Gotta Protectors

Did you buy her game, Sup Forums?

youtube.com/watch?v=WbM3Q-3COkM

What other jap game has visible female nipples?

On a Nintendo game no less?

I completely forgot all about this.

No

Because they don't want to release it in EU

Looks neat

PC port when

...

Amazon is cute! CUTE!

...

>8-bit retro indie game
Unless it's 1$ I'm not touching it, I have far better games to play

It's stupidly fun and addicting, famalam.

JUST

How bad you can fail at releasing a game?

It's actually by veteran Japanese developers instead of numale hipsters suckling each other off in some cafe in Seattle Washington USA.

Also
>her game

It's a semi-tower defense/musou hybrid but enemies actually attack you the moment you come into view. Super addicting and it has a self-aware story.

>tfw you have to blow into the cartridge when you boot up the game

The developer didn't have a publisher, they literally handled the localizing.

It was the same thing with the first game

I'm incredibly amazed that they even bothered to release it in the west

Actually looks pretty fun

>I'm incredibly amazed that they even bothered to release it in the west

Well like you said:

>It was the same thing with the first game

Making stages is fun.

should have been a porn game like violated heroine, not this garbage

>tower defense

No thanks

that sprite message at the end got to me more than it should have

I didn't know it was translated. I was having difficulties playing the Japanese version.

Hey Ancient hurry up and make a third Oasis game you jerks

How could you say no when the tower you're defending is literally this cutie?

>tfw you can pick her up and take you with her
>tfw she cheers for you when you kick ass
>tfw she cheers for you you can unleash a super attack

plus her magic is super strong too

>her game

Did I stutter?

fucking fuck when is this coming out in the EU eshop
it's been like a month since the US release

F-fuckk....

This game was more fun than I expected it to be. There's a really good variety of levels too. A lot of them are rather easy though.

you've beaten the king of destroyers right?

>Can't play as Princess Lola and beat monsters with the banner

I'm still mad about this. At least Amazon and Archer are absolutely insane once you pimp them out. Amazon's boomerangs can kill basically everything when maxed out and used with mana/regen skills or weapons. Archer can tear a hole through anything with rapid fire and pierce, along with icefend to keep enemies back.

My only complaint is that the game has no online co-op.

Strategising beforehand and watching the results play out in real-time aren't that fun for me, particularly if you made a poor strategic decision and have to watch your units crumble. There are plenty of TD games where you actively take part, but the movement and combat are always clunky and feel like an afterthought. But if the controls and feedback and mechanics were better-developed, what would the point be in having the game focus around TD, when you could have made a serviceable enough top-down action game? Then again that's my prejudice against these games, since I can't unsee Tower Defense as 'that' kind of Flash game. The ones you see enmass on Kongregate that are unwinnable on the first playthrough unless you grind for coins for upgrades. That's all I can think of when I see Tower Defense - a grind, an automated process at a slow pace, and a general lack of fun or motivation to continue.

Aw geez I just realized those are meant to be those rubber kinnikuman figures they used to have in vending machines for a quarter

I had so many of those fucking things

This isn't like that at all. It plays just like a top down beat em up but you need to protect a girl, and you can place barriers I guess.

The developer is actually putting online co-op top priority in the sequel.

How much is it

>sequel

It better be released in English and have playable Lola as a joke (or at least a few new classes).

Yee son.

Those things are a little pricy now and I want some.

What makes this game stand on its own away from TDs is that the stages have mechanics/gimmicks that make each level pretty much completely different from other levels. One level feels like a huge dungeon that you crawl through while another is a "reenactment" of WWII.

Yes, they literally made the countries into a map and you go around the world to destroy enemy countries.

You can also have fun making your own maps, I made one where you're not allowed to touch the walls or a bunch of minotaurs are sicced into the princess.

...

がんばろう!!

I actually contacted Ancient on twitter about some suggestions for the sequel. They really took it well.

Hope their next priority is releasing on platforms where people actually buy games. Fuck the eShop.

Last one was on the shitheap known as 360 Live Arcade, so the eShop is at least an improvement.

red is best

wheres the other code for these two?

>no account system
>improvement
I'd say they are on par at best. At least the eShop lets you add the exact amount you need.

>only on 3DS

>Not out in the EU
Oh.

Pfft. How about another Bare Knuckle/Streets of Rage game??

They know "retro" is in and a BK/SOR throwback game would be awesome.

Miiverse

I doubt SoR remake will ever be topped.

It's one of those "if doesn't sells in one region we don't release in other" stupid shit.

Maybe a year from now at full price.
