What do you mean?
OP be real, are you actually retarded?
Preordered the 120$ edition, don't know what you're talking about user
AUG LIVES MATTER
>literal viral marketing on the streets
>everybody talking about it because niggers are mad at the game
>no real marketing
>#cantkillprogress
Are they really going sjw with this? They're really going to swap out the very probable ethical and social problems that would come with genetic and mechanical human enhancement for the contemporary bullshit first world non-problems of today?
The writers are South African and Chinese and they're pissing off SJWs and BLM people at every turn.
I haven't heard about this, what's been going on with it?
>really going sjw with this
It's funny because sjws are also angry with them
You're no better than some average nigger
It means no matter what your side is on the technology advancements are gonna come.
It's going to connect to the first Deus Ex
>gamespot.com
Square are rich as fuck, OP. They can afford to market more than one game.
Why would you do that? By all indications this game will be terrible compared to HR
>Square Enix is throwing this under the bus in favor of Final Fantasy XV aren't they?
Probably because they know FFXV is going to be shit, where Deus Ex will at least be decent.
Why do you get so triggered when you see this shit? Who cares mate
The fact that this reality is an inevitability is a very big part of HR do you play games or just post about them?
>augs dont kill people! people kill people!
>>Why would you do that?
Because I loved the first Deus Ex
Because I loved Human Revolution
Because I want that Jensen statue
Because I'm not poor
Because buying DX and HR for a total of 6$ is basically pirating
Because I wanted to support them
Because I wanted them to make more Deus Ex games
Man, that little girl can't wait for the shit to go down.
Why is John Oliver selling $5 ice cream cones?
>Because I loved Human Revolution
>because I want to support them
Basically this. There are a lot worse games and game companies than MD and Eidos Montreal. At least you can see that they try to pour their souls into their work. But bitches are always going to complain, especially on Sup Forums.
>not selling ice cream cones
>in the current year
I actually enjoy some of his videos on youtube
>Because I'm not poor
$5 is way too much unless it's like 8 scoops high.
I'm literally pirating Doom right now.
Stay mad poorfag
Remember when we all thought HR was shit before it leaked and it turned out to be GOTY?
I can only imagine people trying to pronounce the name
>DUDE SEX
>HA HA HA
Wait.. so you're not a poorfag but you're pirating a game?
>its a FAMAS with bits slapped on it episode
>not jews sex; humus revolution
>you have money, why don't you mindlessly waste it?
And that's why you don't have money
Does that mean any rifle with a long handguard is a FAMAS?
>not learning about the concept of Deus Ex at school
>not knowing about it past the age of 13
Are you american by any chance?
Did you perhaps think I already knew how to pronounce it and that was why I posted that?
So, is Alex Vega going to give closure on Ben Saxon's story?
Who? Whose?
> i spent my money on this thing
>i like this thing
>LOL YOU WATED MONEY
good job
>Did you perhaps think I already knew how to pronounce it
I don't know, that's why I'm asking you.
Isn't it a bit early for americans on the chan?
Did you perhaps think I assumed you were American and didn't know about it, instead of simply finding it really strange to meet someone that thinks the majority of people out there isn't familiar with the concept of Deus Ex Machina?
Ben is the MC from Icarus effect and the fall. The fall ended abruptly. I was quite invested into his story.
Alex Vega teamed up with him in the fall.
Well user?
Is that a FAMAS?
Did some French teens TP the Eiffel Tower?
>7 different reasons
>cherrypicking a single one
>strawmanning out of it
poorfags, when will they learn
I wish, man. Here in Canada it's like, 5 dollars for a drumstick
Italy here, it's usually 2 euro here
3 at best
Find a gun that looks more like that gun than a FAMAS
>No real marketing or hype
>probably have denuvo, so no word of mouth either
its like this game will never have existed.
There's marketing all of the place you idiot.
Stop trying to be ~overly cynical~ like some newfag trying to fit in
try leaving the basement you fat fuck
>including that as a reason
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link
>A
faggot hahahaha you call that an argument? You reply with the letter A and that's it?
>no real marketing
Nice try. Enjoy watching the project you cucks have been working on crash and burn.
Original Deus Ex is a classic for me so I' m always wary.
I expected HR to be shit but it ended up descent. MD seems to be HR 2.0 which isn't entirely good thing as it might get too far away from the original.
Illuminati was barely featured in HR, Purity First was a proxy organization that could have existed without a global conspiracy and the motives of Darrow were personal. The focus was on the aug debate and the same seems to continue with MD.
Jensen coming back as a protagonist was a really bad move. The story becomes even more personal and the conspiracy thriller flies out of the window.
I also seriously doubt that Eidos is brave enough to trust players to figure out anything by themselves so we'll get shitloads of exposition that Jensen as an established protagonist should know already. They might as well replace the VA with Hayter if he is just going around saying "Huh?" and listening codec lectures about Nelson Mandela and bioreactive polymers.
>competition shill trying to smear the name of deus ex.
How much are they paying you user?
Anti-aug movement was a massive part of HR's plot.
>only marketing is around the theme of mechanoracism
>any themes in line with the original full under "oh yeah and we have to do conspiracies I guess lol"
This really is the most god damn boring thing they do, it was bad enough in HR where every single thing was about the human gun control.
