That game is based, faggot. Treasure made it.

>tfw Bleach crashed so hard we'll never get any more games after the mobile one
>tfw we'll never get a game where you create your own soul reaper and get to customize your zanpakuto and it's spirit and abilities

jokes on you OP this game is fucking awesome

I'm still upset about the ending

Not because of the shitty shipping but because it left so many loose ends open and fucked characters personalities, specially Chad

That is the best Dark Souls

so you got a better game than the one you wanted?
Is that the joke?

Kubo going silent makes me believe than more than just unpopular weekly poll, he actually got into trouble with his editors/the magazine staff.

>People still defending Bleach

What? Are you going to tell me Naruto is actually a good series too?

...why did Chad exist?

Did he at all affect the plot?

but user
you don't understand
it's all just aizen bankai
this ride will never ends

I think in the grand scheme of things Naruto was ultimately the "better" series.

>tfw shonen jump fucked kubo out of ending bleach the way he wanted
>tfw kubo didn't just let yhwach win

>Did he at all affect the plot?

He was going to but then lolkubo happened

>...why did Chad exist?
Because the floor felt lonely.

its good for the first 100 manga chapters

>tfw shonen jump fucked kubo out of ending bleach the way he wanted

He had 4 YEARS TO FINISH IT

So what? sales were still good on a worldwide level. No reason to stop milking it.

Bleach will always be wasted potential: the series.

Those first 30 or so chapters are still fantastic.

The biggest loose end of all was he fucking Soul King. I'm willing to let a lot slide but how could he just ignore the very concept of it within the last two chapters. Who's the new Soul King?! How has the very fabric of reality kept its self together for ten years without completely falling apart. The ending just feels like a big fuck you.

So in the end it was Ichigo's kid that finally killed Ywach?

>The ending just feels like a big fuck you.
Because it supposedly was. Rumours from nipland are that Kubo wrote the last chapters just to piss off everyone so the sales of the last volume will tank.

I liked it better when it was called Yu Yu Hakusho

Bleach was originally rejected by Jump but Toriyama said to just keep drawing and eventually Bleach was published

Bleach ended after aizens defeat.

i liked it better when it was called saint seiya

bleach was influenced by jojo and seiya i think

Bleach was clearly a YYH rip off. Even had it's own Chapter Black.

yes like how ichigo revived with long hair in the ulqoirra fight is the same with yusuke vs sensui fight

Definitely had the better "highs".

And the lead up to THE LAST movie helped a lot.

Kubo must of really gotten pissed at the higher up eh?

Why does Jump always make retard decision?

I distinctly recall hearing one day that Kubo had to change the start of Bleach because it was too much like YYH.

Naruto isn't good but that being said, Naruto is leagues better than Bleach.
Kubo is an amazing artist but if he ever decides to draw another manga, he needs to hire a writer.
I think he loves fashion and creating character designs too much to focus on a plot. Every arc there were 500 new characters introduced that did nothing and were forgotten just as quick.

how so?

I used to play this game with my 3 other autist friends

>tfw I only play Menos Grande
>just spam beams and lane hop, rinse and repeat
>he's so fucking big that everyone tries to kill you

>Naruto isn't good but that being said, Naruto is leagues better than Bleach.
Naruto was a waste of time. It starts as a "your destiny is up to yourself" and end with "everything is solved because you are the reincarnation of god and it was your destiny", making the whole run moot.

That's why the first chapters of Bleach where those Hollow hunting ones. It's easier to just create new Hollows and make a short story how Ichigo battles them instead of writing a whole story arc. The Soul Society arc was still fun same with Hueco Mundo but everything after that. The whole Fullbringer arc felt like filler in the fucking manga.

>get told to continue past your intended ending because they want to keep it going as long as possible
>later get cancelled because now you're going on too long
>all the while they spend years doing nothing with the franchise aside from two shitty mobile games
Can kinda see why he would be.

In the end, how accurate was this?

And Bleach started out as "punk kid with a heart of gold who is also a ghostbuster" and transformed into "generic 'DON'T HURT MY FRIENDS' shounen protag fighting gods"
Bleach had much more potential to stay interesting but just flipped after Soul Society.

>Shitting on Bleach and praising YYH

Did you just stop reading after the Dark Tournament? At least Bleach got cancelled, the author wanted to finish it, the author of YYH just got bored of it and couldn't be bothered writing a real ending.

Flame of Recca is YYH done right.

>The whole Fullbringer arc felt like filler in the fucking manga.
Disagree. I think it was the most important arc for Ichigo's character development. Up until then he was shonen protagonisting his way through. Fullbringers was where he learned to get serious and work to kill his enemy.

