Someone must be paying per post/per hour/per day...
you son of a bitch delete this right now!
When will they learn?
So mad. This game is going set records and you cant stop it. Neener neener.

THREE THREADS ON THE FRONT PAGE
HOLY SHIT
#obsessed
>Sony isn't sending copies until after launch
Fixed.
Sup Forums is secretly foaming at the mouth for this game but they will never admit it. Take it all with a grain of salt.
Seriously why Sony and Microsoft allow broken games to be released?
The game has beaten most non-Uncharted 4 games in sales, and that is just in pre-orders. A lot of people are concerned with the leaked footage and the sudden rush by the developers to release a patch.
13 mega milk threads 2 days after E3 and 15 zelda threads daily
lol
Lol I remember that. Nintoddlers saw 1 set of tits and went fucking bonkers over it.
I don't know why you're shitting on a Quality team. Quality is the asshole of every major company in the world. Second department ranked to most likely not have a degree only behind the cleaning team.
>Second department ranked to most likely not have a degree only behind the cleaning team.
Actually the clean team have a responsibility and they do their job contrary to those people in the picture which may not be quality control but worth for shit Sony
Quality is where you have to listen to customer complaints and try to fix things even though you have no fucking clue why things happened. And sometimes you can't know because it really is on the customer's side.
...
JUST
Oh yeah. this is Sonys fault no one is getting review copies.
>it seems you met with an unfortunate fate
you realize this is only because its a game that will make them money, even though its an indie game, it was a big e3 title
this wouldn't happen if the game was an nba or madden game...
But why? Didn't they complete it a month ago? Why didn't they check the game the last time and patch it before sending review copies?
Nope. Quality Assurance is about getting customer feedback, testing stuff and getting OTHER people to fix it.
Literally no qualifications required.
Sony let the masterminds behind Danger Joe 2 judge a game's quality.
Umm yeah, okay.
But what about Nintendo?
>this wouldn't happen if the game was an nba or madden game...
I just improved the picture to trigger you more
>>The most pro-Sony board after NeoGAF
Do we browse the same board?
Why are you implying this is not a pro-Sony board?
You're fucking delusional or new if you think Sup Forums is a pro-sony board
most company's have a post launch patch for there games its the new development Standard
and no im not a sony fan boy im just someone
who knows a little bit about game development
You are a fucking liar if you imply 90% of people here don't shill for Sony either paid or not
...
I didn't forget about Uncharted, Lats of Us and Bloodborne shilling
If journalists were smart they'd refuse to review games that don't allow them to be reviewed before release
it's just a very vocal group. the majority of Sup Forums plays on PCs
I wish we could go back to when this actually was the case, but more importantly when reviewers didn't reviewed the games patched.

But they are getting it one day before launch.
We can't judge these things yet, the pre-launch patch is at least a PRE launch and not a post-launch patch like so many other broken games do. The only people who have the game have an unfinished product the devs never intended the customer to play.
The game has been delayed so many times it's no wonder they rushed it a bit at the end.
Why do so many people want this game to fail? I desperately want them to pull off a miracle and actually save this seemingly piece of junk.
its intentional by the developers.
to patch on consoles costs a lot of money.
most developers wait some time to make a bunch of money and patch later.
patching on pc for example or steam costs nothing in comparison.
digital extremes stated on a warframe devstream that patching the game on xbox costs about 30k dollars and about 15k on ps4 due to the certification process.
thats why consoles get multiple patches later all bundled into one bigger patch.
id imagine though patching for first party titles like with no mans sky which is directly funded by sony is free.
or heavily discounted.
>Why do so many people want this game to fail?
Because we know it's fake hype (i.e paid people or just hipsters indies)
Turned out Opencritic was right. No one was getting the game this week before release and the current timeline is Monday. Some of them told Sony to go fuck themselves and bought copies from Stores breaking street date which means they can have a review up on launch day instead of one of those bullshit "Review in progress"
Also It's currently being debated on Beyond3D but it might be 720P 30FPS on PS4 (And it has the hallmarks of a 720P title like aggressive stairstepping) which is why they are insistent on the Day 1 patch to bump it to 900P.
Personally, I see this as a fuck you to gaming journalists everywhere and I approve of this.
I don't know how the hell do all you faggots turn this into some "oh it's a broken game that's why they aren't sending reviewers a free copy early" bullshit.
Tits are a big deal around these parts.
You don't think all of those threads about #FE were about the gameplay, now do you?
Jesus christ that planet """""surface"""""
>"Review in progress"
>Price Negotiation
the game runs, you can play, save, finish missions, and see endings.
That is all the check mark needed to get a release. What happens in between is up to developers to supervised and patched.
Have a little faith why don't you?
I remember seeing a trailer for the game in 2013 and being hyped as fuck. Sure, they most definitely went all out hyping it later, but it wasn't initially that way - it was genuinely an indie game made by people who wanted to actually make the game they are promising: a fun space adventure sandbox.
>Also It's currently being debated on Beyond3D but it might be 720P 30FPS on PS4 (And it has the hallmarks of a 720P title like aggressive stairstepping) which is why they are insistent on the Day 1 patch to bump it to 900P.
They will need to be 60 fps if they want to stay in the industry
Does that patch fix the pop in?
I saw a couple of streams and there is nothing much it can fix except better textures, pop in and some minor bugs or hollow animals.
what?
those YT links are from 1 to 4 years ago
i don't get what im supposed to be angry at, so they have network downtime. i just do something else, like steam, xbox one or wii u.
im not stuck to sony or anything
its a shit game, not a broken one
Don't buy it, the game obviously sucks.
