Is Lunar good?

I loved the 2 PSOne games, but when I played the PSP remake of 1, I kinda found it boring and "very old school".

Maybe because I played the PSOne to death.
Either way, it has some cool music, and likable charas, even if the combat is somewhat slow and clunky.

I remember 2 being hard as fuck, one of the hardest JRPGs I played (if something as a "hard JRPG" exists)

Dunno, I played a legally bought Limited Edition copy on PSP, but supposedly PPSSPP or whatever is called is a very good emulator.

Yes, but play the PS versions. The remakes starting from the GBA are actually shittier versions. They have random encounters and removed the units walking in the battlefield. The PSP version is a prettied up version of the GBA one, so skip it.

I'm a filthy casual, so I'll say play Legend because its emulation is the most stable.

Silver Star is the hardest version.
SSH is a more indepth but easier version.

Sega CD versions are best.

Lunar 1 is kinda meh. Pretty mediocre and generic story/writing. The battle system is fun.

Lunar 2 is fantastic.

Play the PSX versions.