That it all got forgotten in the next arc is the worst, but it was still a nice bit of character building for him.

well one piece is getting to dragon ball levels even with fodder trash
doesn't seem like it'll end just like it started

>the author of YYH just got bored of it and couldn't be bothered writing a real ending
You know that he planned for Chapter Black to be the ending but Jump forced him to keep going, right? It's the reason why he's allowed to do whatever he wants with Hunter x Hunter. They gave him a very lucrative contract to come back.

Bleach turned into everyone out-keikaku-ing everyone later on.
Naruto turned into cuck stories and failed parenting.

It was meant to be longer but it for scraped because it was recieved so poorly. That's why it was all suddenly resolved in a handful of chaptets. Another example of Kubo having a good idea but dragging the execution out so long that people got bored of it.

>ask for a great game
>get a different great game instead
I see no problem.

Neither of those are true. Sakura was the child of Salad, and, as much as Salad wants the Hokage cock, Naruto remained true to Hinata.

And Bleach didn't have any notable keikaku's after Aizen was defeated

Compared to it previously being the 3rd (and at one point 2nd) best selling and most popular manga/anime in the entire world down to being voted the worst thing in Shonen Jump's catalogue and sales tanking?

It may have been more successful than some smaller manga but it was by no means popular enough or holding enough water to keep going.

That's a great game, though. I don't like the DS Bleach games quite as much as Yu Yu Hakusho: Makyo Toitsusen before it, but they're good. Treasure did good.

they rejected attack on titan. its impossible to be published there anyways

Bleach Seasons 1-3 is still one of the best fighting anime ever fucking made. just headcanon it that after they rescue Rukia, everyone lives happily ever after and they never waste 10 years on a shitty arc involving bone mexicans.

Also Naruto has its moments. Land of Water was meh but the Chunin Exams are one of the best tournament arcs in any fighting series, and Sasuke Retrieval was great as well. Shippuden was shit tier though, awful series.

its a shit manga anyway

Even at YYH's worst and laziest, it never got as bad as Bleach. I actually like the Sensui arc more than the Dark Tournament in a lot of ways, though I hate the "you are the demons, Yusuke" reveal.

>liking Bleach at all

Bleach was a mess. All of the fights are just ass pulls.

>attack on titan

Nothing of value was lost

What was the point of Chad's powers being akin to a hollow's if Ichigo already had the inner hollow bullshit?

Why did Chad's powers manifest in a way similar to a hollow's if the other full bringer didn't, including Orihime?

Why were Orihims powers never explained when they more obviously resemble a proper full bring than Chad's?

Why did Chad himself get no evolution to his powers in the full bring arc? Why did Ichigo essentially steal his one chance at significant character development?

I liked the start of the arrancar arc, but it went to shit the second they arrived in mexico

Imagine having parents who know the name of the popular well-stocked game you want, but purposely go out of their way to find the wrong game with the same/similar name, or even just a tangentially-related premise. Like instead of a misguided but earnest grandmother, it's just your dad being a bit of a dick.

>"I found that Mario game you wanted user"
>It's a copy of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties

the only good things about the Hueco Mundo arc are that Grimmjow is based and Kurotsuchi's fight with the other crazy evil scientist is amazing.

>Flame of Recca
Is it actually any good? I've never heard much about it.

>Ichigo almost fucking dies fighting Grimmjow
>Nnoitra shows up the second he beats him and shows him he's number 5

That was pretty god desu

That's the thing with Bleach. They introduced the Captains which became more popular than the established characters. They had more screen time with fights compared to Chad and Ishida.
We could have gotten more fights and more powers instead from the captains like that ice-powered kid, that scientist dude, that assassin bitch. Kubo lost focus of the OG characters (the ones before SS arc) and just used the captains because of Bankai.

Fucking THIS. It should've ended after the Rescue arc. I've been saying it since 10th grade.

>best selling and most popular manga/anime
Bleach anime was never big
Also your relative data is irrelevant and avoid the hard real numbers, the only that matter.

So, what happend to Kon and Nelliel?

They nearly rejected a manga that actually made millions copies of sales and became one of their iconic series.

Rescue arc was okay. Vizards were ok because they expanded the Shinigami stuff, Fullbringers were unnecessary.

forgotten

He introduced Ichigo to the Fullbringers.

I think that's the only thing of worth he ever did.

It's a really good, consistent battle manga. The characters are enjoyable, the plot doesn't waste your time and it doesn't pull any bullshit or filler arcs.

It really is YYH done right. Absolutely recommend.

The manga at least, I've heard the anime isn't so good, but I've never seen it.

What happened to Doge? Did he dead?

>tfw one piece doesnt even get that

Soul Society Arc was breddy gud. After that, everything went to shit, similar to Naruto. Best arc was Team 7 vs. Zabuza and maybe Shippuden up till after Sasori

>It really is YYH done right

But YYH was absolutely fantastic up until the last arc which was shit. Dark Tournament is still the best tournament arc, Sensui was brilliant in the manga but they fucked up the arc in the anime adaptation.

