Let's talk about this underrated gem

Let's talk about this underrated gem.

Freaking loved the German-inspired town it was set in. Place felt so authentic, and as an adventure game, it was pretty damn solid.

Plus it had the voice of Mario himself, Charles Martinet as this androgynous looking fuck.

...

...

I thought that was Raiden for a moment.

>mfw i got run over by the car my first play through

No, it's Valmont.

I think that was my second playthrough. First was either the one with that faggot Hugo touching his old self, or the old dude Eckhart beating his ass.

...

...

STILL CAN'T FIND A WORKING TORRENT FOR THE PC VERSION FUCK

I hear the PC version isn't all that good given how long ago it was made. You're better of just emulating the PS2 version.

And only the PS2 version. PSP pulled a Silent Hill collection and replaced the VO cast.

i had the pc version before it was fucking butter but my pc shit it self so i lost it

From what I hear though, PC version doesn't play well with modern systems no matter what tricks you pull.

damn it

>Ending where Dana stays in the present
>she and Eike probably fuck
>they don't know they're father and daughter

Still find it weird how some people insist that they're only related in one timeline despite at least three endings implying Wagner isn't dead, and thus is Eike.

Wonder if Eike and Margerrete banged.

...

Should I play the PS2 version with the meh voice acting or should I play the PSP version with Yuri Lowenthal(in other words, the other one with meh voice acting)?

PS2 is objectively better. And it's only really the extra characters who are meh, Eike sounds just fine and isn't Ben 10.

Homunculus has tits

Can someone tell me if Eike is Dr. Wagner and if Dr. Wagner is Eike?
I'm a little confused about Eike and Dana being biological family and Margarette belonging in the present?

Wagner wished for his youth back, then got his mind wiped, eventually becoming Eike. As for the girls, Homunculus switched them not only so there would be a link between the present and past, but so if someone like Hugo tried to strand his "sister" in the present (as Eike can believe her to be an ancestor) it wouldn't affect Eike. As for why since Eike is Wagner, it was probably to avoid Eike learning of who he really is.

Nope, flatter than a pancake.

I'm not a big fan of survival horror games how heavy is it on those elements (tank controls, damage sponges etc) is it worth playing still?

Why didn't he always have a pan on his back?

There's no fighting or monsters to be found. Controls aren't tank, or at least not the really slow kind combined with fixed camera angles. You can freely run around the town fairly early on as you complete each chapter.

So it's like a point and click adventure on the PSP?

No, you fully run around in 3D, kind of like pic related. Only with fewer things to interact with beyond whichever people you can talk to and what items you can pick up. Also, go with the original PS2 version, it has better acting.

ah alright cheers.

are you the same user who keeps posting threads about Steambot Chronicles, Raw Danger, and Shadows of Memories once in a while here?

Love these threads but there just ain't enough talk about them.

6th gen was truly a unique and fun time when it came to unique video game experiences.

I've probably posted the most about Steambot Chronicles, but never had said anything about Raw Danger/Disaster Report.

I don't remember this game too good, but the fortune teller was Wagner's wife right? Why didn't she get off her mystic cryptic ass and deal with Hugo herself? Was she a ghost?

In either ending A or B (both paths will reveal the same scene), you learn that Hugo tried to resurrect her using some hair he kept to remember her. Lucky for him, his faggot ass isn't ripped apart by black tentacles while his mother is spat out as a formless mass of flesh, but she's still brought back as a spirit who can't return to the beyond, and is stuck inside her former home.

In ending B, Eike can send Hugo into the house and Helena will literally bring the roof down on his head.

...

Funny how some characters do look alike in other games without being super popular from either work.

Love this game. You can just YouTube people completing the game if you don't want to do it yourself. Everybody should watch all the endings though, they're awesome.