We all know lot of people will buy it, so use them as an example how retarded your fellow men and women are. And realize there's nothing you can do about it.
But they are playing an unfinished product, I doubt the pre-launch patch will really drastically improve it, but we can't for sure know it won't.
The reviewers who do this should lose all credibility. A reviewer is supposed to give the most informed opinion to the people on whether something is worth the money and reviewing something that the public actually won't be getting (the unfinished game) doesn't help anyone except for the reviewers pretentious attitude to their own profession.
...
journalists = paid whores
Journalists are like dogs, when ever anything moves they begin to bark. ''
Arthur Schopenhauer
Because it is a broken game with tons of critical bugs like sentinel drones being broken and spawning instantly above you along with being able to get stuck on the geometary easily and frequently. And Sony is trying to hide it by waiting till the last moment to give out review copies and have a review available in time for launch day.
For once gaming Journalists grew a spine and went and bought copies from stores breaking street date because Sony's terms meant there was no time to review the game in time for Tuesday launch.
It's confirmed 30FPS on PS4 from the people who have it. No clear 1080P shots direct from console yet to determine resolution but there's visible signs it's not 1080P, especially with how blurry the game is.
Seems like the pop in is a "feature" because whenever it happened in the demo showings they pointed out how the game was now "generating the planet based on math or some shit". Seems like the pop in might actually be supposed to impress us by how "on the fly" it generates the world in front of your eyes....................................................
remember when Sony said every game 1080p60fps?
Reviewers can't review the game in time if they wait for the Day 1 patch either. Which means if it's bad, it's wasted the people's time and money and loses them credibility.
But then I've seen this argument last night. Lotta loyalty for a hired shill.
Wow that would suck as the pop in is really the only thing that annoys me about the game, that and the shitty textures.
>"It's a feature"
>getting started
i wonder what he meant by this now that the dust has settled and people defend this
>buying a game before reading the reviews
The best way for devs to learn to let reviewers do their thing well before launch is by it inflicting their initial sales, not by reviewers whining and throwing a fit.
The problem isn't the devs being fucking terrible (although that is a problem), the problem is the dumb consumer still buying their games after they do this shit. More smart consumers waiting a week to buy it would lead to lower-then-expected launch sales which would warn the devs not to do this again.
Launch figures are the most important ones and they would stop pulling this shit if they saw it impacting those figures.
>don't listen to reviews
>just buy it
problem is user
see, back in the day reviewers got the game about 1 month or so in advance so they could play through the whole thing and write a review in time to print it for whatever magazine they worked for
Hello fellow Jew! It would be a shame if you didn't check em and buy my game
read How dumb do you think I am? I know how things are supposed to be, dude. But that still doesn't mean reviewing the unfinished product is doing ANYONE any good at all cause that could lead to a large-scale misconception based on the unfinished game.
keyword COULD, the game is most likely still shit after the patch
...
So why does this idiot don't release his review?
Why, even with people playing it early, isn't there still 5 billion years minus 10 days of content to explore out there?
>QUACK
Found this screen on neofag. Obvious stairstepping caused by upscaling everywhere. Very likely 720P
Let me guess, there's fucking nothing on top of that island?
Nintendrones spend way more time shit-posting about Sony than they do talking about video games.
See that island?
You can't go there
That's not how the generation in NMS works. It's not generating it as you go, it's per-generated, like using a seed. The pop-in is just because it's console and consoles always have these issues due to shitty hardware.
I bet there's fucking nothing there. Its just an island with nothing on it. Its a lie, its all a lie. What a shit game.
Holy shit
That looks like one of Starbound's shitty random genned monsters that's 3d rendered
>The game has beaten most non-Uncharted 4 games in sales, and that is just in pre-orders
WHAT
I apologize for throwing the "on the fly" in there, I know how it is generated and they seem to think it's an impressive system even though everyone has already experienced it in Minecraft.
I don't think it's neccesarrilly unimpressive, but they seem to imply that if you leave the planet and come back your impact on it will not have been stored.
Is this true? Cause if it is then the entire game is fucking ruined, what fun is there in a world you only observe, but don't impact?
Seriously, when will Sam Lake write his own show?
or a real Max Payne movie
>a sonygger actually went out, got microsoft printed on a shirt and falseflagged in real life
impressive sonyggering.
> pre-launch patch
>his shorts are almost pants!
A publisher cannot check all the bugs, thats the developers job.
Even back then everybody was critical of what they were saying, with the whole 5 billion trillion planets, everything randomized, explore the galaxy, do all the space things they promised
Actually it looks like a nightmare realized
DELETE THIS FUCKING THREAD RIGHT NOW!!!!
That's a sales rep shilling for the Bone at some queue for something back during launch, newfag.
So this whole patch business was just a way of preventing reviews to hit before anyone bought it.
Absolutely disgusting.
I thought the publisher and the company (Microsoft or Sony) must make sure to release quality products on their hardware
Critical, sure, but they weren't lying when they said those things.
It's like if they said "Minecraft is practically endless, no human could ever fully explore even ONE seed and there are endless seeds" they wouldn't lie.
Anyway, I don't want to defend this game anymore, it's probably going to be shit, all I'm saying is the LUST for this to fail is so boring when there's even a minuscule chance this will be a fun space explorer?
Looks like Psyduck with a birth defect
