Parry, dodge, don't fuck up QTEs, rinse and repeat. Also if you are a pussy use healing items.

Abuse the dodge invincibility grames, slide under the boulders and hit his heart with blade mode when he starts recovering health.

I spent fucking hours dying over and over trying to Blade Mode them. God fucking damnit.

Am I the only person who beat Armstrong in one sitting? Sam took me like 10 tries but Armstrong was a piece of piss by comparison due to all the health pickups.

I have never once got the blade mode part where he throws the debris at you. I was forced to just run and slide under them.

I used all my nanopaste against Excelsus and had to do without the rest of the game.
Never got any during the Armstrong fight.

Sam went down like bitch on my second try, strangely enough. First go was one hell of a struggle, though.

I perfected the entire fight except the debris part where you have to chop shit.

It was bullshit and a waste of time after finding out you could just dodge on here. Played it on PC when it first came out and I remember a lot of people complaining about a delay. Never had any trouble until this fucker.

Don't know about anybody else, but
>can't play 3rd person games without inverting the camera
>can't play 1st person games WITH an inverted camera
>blade mode uses 1st person camera controls

I also didn't realise that you could use x and Y along with free aim. I figured if you were using free aim, you had to swipe the stick in the desired direction, and X and Y would just do there own thing. Not sure were I got that from.

Now that i'm thinking about it, I had more trouble with sundowner's barrier than the rocks

I didn't even know there was a dodge until NG+, and I didn't learn how parrying actually worked until Monsoon.

Something was wrong with either my controls or the port before updates because blade mode didnt work for shit. I got use to it for most of the game but the debris got me since I had no idea you could just dodge. Seemed like a qte thing you had to do the way it was presented.

I could take armstrong out easy peasy when he wasnt in debris mode. Only monsoon and sam gave me trouble till I got gud. Damn good fights both of them

When it first came out I got up to the boulders before I realised you could move the camera while doing the zandatsu thing

Wasn't that part bugged or something right at PC release? I got like a split second of time before it killed me.
