Just about every game of an established franchise these days is routinely released with less content than prior games. It's going to be a shitty base game story with no features from ME2 and 3 (fucking hell even ME2 has shit loads more depth than ME fucking 3) and then everything else tacked on as DLC.

that really bothered me in DA:Inquisition.
I genuinely liked that dwarf scout character, and she was the only one who really felt well rounded and down to earth. She didn't have some extravagant personality or some dark history or brooding attitude.

She was the kind of girl that you'd want to settle down with, enjoy eachother's company and maybe start a business/family/go traveling, that kinda thing.

The first game focused more on telling a good story, with the characters also having their own little stories, but mostly in relation to the main plot. They serve to help enhance that main plot and build the universe.

over time, I feel like they flipped this over. Where suddenly the actual plot wasn't as important as the stories of the characters. Which then makes the whole journey feel disjointed and unimportant.

and when we got to 3, they clearly wrote themselves into a hole that they couldn't fill with more character exposition. Which is why the main story sucked, but we still got some decent moments with fan favorite characters.

I kinda want them to go back to something more like ME2 because that's really the game that had the most appeal, the best character lineup, and while the story is really out of place or pointless in the main canon, it was still kinda fun. Even if it was just
