Cont. from From what I've gathered, there are two ways to keep Koller alive.
1. Kill Otar and Vano. 2. Do both favors for Otar. When doing the first favor, you have to kill Gallois. If you try to deal with Gallois non-lethally, Koller will die.
Otar is planning to overthrow Radich so he can become leader of the Dvali. If he is alive and you have not done the two favors for him he won't be confident in his ability to overthrow Radich. Because of this, while he won't openly challenge Radich he'll still try to weaken him by having Koller killed.
If you do the favors for Otar, but you fail to kill Galois, Radich will be the one who kills Koller. Why? Radich and Koller have a deal. A deal that involves Neuropozyne. The supplier of this Neuropozyne? Gallois. Getting rid of Gallois, one way or the other, disrupts this deal. This disruption leads Radich to decide to kill Koller. If you killed Gallois, and you did the other favor, than Otar will kill Radich before the kill order on Koller can be issued. If you didn't kill Galois, Otar doesn't replace Radich even if you did both favors. Why?
In TF29's Organized Crime section, you will find a board with information on various organizations mentioned or interacted with in Mankind Divided. It updates itself over the course of the story. Usually to mark a character's death. Gallois eventually ends up on that board.
Gallois is some kind of spy tasked with keeping an eye on Otar. Apparently it is normal for Dvali lieutenants to have two spies keep an eye on them. Their job being to inform the boss, Radich, if said lieutenants are planning power plays. Conveniently enough for Otar, the other spy is already dead. A victim of that bombing in the beginning of the game.
If you don't kill Gallois, he's free to continue providing Radich with information on Otar. "Disappeared" or not. And it certainly doesn't help matters when you tell him, "I'm supposed to kill you, but I won't."
I saved Koller on pacifist. I told Gallois about Otar and Otar seemed to assume I had killed him and asked me to do the next favour. Maybe it was a bug or maybe Gallois just disappears and assumes another identity so Otar never knows anything.
Parker Hughes
I've finished this game twice and there's nothing that says Koller is attacked or assassinated beyond the very first conflict. No emails. No cutscenes. What are you on about?
Hunter Russell
...
Ryder Murphy
That's so complicated, i just completely skipped the entire Dvali business by failing Otar dialogue, knocked out everyone in casino and got the calibrator. I pushed Koller to tell me about his relations with Radich and he was fine. I killed neither Otar nor Radich, but game considered Radich dead for some reason.
Isaac Clark
You're sure he's alive? You went back to his place during curfew?
David Campbell
Ayy lmao, I'm and i got pacifist with Koller alive
Charles Wood
Does Kohler die before installing the thingy that lets you use all augs without worrying about overclocking?
Because I played a pacifist run and did both favour for Otar, let Galois get out of the country with a new identitiy or something like that insted of killing him, and I never got any indication that Kohler died. I mean he installed the regulator thingy and after that I never heard from him again.
Chase Collins
Yeah, just checked, pic related
Joseph Nelson
You have to visit his place during martial law to see if he's up or down.
Connor Morales
HE HAD A DEAD
Lucas Peterson
What happens if you kill Radich in the theater when you can go there at the earliest possible time (during your second visit to Prague around the time when you're doing the second favour for Otar)?
Does Otar take over or something?
Parker Edwards
I forgot, when do you remove the overclock limitation? Before or during the curfew?
Nathaniel Clark
Prague 2, before you leave for GARM.
Camden Gonzalez
I reloaded a save and checked, he's dead. Interesting.
Ian Mitchell
wait, so after all this is it just fucking random?
Matthew Gomez
Don't ask Koller about Radich. His deal with him is to stay shut about Radich's augs for protection. If you don't force Koller to tell you Radich won't kill him.
Aiden Peterson
i just described my experience, i have no idea of what to make of it
Nolan Thomas
I hope this level of convoluted nonsense is a sign of things to come.
Apparently if you ask him about the deal AND avoid Otar completely, Koller will survive.
Jack Ross
But how would Radich know Koller snitched? Why did that one user say Koller's place is bugged, any source to that?
