Forumsirgins may be legit retarded
>games without boundaries
What do you mean? Is the game fully open world? Do you not fade to grey and instantly die if you don't do what the game tells you to do, like the previous Uncharteds?
here. Uncharted 4 is an absolute pile of shit and the tomb raider reboot is much better. I havent played rotr yet. Eat shit.
>I havent played rotr yet.
so your opinion is literally worthless, good job
Playstation: The Last of Us
Nintendo: Tales of Symphonia
Microsoft: Gears of War 2
yeah and rotr is shit. Eat shit.
extremememly underaded
Me too
consider yourself lucky, it was one of the games I bought my fucking Xbone for
what the fuck is with the shitty "side quest" system, literally serves no purpose other than to make the game feel open world, which it's not
>hurr durr mein zombie survival shit
> some anime shit
> mountain dew shit
I fucking hate you
>Uncharted 4 was way more impressive and enjoyable despite its slow start.
It literally never starts. There's about 0.5% shooting, 70% movie and 29.5% walking around, talking, shitty scripted climbing sequences and shitty ass puzzles. It is literally the worst 'game' I've played so far in 2016 and it's a Goddamn tragedy that we have faggots like yourself on v now. This board is now a complete joke and toilet.
>TLoU
I can agree with this. It is a toss-up between LBP and this.
>Tales
never played it. maybe.
>Gears 2
Was i the only one who thought all of those games were boring as fuck?
hey man u aright it shuld be 99% shooting
>we have faggots like yourself on v now
Slow your roll kid, I never said it's GOTY or anything like that. I just said it's better than RoTR, which it is.
>picture not related
I disagree. You know you can see in the statistics how much time you spend doing everything right?
Either you are lying or you are just fucking retarded.
I'm sorry sir I think you might have accidentally typed in the wrong URL

man this game is going to bomb so hard, even though it looks fucking comfortable
I mean it is going the LBP route.
I don't think it will bomb that hard.
LBP made tons of money. They are still releasing DLC for it etc.
If they keep making LBP level awesomeness trailers then it should be fine.
>Tfw you would fail levels because you and friends would fuck with each others platforms or drag your friend to death too quick for them to slap you.
Their last 3 games have all been at least decent with LBP1, 2, and Tearaway. I agree that this seems weird and unfocused as hell but maybe it'll surprise.
>Going the LBP route
LBP actually advertised itself as a platformer. I still don't know what the fuck Dreams is about the time other than weird artistic showpieces. There was one webm of a pinapple or some fruit on a table and I just wondered, what the fuck is a person supposed to do with that?
LBP was THE party platformer, this is not going the LBP route
I started with 3.
LBP adverticed itself as the creative platformer since the beginning.
A full year before the game came out my friends and i started planning on shit to build in the game.
The thing about dreams is that it is trying to be all games ever.
It is incredibly ambitious and communicating it is hard because people don't really understand that it is literally any game with this game.
I urge you to watch the official trailers from Media Molecule because the general feeling you get after seeing them is: "So it is going to be all types of games? nah that can't be, i just have no idea what i just watched"
Dreams is trying to be the game engine for artists and simple people
I have seen every single fucking video of dreams, I think you are the dude I mentioned about the umbra ignite talk being fun to watch etc.
play, create and share is where they are common but the execution and theme seem so different
I am no other.
Did you see the Kinda funny guys having MM people over? They said that the engine was approx as powerful as unity, but ofc this is just as it is now.
I could imagine they would scale back on that statement unless we get to see how powerful the scripting tools really are.
As a guy who has played around with Unity myself i would say that is one of the things that unity definetly has over dreams.
But at the same time Unity doesn't have a 3d sculpting system as solid as they have it in Dreams.
Played through Mafia 2 at least 10 times, it's probablymin my top 3 games... I still have no clue who the guy on the left is.
I did watch it
it's going to be some sort of visual scripting, really similar to LBP series, similar to blueprints from Unreal
I also mess with game engines and program a bunch, even working on my own version of the dreams renderer because it's interesting as fuck to me
another big limitation is space, this point cloud shit is going to take a lot of space for anything remotely complex, try downloading that over the internet
I don't believe for a second that it's as powerful as unity, though I don't think that's what even matters
I don't think the point cloud thing should take up that much space?
Why would it?
I'm not actually sure how efficient the primitive based system thingy is because I'm too stupid to understand it well
but regular point cloud shit easily takes a fuckton of space
but that's what I'm casually reading up on
I'm trying to get my sparce voxel octree shit working currently without copy pasting before moving on
basically millions of points need to be stored for high detailed objects
also I mean even 100MBs is a lot to download for a level, I think a lot of levels are going to be divided in multiple dreams
also it's the reason euclideon unlimited detail is being trashed on
>nongame
>nonexclusive in its own gen
>sega scraps
Sounds right
I meant distance field based
Yeah i assumed you were looking at a solution of that type. But you do know that MM isn't doing any of that right?
They just save the actions taken to create the object and then build it in the background really fast.
If you save the result data it will take up way too fuckin much space, but this is much more lenient.
I could imagine them being devided aswell but i think most of the data is ... standard file data like audio and such.
Yeah that shit ... i dunno about that. I was really interested in it 6 years ago, but they still have nothing to show for it, so i just don't give a fuck anymore.
Yeah ofc. There is a lot of maths involved and i think you need some of the really high end geometry books to get anywhere.
That being said they are doing splats which i think is akin to "render as many pixels as i can and get the final result over a couple of frames".
Their evaluator is the big revolution i think for media molecule.
I think you have to watch that umbra thing a couple more times because i really can't tell you how they are doing it.
I do programming but i can't into graphics just yet.
I watch the umbra ignite constantly but I just don't understand it even though he talks about the stuff like it's no biggie
from what I guess it's basically just thinking about the distance field primitives, so basically what you have to store about an object is EVERY edit you make (or every primitive you add or subtract) then the engine has to calculate how all these overlapping or connected primitives affect the point cloud and shit, I can vaguely get the concept but I don't understand it
>They just save the actions taken to create the object and then build it in the background really fast.
If you save the result data it will take up way too fuckin much space, but this is much more lenient.
basically this I guess
...then about storing colors (or textures, kind of), I don't fucking know
but it looks fucking cool and I'm dreaming about making a decent indie game so I want to make a similar engine
oh and I know nothing about graphics programming either, I have survived by copy pasting most stuff and asking to be spoonfed
too much work for one person desu
>Best game you ever experienced
The fact that you didn't say "Best game you've ever PLAYED" is the most disturbing part of this thread.
Yeah they have like 5 guys or so working on that engine.
yeh, all probably wizard tier too, logically I have to decide between unity and unreal and slave on the artist side since that's were I prevail, would be fucking cool to be a jack of all trades though
I hate Naughty dog now, I know a lot of people pull legs by saying TLOU and uncharted are more movies then games, but I keep remembering their exploits with jak and crash and how gameplay intensive they were and realize they'll never go back to that level of gameplay content amount.
I just want them to do some really good platformers again.
>it was one of the games I bought my fucking Xbone for
Luck has nothing to do with it. You're just colossally dumb.