Square Enix just knows they can't possibly compete with the GOTY that is inevitably coming to cuck their sales away
Did you even play HR?
>not being excited for both
Don't be that faggot.
I'M AN AUG! I'M AN AUG! I'M AN AUG!
Don't talk shit about my raifu
Yes
I don't think any other game has managed to pull that off here
Not much to get excited over about Human Resources 2 Electric Time Sheets.
Dishonered is a very different game to Deus Ex. They're also months apart.
I bet Eidos is really frustrated that they didn't go with female protagonist. They can't compete. Even if they reveal Jensen to be gay he is still archtypical white space marine.
Besides the black soldiers in the Task Force discriminating Jensen for his augs aren't going to go down well for the intended audiance, especially after the Aug lives matter fiasco.
>aren't going to go down well for the intended audience
And just who is the intended audience?
>same guy is posting this in every Deus Ex thread
How autistic can u be?
Fat man children. Same as every video game.
The people who only played HR and think the original is a text adventure from 1986.
Why else would there be zero reference to the first game in any of the interviews and previews?
>zero reference to the first game
That's blatantly not true, regardless of whether you're referring to HR or MD
Neither of these people are going to be triggered by a black special forces officers being discriminate to Adam for his augs.
They have a bulletproof anti-SJW strategy. Their lead writer is black, so when he writes about "mechanical apartheid" and "aug lives matter" the SJWs can't say SHIT without seeming like bigots and he can make it as ridiculous as he wants to.
>zero reference to the first game
>Bob Page is literally the first thing you see in HR
At least here at Bethesda we make the most iconic games ever created, plus we've got Todd to play a few mean games of basketball; the guy is a dunk champ.
Transhumanism > 90s conspiracies
Sorry men in black, grey aliens, illuminati and all you tinfoil people
And yet none of the ends can have any meaning because the 3 presented in HR all had to be nebulous because they all had to lead to the future in the first game.
Now its even worse because there is ANOTHER game between HR and DX. The game might as well be a spin off. It'll have less shackles tied to it.
It doesn't have to be one or the other. We can enjoy it all as it comes.
>moving goal posts this hard
Nobody was talking about the endings.
Also, you know the Deus Ex reboot by Eidos Montreal is inevitable. It WILL come (and so will I).
I was talking about all the stuff I've seen about MD. All they talk about is Jensen and Aug discrimintion and fill the blanks with hype about maturity, choices and freedom that would make Peter Molyneux blush.
HR couldn't get around the fact that the original is a cult classic so the had to talk about it and to be honest they did a shitty job as the game was considered doomed before the leak. They made it sound as bad as Thi4f.
The themes of the original are not whacky conspiracies, that's just the setting. MD should embrace this part too really.
Should, but won't. HR at least attempted to have some ideas behind it.
MD is just empty hype.
>The themes of the original are not whacky conspiracies
>DUDE THE GOVERNMENT
>DUDE ALIENS LMAO
>DUDE ILLUMINATI XD
How anyone could take DX' story serious is still beyond me.
The conspiracies brought up the scale of action in Deus Ex.
HR feels really mundane with all the corporate espionage, astroturfing and lobbyist crap being too rooted in reality and the final part being seriously rushed and disconnected from rest of the narrative.
Deus Ex doesn't actually have aliens, dude lmao play the game.
I have it preordered because I really liked HR, but I dislike that they continued with Jensen, like they weren't sure if Deus Ex could sell without having that handsome fucker on the front page of marketing.
If Malik and Sarif are dead, Jensen should be as well.
They had large heads, tiny bodies, dark eyes and grey skin. Looked like aliens to me.
I actually forgot what the in-game explanation was for them because it's been so long since I played it. The fact that you feel the need to "correct" somebody on this minor detail shows how much of a deluded fanboy you are.
Sarif isn't dead. He does have a new voice actor, though.
Sarif isn't dead but Malik getting harvested is canon.
Pritchard probably sends some wacky emails and gets killed offscreen by the first boss.
>called "grey"
>shaped after the stereotypical Roswell grey alien
>referred as "alien" in concept art
>literally from Area 51
N-no! They're experiments!
The setting is inherently crazy, there's no point in the prequels pretending it's not. Moreover
>DUDE SUPERHUMANS XD
The Ayy Lmaos were cloned from genetically modified cows.
Whether they were just an experiment, a shock tactic to terrorize the countryside or had real alien dna was up to speculation.
>Malik getting harvested is canon.
Malik is implied to be alive in Black Light
>Probably going to flop
its just the same game with new tilesets
no big deal prob made by a skeleton crew
>Malik getting harvested is canon
Excuse me. I-I think I just need a moment.
>Malik getting harvested is canon
Source or I call bullshit.
>mfw I've already pre-ordered it
>he hasn't preordered both already
There is no source. user says it's canon, so it's gotta be.
>like they weren't sure if Deus Ex could sell without having that handsome fucker on the front page of marketing.
I can understand this considering it's only their second game, can't really take the risk yet considering how easy canadian studios get closed.
>my face when
Preordered it along with Dishonored 2. Got a decent discount for it as well.
