So what? It was a good tech demo for Sonic Generations. It has both Classic 2D Sonic & some good 3D Sonic.

I don't think a 1997 game can be a tech demo for a 2011 one.

I'm playing through Unleashed for the first time the past few days and there are so many bad design choices it's hilarious. Amazingly well produced besides that though, it's a shame one of the best looking Sonic games has to be so shit when they nailed the art direction and story tone perfectly.

It makes total sense though, 2D Sonic is in it & 3D Sonic is in it. Hell, like Generations it even has the concept art & even better than Generations it has old Sonic-related movies/videos you can watch.

I'm implying that Sonic Jam is better than Generations. Hell, you don't really even need to play both 2D & 3D like Generations does if you don't like one of the gameplay modes.

Maybe if you surgically removed your left side there, you'd have a decent argument.

Sonic Jam is just a compilation game and the ports aren't even perfect. You're saying a tacked on side feature that was made because 3D was the next big thing is better than a full game (Generations). That's just ridiculous.

Nowhere near as good and a lot of boring levels (to the point where night levels in Unleashed are much better) but not a bad game. All this is about to change though.
