Does this engine allow you to create planets going so far as to allowing you to carve out rivers, lakes, canyons, mountains, etc. the same way that SimCity 4 does with God Mode?

in space engine every planet is just noise created mountains follow by valleys and maybe some water in there, ploes some random atmosphere. here, I summed up every single planet in space engine for you.

This new update with life is pretty awesome, I found an earthlike planet with a geo-locked hurricane and continuous eclipsing moon that makes it look like an eyeball in space.

Why couldnt this cosmonaut get $80k for a full game but a bearded hipster with instagram retinas makes special deals with sony to lie his tits off

Well, I was a little close. Just needed some more mass in the original star.

Space Engine simulates the universe quite well.

Lighting, planet distribution, comets, asteroids, black holes, nebulae are all modeled.

The atmospheres are correctly modeled.

Distances, orbits and star size and spectra are correct too.

All known objects are correctly modeled, photorealistically.

You have the ability to seamlessly travel at any speed, all the way down to ground level of any planet in the universe.

Spacecraft are able to be controlled.

Each successive build of Space Engine brings a higher level of detail to properly modelling the universe.

Comparing Space Engine to no-man's sky is like comparing Doom3 to Arma 3.

I've donated hundreds of dollars to this genius software.

It's actually hard to explain why it's so good-

Basically you can define any setting you like, and go anywhere you like, and import/export anything you like, all without a solidly-built, accurately modeled universe.

Flying the ships is actually pretty fun. Tried it with a ps3 controller and it was smooth as fuck. But the ships only seem to work at around 1 atm. As I lowered down into a 6 atm. terra, the turbulence made it impossible to control it.
