What's the question?
There is none.
Then what are you solving?
How can there be an answer when theres no question
No one knows.
That's what people are trying to find out.
>picture shows penis and vagoo on each end of picture.
>combine them
oh shit mystery solved.
That puzzle just screams artificial difficulty
I don't know anything about this game, but my guess is that not all the information needed to solve this problem is on that screen.
well the shape is triangle we should follow the figure on the triangle
following the triangle we come across 3 and 9
so its 3/9?
You would sadly be wrong.
Where are you getting this information?
oh wait scratch that
its probably related to fractions or something
ok that's pretty stupid, with no direction that just makes the puzzle so much more difficult because a lot it up to interpretation, someone could technically get a right answer, but if it's not the exact think that the creator says it is, then they're going to be wrong, that's just dumb.
I play the crappy mobage. It's a challenge quest for an event.
>3 sixes in a triangle.
who could be behind this hrmm.
to me it looks like a breeding chart of features for genes that are recessive/homologous, and that's showing breeding pairs, their offspring from the bottom to top
me replying
This game did give a promotion reward of 1488 crystals once.
That's what I was thinking, but we don't have enough information to assign any traits to numbers, that I can see.
This is what I randomly assigned, assuming that the bottom left is our base point for at least one of the traits.
The answer is "circle".
Boy I see Granblue is still fucking stupid. You guys should just play a real RPG, you'd probably spend less money that this fucking cashgrab mobage too, I'm trying to help you here.
Variables (assuming a value of >1 is required for cryptography)
>Legs on insect
>Colour of bodyparts
>Mandibles
>Abdomen
Three directional symbols. No marking to specify their utilization or order, so it may be assumed either that they are equal in primacy or their meaning becomes apparent during the process of decryption, or both.
A solution box (so assumed because two partial entries have been made) with digits added.
Examine the second from top row second insect along. One numeral: 9 has been provided. Counting the legs actually produces the number 9, so it may be assumed as a starting point that the number somehow counts something else, or has a preset starting point. Assuming occam's razor let's just go with assuming the mandibles count as a value of 1 and see where the working theory takes us, perhaps the colour of the insect is actually important, we don't know yet, but we can find out..
So we look at the other insect with a provided variable: row 3, first on left. This one actually says 3. Our first assumption about the mandible doesn't quite tally, but perhaps the colour of the insect, or the number being in the top box makes a difference. These are just more theories to test as we go through, let's stay consistent and assume that if its in the top box, then maybe a joined mandible or horn actually takes a number away, and the two horn/mandible adds one.
We now have a theory that fills in all the left boxes on each insect. Let us now start work on the second working theory to fill the last box, and assume that the two numbers are part of an equation.
So with our current theory, row 3 first on left should be 3 / 3. Now immediately this strikes me as not being the correct solution because for obvious reasons soon coming. Let's continue though, because you have to work through each theory.
let's assume the equation is division:
3/3 = 1
more coming.
subtle
What game is this?
Again, this looks pretty shitty, and for the next reason is actually our least likely answer, but let's keep working.
so we fill in all the boxes and surprise surprise, we get 1 each time, because this particular working theory is shit. Now the triangles still haven't served a purpose, but let's say we tried a different theory and actually got a lot of different numbers in the third box. Perhaps the triangles (without and indication of order) are supposed to be used together? let's assume they are and follow them through. If the triangles aren't in any order they must all be as valid as each other, and since the third box is serving as a sum, perhaps it should be that if you follow ANY triangle's trajectory you get the same pattern of numbers?
So with this we have a key (the triangles) through with to decode the cypher (the sum) Now all you need is a working theory that satisfies the key and produces a valid number string. My guess is 1111111111 is not fucking correct, but at least you can now actually TRY and solve the puzzle.
The beetle in the 9 box has 8 legs tho
You have to read the whole post or you can't have any pudding, user.
The first thing I noticed is that the circle path makes it so that the 3rd insect is the one with the 3 and the 9th insect is the one with the 9
It's risky but you could use this reasoning to deduce all their numbers in a similar way
You're actually just spouting a whole bunch of nothing to try and support your baseless claims though.
You try to sound smart by repeating "theory" and "assumption" a bunch, but you're actually just disproving every statement you make as you make it.
what game
Personally I think the triangle, square, and circle provide the context needed to fill the 'solution' boxes with numbers.
I also think the order they are utilized corresponds to their number of edges. Whether this means the order should be 'triangle->square->circle' or 'circle->triangle->square', I don't know.
No, sounding smart would actually prove an answer you fucking asshole. What I'm trying to do is provide a theory. The alternative to getting a stick up your ass is to do the same thing. Of course it might be wrong, but at least if you haven't even got a clue its something to try.
jesus user, are you genuinely very young, or are you old enough that you should be embarrassed by such pointless aggression against someone who is trying to contribute to the thread?
I'm going to fucking try that user.
This is it.
Some mobage.
Are you 12? You are breaking down because of how that other guy BTFOd you.
the one with a three has three pairs of extremities
the one with a nine has nine parts if you count a pair of extremities as one thing and then also count the whole as one thing
how can we interact with the puzzle, how do we present an answer?
twitter.com
>まずは角と足から出てくる数字でマスを埋めましょう
First fill the box with the number of each beetle's horns and legs
>ヒント 黒=10
black = 10
So yes? Weird how the IPs didn't go up too isn't it.
You type in a box below the puzzle.
It doesn't limit you to numbers, it allows you to add spaces, so the format of the answer could actually be fucked off, even if we are on the right track.
I found something interesting.
