It was only good for emulation. But it is REALLY REALLY good for emulation. In fact, owning one of these and not using it as an emulator is kinda stupid.
Dissidia (I only played the first one) was the only actual PSP game I put a lot of hours in too on the PSP. It's pretty good though the controls do suffer a lot from having only one joystick.
Just play some old school PS1 games on it. It was great using it for playing C&C:RA on the go.

The PSP's emulation is shit and full of speedhacks, a lot of games don't work. When the Vita's homebrew becomes stable it will be far superior

The platform is locked down tighter than fort knox. It's only with the release of HENkaku a few weeks ago that it really became practical for people to get emulators on the thing.

With henkaku those emulators are still using the same power halfbyte loader used to, which means only stuff on par with psp, so its emulation is pretty shite.
