If you play 64 for multiplayer avoid it.
Otherwise it has an easier normal mode and a faithful N64 mode and Expert mode. So it'll take a bit longer to 100% than the original but it's ultimately the same game with some polish applied. Can't really remember because it has been a while, but I think the dialogue was re-recorded.

Oh yeah, you can turn on Gyro controls but it isn't as nice a fit as later games that got them.

user, it's the best version of SF64 that nintendo put out. higher res, faster framerate, game looks shinier, some better particle effects, etc.

obviously it pales in comparison to actually playing it on PC with 1920x1080 res and hi-rez texture fan-made mods, but it's the best 'official' version

I'm playing through Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Dunno why this doesn't get talked about more often; I'm not done yet, but I like it at least as much as Superstar Saga, which is my favourite from the series

It's really good. Don't forget to load back into your save and explore the rest of the game after you beat it.

If you already have an XL there is no reason to get a N3DS, XL or otherwise.

I have 91 digital titles on my 3DS.
20 of those were ambassador games and I think around 7 were already on the system (I bought it pre-owned before the NNID system was implemented) but still, I was surprised when I counted them all.

Akane and Santa took part in a nonary game when they were kids. Akane was saved from the incinerator room by future Junpei contacting her through the morphogenetic field. In order to not cause a time paradox and warp out of existence, Akane had to recreate the nonary game to make it possible for Junpei to contact and help her past self.

I'm not sure which timeline you are referring to. In every route other than the true ending (where Junpei contacts young Akane), she always dies. If the player strays too far from the true route, Akane starts to feel sick and randomly collapse. Eventually she would die/disappear due to the time paradox but I don't think this is ever explicitly shown in the game.

I pretty much just play mario kart online nowadays. Still really enjoy it.

I suppose. It really depends on what your own personal tastes are; some games just aren't for everyone. It's a good way to see what games are out there, and which ones are popular among this crowd.

Use your cell phone then. Connect to wifi and type 192.168.0.1 into your web browser
it will ask for a username and password (can find both on your router unless someone has changed them)

then go into your password settings and try changing the password type to WEP.
