Yeah but the other parts are fairly old and they're still all decent as far as I know. Right now for me my only upgrade is this graphics card, if I was going to upgrade to a new playstation I'd be paying close to the same price as this upgrade for less than half the power.

Say you're playing Battlefield 4 on your PS4 at 900p and it keeps dipping below 60, and you want a constant 60 FPS experience. Why is it that if you lowered your television's output resolution that the PS4 couldn't follow suit and put out a rendering resolution for 720p for a constant 60? I know certain games that have been doing this (Nioh), but it seems like a no brainer for a system feature so you could play games at a constant 60 or 30.

I have a PS4 for exclusives and can't find one single rational reason to upgrade considering the fact that I spend a relatively small amount of my vidya time with it and I still can play those same games just at a lower res just as fine. Spending a lot of money on PC makes at least some sense for me because it's my main driver, but for PS4 it's just not worth it.

If this is true I'll get the 1440p version this year, and upgrade my ps4 to the 4k version in 2018 or 2019 to keep up with the PC.