Ethan Adams
I'm convinced the game's broken.
I helped Edward with his permit and not Irenka and she ended up in Golem city. Later, when I had to go break K out, she was there with him and thanked me for helping her.
Jackson Stewart
Didn't ask, Koller still died.
William Mitchell
Nah, that's intentional. I'm not sure what's the explanation for cops moving augs out of Golem and back into Prague though.
Wyatt Clark
There were riots and police sweeps in golem after Talos' death, remember? She got caught and put into jail, that's it
Camden Rogers
I had the same thing, game probably misplaced her with shopkeeper dude you gave the permit.
Zachary Martin
Oh, that makes sense then.
Asher Gutierrez
>cops moving augs out of Golem It's like if Trump moved all Mexicans through The Wall in the US
Kevin Reed
Overcrowding I suppose.
Jack Martin
I still can't tell of I like shit like this happening. It means my choices have real consequence, and they do follow a logic you can discover in game, but god damn karma's a bitch.
>Trusting miller and being a good TF29er is the route that gets him killed (prioritising bomb over orchid antidote) >Being a pacifist gets Koller killed >Telling elisa to stand up for herself gets some random innocent police blown up >Contacting miller instead of Alex while at GARM sets off an unavoidable alarm
Dominic Long
no because everyone makes clear how impossible it is for augs to actually get back from golem city.
Unless the police were shipping them back they are not getting out.
Its just weird.
I feel like its a cop out, that hard choice? they both work out fine!
Jeremiah Martin
>>Telling elisa to stand up for herself gets some random innocent police blown up they cannot be police and innocent.
next you will say you feel bad for NSF or MJ12 troops depending on when you fight them
Jose Ramirez
It makes zero sense
Alexander Rodriguez
>Trust very few You asked for this
Charles Morris
Some of the cops during curfew can be overheard questioning their orders and genuinely struggling with the situation. Not all of them are neo nazis
Brody Sullivan
Eliza did literally nothing wrong. That same innocent police would shoot you, an Interpol agent, on sight. Not to mention the innocent civvies. Not being able to trust anyone in the game is also a nice framing device desu.
Leo Gray
>Being a pacifist gets Koller killed not always, read the thread >Telling elisa to stand up for herself gets some random innocent police blown up No cop dies from the explosion, it's a car and a turret, i vouch for my words because i always check bodies for skull icons.
Carter Lopez
Is that Jensen saying "Subtle" Never caught that
Dominic Hall
>questioning their orders and genuinely struggling with the situation but they are still part of this problem.
Remember what Jensen did when he saw things go bad with the police? He quit, the honest detective isn't quitting because he's about to retire. But street duty cops are not a week of leaving.
I'm not saying you should go out of your way to kill them, but they are not worth your mournful thoughts
Michael King
Yep. It's cute.
Julian Wood
When she blew up the car for me, I saw a body go flying.
And by sounds of things in the thread, Koller surviving in a pacifist playthrough is a bug, like the game loading the wrong permit character
Benjamin Reed
Martial law got declared after the riots in Golem spread to Prague. Irenka or Edward could have broken out of Golem and made there way back to Prague during the confusion caused by the riots. Edward then hides in the swer and runs into Samizdat, and Irenka gets picked up by the cops and thrown into that cell with K and Bones.
Aaron Miller
We'll see if it get patched up, game have several confusing moments like that
Carson Powell
>declared after the riots in Golem spread to Prague. By all accounts the riots didn't really spread. Its just a chance to lock the place down.
> Irenka or Edward could have broken out of Golem and made there way back to Prague Except cops are shooting on sight. So if thats the case they would never be captured, unless they escaped and made it there before the supposed riots did, which is just impossible?
If the police carted them over, for use as "look we caught rioters from golem city" or whatever then that works, but nothing short of that is seeing anybody get from there to prague. Its a mess
David Harris
In the regard of confusing plotlines going on in the backgrounds this game definitely feels more like Deus Ex 1
Kevin James
>Except cops are shooting on sight.