Doge survived two wars and returned home to his wife and kids after several tours.

Doge became family man.

i think we're due for another update

Honestly, I'd take that over Dark Souls. I fucking loved that Bleach game. Even got the sequel which was good too.

>What is One Piece Treasure Cruise

Zabuza and Haku are hype as fuck but Chunin Exams well outdo that to a depressing degree.

They put all the best fights into one arc pretty much back to back to back, series peaked at 3rd Hokage versus Orochimaru.

>Not wanting Plumbers Don't Wear Ties.

you know this is the case for every single jump series. im not sure how you start a jump series and not fully understand it could possibly go on forever.

>Bleach's first arc was supposed to be way longer
>The human characters were supposed to be more developed
>Tatsuki was supposed to have powers
>Jump rushed kubo

One Piece was such a good ride. Too bad it takes so fucking long to shit actually happen.

Someday I'll follow the whole Don Flamingo island shit, but not now.

YYH was great, but had a bullshit ending and some real asspulls.

I'm not saying YYH is bad, I've read it, I've watched it, I've played the awesome SNES fighting games. I'm just saying Flame Of Recca takes the ball that YYH drops and runs with it.

It tells a very similar story with a more fleshed out cast (looking now, honestly, many of the YYH cast don't hold up well in a full story) and takes the story to a really satisfying conclusion.

No dropped character arcs (Boten), no dropped story arcs (Everything after Sensui) and all loose ends tied up (See above).

Hell, it even goes out of its way and kills off Nobunaga, that's always nice.

But Chapter Black was great. It was a pretty dark arc.
3 kings was the fuck up and it had great potential.

I think the last arc is a lot better than the premise implies, especially in the anime which fleshes things out a bit. Yusuke being a demon--let alone the descendent of a super-special-most-powerful-demon-ever guy--is still pretty bullshit, but the arc grounds it in his experience growing up and trying to figure out who he is.

I still really hate that demon twist, though.

>Add super saiyan blue with god Ki
>Can't damage anyone with god ki unless you also have god ki
>Turn out super saiyan 2 Future trunk is on par with Goku also anyone can hurt gods now
It's just Retcons: The manga at this point

>I've played the awesome SNES fighting games
Play Makyo Toitsusen for the Genesis. It's fantastic. Especially with a couple friends.

My ninja
youtu.be/Psr4rq-ICu8

Well, let me recommend you Flame of Recca then. If you enjoyed YYH, you'll probably love it.

Even Toriyama got fucked. Wanted Dragonball to end right before Z and they made him keep going.
Wanted it to end after Frieza and they made him keep going.
He fucking killed off the main character at the end of Cell and they still made him keep going.
Jump is a fucking cancer to creativity. If you make money, they'll milk you til you're dry.

Literally the only good thing about that arc was Hiei and his romance with Mukuro, and maybe Yomi who was alright.

But it is unforgivable, I am still TRAUMATIZED by how shitty Kurama's fight is. LOL I PLANTED THESE SEEDS 10,000 YEARS AGO IN THIS -EXACT- SPOT IN CASE I EVER CAME BACK HERE ALL ACCORDING TO KEIKAKU ;) OUTPLAYED

To this very day I can't find a single thing worse than it in any anime or manga I've seen. Not a single thing is lower than that, that is the low point of all anime and manga in general.

i heard they are just undoing the concept of power levels

much easier to write fights if everyone is even, then it comes down to technique which makes for a more interesting watch

>yusuke is a demon is bullshit
To be fair, this is probably the first time in any anime we had a reveal like that.

Yeah, the plot fucking sucks and it's annoying to see it milked again after so long, but, it is nice seeing Goku and Vegeta acting like buddies.

>mfw Vegeta has to ask his wife's permission to travel to the future with Goku

Ok, I'll check it out

>regular ussop
>Sogeking
>Godsopp

How did everything so so right?

>planted seeds decades before the battle
Wait, are you sure that's what happened?

>Wanted Dragonball to end right before Z and they made him keep going.
>Wanted it to end after Frieza and they made him keep going.
>He fucking killed off the main character at the end of Cell and they still made him keep going.
Gonna need sauce on these, because the only "intended ending" I've ever seen any proof for was the interview where Toriyama says that he originally planned to end it after they summoned the dragon for the first time, but it became an unexpected hit so they kept going.

Probably not, but either way it's still stupid and bullshit. It comes out of nowhere. He dies, but then comes back to life because as it turns out he's a demon. And then he gets a huge power boost because he's not only a demon, he's the descendent of the most powerful demon alive. It's pretty stupid.

It's what he says in the anime. not even decades, I do believe he says something that's in the hundreds or thousands.

I know the anime is worse than the manga overall but it's been a LONG TIME since I've read the manga version, maybe it's different in that, but I do know in the anime it's retarded.
