The main thing I enjoy that my team gets pissy at me playing Techies then I end up being the reason why we win by delaying the game for our carry and start pushing towers with my red mines when there is downtime.

I stopped playing LoL when I got 70% winrate in 100 matches and then the system was putting afkers and BM people/trolls on my team UNTIL my winrate went to 50%
I stopped playing there

You know, I used to play Dota (2) but transferred to LoL later on mainly because most of the things that I don't like in Dota is more or less gone in LoL (Like no hidden shops and no turn rates) while also giving me things that I like(Like innate abilities and jungle buffs).

But seriously, by the end of the day, both of them are equally OK, it's just a matter of preference that pushes the player on either side.

Had my first game of LOL yesterday after 3 years or so
Tried to quoue with 2 friends,
First time I was dumb enough and didn't realize I had to lock in my champion (the interface changed from the last time I played)
So..6 minute ban
Then we started again, and then a friend said the game is stuck and he can't pick - again, 6 minute ban
Was about to start again, but then friend realizes he need to go
Well fine, let's play me and another friend!

Game started, my turn to ban - ban Yi because I remember he was cancer a few years ago (before they changed him. it seems)
Got flammed by the 3 pubbers that are on my team, and they didn't shut up for the whole game, telling me that I should die IRL and fuck my mother etc etc

I fed horribly because fuck this game, got flammed even more (maybe this one is deserved, I don't care)
Result is 13-13, about 15 minutes in?
We have a team fight - we win, nobody dies - 18-13 to us and we take down second mid tower

They surrender

What the fuck? this is why I don't play MOBAs anymore
Not only did it take 30 minutes to start the game, not only I got paired up with toxic players, the game ended after 20 minutes because the other team lost a single fight?

No one can tell me they have fun playing that shit. Every time (admittedly, not many times) I've followed a match it was always full of rage. Not even the mechanics are fun. It's like they took RTS and ripped everything out which made the genre interesting.

I can only explain the popularity of MOBA with peer pressure.