Only the ones that run(if they weren't guilty they wouldn't have run), you see temporary holding cells set up all over the city.
Asher Martinez
Yeah, kinda feels unfinished though. I though the last mission was like just the beginning of the end, was hoping to end the story line about the mystery augs and shit with the whole sarif saying "you've got to figure this one out yourself".
A lot of story without end in this. Kinda weird that the upcoming DLC's are basically just more self contained stroy with only a tad bit of connection the main line.
Benjamin Gonzalez
>you see temporary holding cells set up all over the city. you hear they are also gunning down people just as much.
And again, if the accounts you hear are correct they are doing the lockdown so they can round up people (a very deus ex thing to happen) and we should expect to see them.
Justin Bennett
Neat I didn't even know that Koller could die. Anyway I killed both Dvali fucks in the Theatre along with a shit ton of their mooks. Crime doesn't pay lads.
Easton Young
Continuing Foxiest of Hounds/Pacifist info gathering from the last thread.
Fail conditions: - Contacting Miller in GARM facility leads to a scripted alarm - Failing any hack (including in Prague and TF29) triggers invisble alarm - Not incapacitating 11 guards in the last mission breaks pacifist - Marchenko counts for pacifist run (can't use kills switch or shoot him) - (BUG) A multi-target Tesla attacks that can cause enemies to become hostile for a second voiding Foxiest - (BUG) When having face-to-face with Janus in tourist information centre, exist to the street level directly. Going through the severs can cause them become hostile for no reason - (RARE BUG) Using the drill in GARM facility can break Foxiest of Hounds
NOT fail conditions: - any situations when NPCs are killed by other NPCs, like when police take out the fake checkpoint, the firefight between golden masks and TF29 in Dubai or civilians killed by the drones in the sewers - Allison dies - Koller dies - Miller dies
Needs to be checked: - letting Singh die in Dubai (probably doesn't count, but need to be sure) - ending choice: does only saving the delegates or dealing with bombs work? (both obviously works)
Grayson Nguyen
So you also skipped entire Dvali content as me, but you went lethal on them right?
Matthew Barnes
Exactly the same here
Levi Diaz
She never appeared in the cell for me.
Nicholas Evans
I did pacifist and Koller survived, but I took out Radich(and only him in is office) nonlethally after he told Otar to fuck off (did both quests for otar, let louis live)
Aiden Brooks
You can make logical assumption that everything that dies not directly by your hand doesn't violate pacifist
James Brown
does making turrets and robots fire on enemies ruin pacifist?
Isaiah Cooper
When is the Eliza mission, and does she show up at all after?
She's cute! Cute!!
Hudson Russell
>- (BUG) A multi-target Tesla attacks that can cause enemies to become hostile for a second voiding Foxiest Are you just assuming that hostile->voided foxiest? The same thing happened with the stun gun last game and it didn't count against it.
Josiah Murphy
Second this, interesting question
Asher Parker
Yes. You give them the order to shoot
Owen Miller
After Golem, inspect a glitching ad She might "help" you later, depending on what you tell her to do.
Jackson Gray
That's why I said "probably". I'm still paranoid after trying to save everyone in Hell's Kitchen in the original game.
I've seen them becoming hostile firsthand. The info about ruining Foxiest is from Steam forum threads. I just reloaded and avoided using it on my clean run just to be sure
James Anderson
She's not in the cell, she's in q tiny apartment room in the market
Parker Green
Shit son, this shit out already? Can i torrent it? Where it's at
Cameron Parker
Nah I did all the sidequests, just never bothered to visit Koller during curfew.
Also, I did try to play through the Dvali theatre somewhat stealth fully using takedowns and Tesla coils on the Dvali, but got into a pretty rough shoot out when trying to sneak into the building. Murdered both leader for the sake of doing so though. Stabbed Otar to death and put a bullet through Radovich's skull.
David Stewart
Foxiest is specifically about triggering alarms, for the alarm to sound you need to fail a hack, cross the red laser or let npc push the alarm button.
