Some of the DC variants are nice.
its neat
Nintendo 64 games
>People actually played the inferior N64/PS1 ver of 3 and PS1 ver of 4.
Tjats the one my brother has:3
>tfw master quest working on flash cart with hacks to correct the osd colors, restore the original 1.0 blood and moon/star textures, and remove the pointless pre-rendered gamecube cutscenes and restore the originals
feels good. now to make a nice repro cart
they're still good
This + an everdirve 64 is cool because im able to play debug roms.
...
>tfw that was my very first console
it was pretty rad that it came with the expantion pack because of Dk 64, this console endure the punishment that only a mexican 6 y/o with a lot of friends could give like a motherfucker
>No Metroid
It's shit
Turok was the shit nigga.
here u go
All is forgiven
Oh my god.
...
man I went back to play that last year and for as much as I hate framerate bitching, it's bad, like really bad, you're lucky to get 15fps with enemies on screen. certainly playable though and I have good memories of it too
I wonder if that steam port is any good
dark: the game. hope your parents shitty wood paneled 80s TV has some brightness controls, mine didn't
Fact: Only Americans cared about the Nintendo 64. Do you know what other consoles only Americans cared about? The entire Xbox line. The N64 was literally Xbox Zero.
not an argument
fps drop killed turok 2 and 3.
Fog is the main problem of the first one, but i don't mind it, PC is great, wait till they announce T2 port
>I wonder if that steam port is any good
I heard it's really good, I seen that it's really good. I just need to buy and play it myself but it's an absolute upgrade to the N64 version. It's super fast paced to.
Not an argument, a fact. Don't try to refute it.
>by the way guys, I am european and attention starved.
sick story
>The N64 was literally Xbox Zero.
You mean the Dreamcast, right?
Microsoft made a version of Windows for Dreamcast that could developers could use to port PC games to the console, and it's no coincidence the Xbox controller was so similar to that of the Dreamcast (long-pull analog triggers, analog stick above the D-Pad, built-in networking, two vertical memory card slots in the controller, letter buttons in the same arrangement).
The Dreamcast was the system Microsoft used to feel out console game development, and should be called "Xbox Zero", not the Nintendo system they had no involvement with.
and then they got Smilebit to put out a Jet Set Radio and Panzer Dragoon for Xbox a few months after launch
Always wanted to have one
I just got my very first N64 recently, Sup Forums. What are the must own games? Don't give me shit like Mario or Zelda or Super Smash Bros, everyone knows those. I mean the hidden gems. The underrated games. I know almost nothing about the library beyond general Nintendo stuff.
What are some good N64 emulators?

I miss transparent consoles and peripherals. Today they still exist, but they are way less common than in the 5th gen.
user, the Nintendo 64 was released 20 years ago
>TFW mom took me to Circuit City to buy one for me.
>TFW deciding on a color felt like life or death
>TFW went with blue
You forgot these:
Quest 64
Jet force Gemini
Bomberman 64
Pilot Wings 64
Rayman 2
Do the math.
Someone who's 18 today would have been born in 1998. Their first console would have been sometime in the early 2000's.
Someone whose first console was the N64 was probably born in the early 90's, making them about 22-25 or something.
Oh yeah
WINBACK COVERT OPERATIONS
Castlevania Legacy of Darkness & 64
Project Wonder J2
>Rayman 2
Never played this, so I can't give an opinion on it.
>Bomberman 64
>Pilot Wings 64
>Quest 64
I didn't really think they were all that good.
>Jet force Gemini
I played that to completion, and it was fun, but I wouldn't put that down as a must own game, as was asked for.
Bait af but shut the fuck up.
Thanks guys, gonna check some of these out.
