>We will reach a point where people will ironically type "Well played, heroes!" and other hyper-polite variations until the double speak gets so thick you can't figure out what anyone actually means

And who the fuck gets offended by GG? Isn't easier to assume they're being genuine rather than thinking the whole world's out to get you?

babies who can't handle banter and should stick with vs ai

>babies who can't handle banter

so you mean people crying about blizzard poking gentle fun at them?

I agree, they should try not to get so mad at a spot of bants.

>The more polite and cheerful I am, the more angry and murderous my opponents become

Did Sun Tzu write something about politeness and it's effect on your enemy?

The internet is full of beta pussy easily triggered faggots.

You have no proof, if anything everyone is just pretending to act like that

>Another "Sup Forums gets triggered when blizzard trolls them" episode

All you're proving is they're 100x better than you at memeing.

GG EZ has always been derogatory in form, it is literally a shortened form of telling someone else that they suck, making the game over and non-challenging for yourself.

Why people get triggered by it, god knows, but i assume they have nothing better to do than get angry at something obvious as internet toxicity of players, especially in games that try to be competetive multiplayer.

>Appear weak when strong, and strong when weak.
Pretty sure that's one of his.

It's more fun to be unrepentantly polite when someone is livid at you. Responding with 'you seem upset' or why are you so angry' gets a more fun response than 'lol u mad'

i am 30 and have been saying gg forever and have never meant it as an insult.

Why don't people just mute the Match Channel?

The only time I use gg as an insult is to usually mock myself. Like for example if I run out and it myself killed like a moron ill type gg.
All other times I actually mean good game.
But I dont mind OW's filters I find them funny.

I say it at the end of an obvious unbalanced game where nobody on the other team was having fun, purely to make them more upset.

It's the same reason you dumb contrarian faggots come to Sup Forums to shitpost so you don't get banned from reddit.

>not just appearing willfully ignorant and happy to talk and play with others
>any genuine praise is easily received
>any sarcastic banter bounces off and triggers the guy doing it

Being cheerful is the ultimate smug

The people offended by GG must suck so bad that there wasn't any competition. Even in WoW PVP, I'll say something if the other team just barely won.

Poe's Law makes a sincere "gg" indistinguishable from a mocking "gg", but I literally cannot understand why people take every instance of GG to be an insult. Some people are trying to genuinely wish you a good game.

naw man you gotta be like "I'm sorry you feel upset" and "is something wrong you seem to be angry about something?"

>Be dishwasher
>Training a bunch of rookies
>We make it through at a decent time
>"GG I carried"

>can't handle the banter
>can't handle being meme'd by blizzard

Heh you cucks just got cucked my friends.

There's nothing bants about it you soft twat, Blizzard are just pandering to little babies via a thiny veiled smarmy "joke".

I've never once said gg ez but filtering a harmless phrase is just beyond pathetic people like you who defend it need to neck themselves.

>babbies today don't know gg etiquette
>instead of learning it they cry and moan that other people should read their minds.

The losing team says GG first or it doesn't get said. GG means the game was close or generally high skill on both sides, if the losing team feels like they git stomped it wasn't a good game.

This has been the case since fucking Quake. Literally every person complaining about being reported for gg or ggez is a child.

but it's still gg ez, only now its filtered into an extra sentence. The sentiment is still there, just longer now.

EPIK BANTZ M8 LOL ITS JUST A PRANK BRAH

banter is for subhuman scum who have no manners. You can have a relationships with other people without having to hide your insecurities behind yelling obscenities all the time.

Yelling obscenities isn't banter. There's a difference between banter and just being an asshole.

Not only that, if it was actually a good game you're probably going to type something more specific than just "gg"

That difference is being friends with someone so that they can tell when you're being facetious.

The internet is making you kids autistic

Sauce?

Isn't it just "gg ez" specifically that gets filtered? Nobody says that when they want to say that the game was actually good.

i would love for someone to explain how typing two letters constitutes as banter

because it hurts peoples fragile feelings.

GGEZ is what gets filtered but gg by itself when said first by the winning team is the same shit.

>wapanese is word filtered to weeaboo
>everyone keeps using it as an insult

>gg ez is filtered to polite-speak
>everyone uses polite-speak as an insult

genius

>The losing team says GG first or it doesn't get said.
I think that's retarded and think that as long as it wasn't a stomp and was a GOOD GAME it makes sense to say it. Also anyone who says gg ez is a mongoloid.

>gg ez is considered banter

"banter" after a game when you'll never see the person again and know nothing about them is cowardly and dickish

>gg is default quicktext on rocket league
>gg gets you banned on other games

Rocket League > other games

>win the game
>write a 17 paragraph long explanation of why the other team sucks

Can't filter that, fuckers.

ok faggot

NEW BETA WITH THE NUDITY SWORD FUCKING WHEN

>I think that's retarded
That's nice, but it doesn't change the established etiquette. The rules don't change just because you don't like them.

If you were so good, why not talk shit during the game? Waiting for the end seems like something an insecure pussy would do