Ian Carter
It's available right now to anyone with a bank account or credit card account. You must have money in these accounts however. You do have a job or stable income right?
Daniel Gray
This fucking game is hidden with more content than a MGS game.
Nathan James
>50 hours in and still at M09 I thought this game was short?
Michael Morales
I'm talking specifically about Dvali quests, not just any sidequests Just beating up everyone at theater at your own will is not considered a quest, i did it too.
Jordan Butler
I had that black chick from the smuggler side mission. Gave Irenka some Neropyzene in Golem and never heard from Edward again.
Michael Smith
You're just taking it real slow. Both my playthroughs took about 35 hours and I wouldn't say the game is short.
Andrew Adams
You fell for the meme.
Sebastian Williams
His in the sewers with samizdat, same place where police drones were making holes in some augs
Leo Sanchez
actually separation is valid tactic, ask Staling worked fine with USSR republics
Jason Edwards
>- (RARE BUG) Using the drill in GARM facility can break Foxiest of Hounds This is not a bug, using the controls sets off a silent alarm. This is why the dude contacts you over the intercom system.
Jason Garcia
It's in the other hub, silly.
That's fascinating.
Joshua Watson
yeah I did all the sidequests, including the Dvali ones.
Nicholas Morgan
>Needs to be checked: >- letting Singh die in Dubai (probably doesn't count, but need to be sure) I saved Singh and got Foxiest of Hounds.
>- ending choice: does only saving the delegates or dealing with bombs work? (both obviously works) I used the kill-switch and then saved the delegates and got Foxiest of Hounds.
David Martinez
yeah, and it set off alarm anyway when I came through the tunnel even though I bullshited him
Colton Reyes
so the bar lady saves him?
Grayson Butler
This is probably because: >- Contacting Miller in GARM facility leads to a scripted alarm
Ayden Hall
>when I came through the tunnel Shouldn't have contacted Miller.
Gabriel Phillips
That's the point, the game is about segregation, the golem is a place for agus, cops send augs there to segregate them from naturals, that's why "cops moving augs out of Golem" is completely fucking retarded and goes against everything this game is about.
Liam Young
That's bullshit. I used the drill on my FotH playthrough.
Landon Lewis
nope, called vega
Robert Clark
OH FUCK brb reloading an older save to check it out.
Isaiah Howard
let me explain, you separate faction into smaller groups to make control of said groups easier
If they leave all augs together they have army at the doors that can overrun Prague Propaganda will be in full swing to unite, even those that didn't want to fight will eventually join the cause
James Russell
You're probably exploring everything/checking every corner/hacking every terminal. I do that too. I'm about 20 hours in and I only did SM 1-4.
Most people don't play that way.
Noah Campbell
If you didn't go full pacifist on your first playthrough, then you're a bitch
Lincoln Reed
to add some history examples, it's a valid tactic used by every totalitarian regime on the planet, and it works
chechens in ussr forcefully separated and moved away from their homes tatars in crimea moved on the other end of the country and separated there even further into smaller pieces that can't revolt
i'm bad with chinese names but they did the same thing in 50s
then there is africa slavery which was pretty much the same thing - pitting smaller faction against each other while poaching slaves left and right dindus from different tribes sold each other to white man etc.
Lucas Bennett
There are 75 eBooks. I thought I explored everything, but still ended up missing 20 of them
Jose Williams
If you went full pacifist on your first playthrough, then you're not immersing yourself into the role just for a shitty achievement.
Tyler Richardson
Fuck.
Where do they hide them?
Nathaniel Ward
>tfw no option to suck his dick
Brody Rogers
So the only way for him to survive is to not get involved? This fucking game.
what role? game pretty much steers you into pacifist run, I usually go balistics at some point but I didn't in this gamereally wanted to kill mafia dudes though
Joseph Lee
You get chewed out if you ever go loud.
Adrian Ramirez
I'm still pissed that I didn't get foxiest of hounds AND pacifist for contacting miller while at GARM.
Oh well. Time for high octane I Didn't Ask For This playthrough to get it.