Start with the circular-shaped sequence
Insect with 3 is the 3rd insect to be circled
Insect with 9 is the 9th insect to be circled
Notice that there is another insect that looks exactly like the insect with the 9
That insect is the 9th insect to be circled in the square pattern
Notice that there is also another insact that looks exactly like the insect with the 3
It is, as you can imagine, the 3rd insect to be circled in the square pattern
The triangle pattern still baffles me though, I am guessing it is the answer you need to input
The answer is seeyousoon.
is there a penalty for a wrong answer?
answer is: seeyousoon
Because I am the person that posted , can you give it a break on making yourself a fool?
Here's a motivation doraf for you detectives
Some asshole solved it.
At least now we can work backwards and try to find out how the fuck it turns into words.
You have to reload the quest on failure, otherwise no.
But the IP did go up when they posted. user, seriously what.
the right scarab on the top second row and the second left scarab on the bottom row are by all means identical.
Expect for the 9. Would it belong there?
Is the end circled in a solution box the termination or beginning of the order?
Filling the bottom left box from the middle following the path denoted in the circle with incrementing integers gets us our 9.
>the other guy
Kill yourself, user. Stop ruining the fun.
See
how the hell does it even work?
counting its own row there are nine bugs below/on its line the one bug with the 9
there are three bugs above the bug with a three
if the answer is seeyousoon I feel like there has to be some context here I'm missing
I think the bugs all have a number associated with a letter. Like, 1 = A and so on.
This kinda:
Maybe ASCII?
It's real
how?
If you're supposed to fill the solution boxes with numbers based on the insect's appearance. I'd guess you run through the filled out boxes in the order specified in the symbols on the edges of the problem.
Then that sequence in turn is translated into text.
I saw this in a book before. Should be "SEEYOUSOON".
Bit too late, but good on you if you actually figured it yourself.
Props, user.
black = +10
line = +5
So for the bottom left
Black + 2 horns = 12
2 legs + line back = 7
12+7 = 19
How do you fill the boxes with numbers?
And how do you corellate those numbers with letters? It's not ASCII.
I dont get what the numbers mean nor how the person got those letters.
...
Nip illustration is better.
user on vg did it where the numbers are a 1:1 with the letters.
Either way, fuck this puzzle
>black = +10
>line = +5
Okay, that is too fucking arbitrary, there is no way to infer that from the information provided in the puzzle.
Not exactly. Colors and head type are modifiers that change how you will count the legs and their value.
>how do you convert numbers to letters
You just sum up the top number with the bottom number and then convert it. Like: 1 = A, 2 = B, etc.
This one has a few mistakes such as the S of "SOON" but I actually noticed one in mine, the third letter (the second E) is actually indeed a 1/4
Whats the purpose of the Beatles though?
They give the numbers, through color and feature combos
What was the point of the triangle and circle symbols? Were they just a red herring?
Black = +10
Line = +5
Makes the easiest sense. How did you get your numbers? Why does double horn + 4 legs = 6, yet double horn plus no legs = 0? Why is single black horn 3*2, but single horn and 4 legs 7+3?
No, it is how you find the 10 and the 5
I know, I was just trolling so I posted random numbers!
son of a bitch user
Don't look at: It's like they were deliberately trying to be a confusing asshole.
Makes sense.
What gets me though is that you could infer the line=+5 from the drawing maybe, but black=+10 has absolutely no context.
Not to mention the puzzle throws extraneous and errant information into the mix with the circle and triangle paths.
The top beetle, 100% black, is the 10th beetle following the circle order
How did it help you figure out the 10 and 5?
>No, it is how you find the 10 and the 5
No it isn't, you can get line=+5 because no line with 2 legs and an antenna is 3, while 4 legs with a line is 9.
Black has no such indicating information, and the triangle and circle are pointless and wrong.
See No idea about the 5
Setting aside that associating '10th beetle' means black is +10 is a non sequitur, it ignores the fact that from an entirely ignorant perspective the square and the triangle are equally valid.
According to the square black is the 7th beetle, according to the triangle its the 4th.
See 5 is the one you can figure out:
Let me break it down slowly to you.
Circle = Tells you the value of black
Triangle = Somehow tells you the value of the line (I don't know how yet)
Square = The puzzle's solution
This is much more logical than you and your "SURELY THE TRIANGLE AND THE CIRCLE ARE RED HERRINGS......"
it means Kabuto is superior
why does it look like a furbait
I don't think it's logical that the triangle and circle are red herrings, I think it's a fucking stupid oversight by the designer of the puzzle.
I think the reason people figured out black was +10 was because of they realized the problem and tweeted this:
Its a lizard you stupid
>it can't be furbait because it's a scalie
The other point I was making is that again: if you figured out to associate color as a number modifier, and decided that somehow the symbols told you the value of that color modifier, you:
A. Could not validate a correlation between order number and number modifier for the line
B. Could not determine that 'circle' gave the correct order for black over the validity of the other symbol paths. You would be just as liable to say black was +7 or +4 and be wrong as you were to say it's +10.
What you're doing is essentially confirmation bias because you now know the answer.
Not really
RED PILL ME ON THIS
IM AN AUTIST AND PROBABLY HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO SOMETHING OF VALUE
WHAT ARE THE RULES, WHAT IS THE GOAL, WHERE IS THIS FROM
It's already solved, it was part of an event in Granblue fantasy
and the reward was 50 crystals which is basically nothing
fuck you
ebin
not a puzzle
its a fucking guessing game
i don't understand
3
fuck off magnet
where do the numbers in the boxes come from?
...
