Kill yourself shill

never really liked that raid in the first place but hey this is still better than ffxiv x)

Reddit, leave.

>THE ENTIRE FUCKING RAID IS REHASHED WITH NO CHANGES TO ITS LEVEL DESIGN OUTSIDE OF 2 ROOMS (stairway and the chess room)
>LITERALLY ALL THE MUSIC IS REHASHED
>LITERALLY ALL THE ENEMIES USE EXISTING MODELS AND TEXTURES (THERE'S EVEN A LITERAL GREYSCALE VERSION OF FREYA FROM ULDUAR)
>MEDIVH IS EVIL AGAIN BECAUSE REASONS AND USES HIS OLD TBC MODEL

>This is somehow OK

And the Suramar stuff is literally cut content that was supposed to be there on release but was arbitrarily cut so they could cram it into a patch and make the patch seem like it has more content than it actually does.

holy fuck
gaming is saved!

take your content and...and...
jam it in!

Oh and don't even get me started on that entire fucking zone they cut (Thal'Dranath).
It's Farahlon all over again.

They've been doing nothing but cutting content left and right since WotLK but WotLK had minimal cuts, while Cataclysm and onwards had massive severe cuts, WoD especially.

oh cool man, i didn't know you could play it yet. How is it?

I'm sorry, I still don't give a fuck.

The trailer showcases the raid you imbecile. All the encounters (and thus rooms they take place in).

>HD remasters of dungeons is a thing now
Holy fuck i hate WoW.

>A LITERAL GREYSCALE VERSION OF FREYA

So you literally never ran Karazhan and you complain that they're reusing it?

youtube.com/watch?v=YxiofX97_G0

>All the encounters

except it didn't? there's 13 bosses, video shows 7 (counting 3 if they have the play as seperate bosses again)

The library room medivh stands in
The upside down area
The chess room
Completely changed stairway
Whatever that portal that you jump in to is (Though to be fair that likely leads to the upside down area)

Show me where the trailer shows "Every single boss! Every single room!"

>HD remasters of dungeons is a thing now

This isn't new, they started doing this in Cata

>If content takes too long people complain about droughts
>If it comes too fast people complain that it was just cut content that they held on to

No winning with Sup Forums or /vg/

They even started doing this in Wrath when they entirely rehashed Naxx.

Oh god those replies why did I look at youtube replies

well yea but youd think theyd highlight any new stuff in a trailer in order to get people hyped

>yfw if they add in the old legendary staff for druids that allows opening a portal there but upgraded

>tfw you wanna play this so badly, but you don't have the time

I think it looks good but then again I'm not a massive faggot.

>leftovers
No thanks.

>I'm not a massive faggot.
But you are massive faggot.

How can I be a massive faggot if you are a massive faggot? there can only be one massive faggot and that is you.

Naxx rehash was a last minute decision when they decided to retool Utgarde into a dungeon instead of raid. In the beta Utgrade was the big starting raid.

Suramar is literally known cut content since it and Thaldranath were literally announced on Blizzcon and were supposed to be on release.
If it was content that wasn't shown on Blizzcon people wouldn't be pissed about it, but it is and ergo is obviously cut content.

>First major patch is a slightly tweaked BC raid made into a 5man

>Odyn

kek

Blizzard running low on the originality tank

who the fuck still plays this piece of shit? WoW should have died years ago.

>How can I be a massive faggot if you are a massive faggot?
Wut? I never bought Diablo III and paid fo subscription.

>people are shitting on a return to fucking Karazhan with 13 bosses
This is the best patch we've gotten in ages.

>Tweaked means half the raid was changed and the returning bosses have changed mechanics
Sure. Also,

>Stormheim raid

>mfw never played WoW so all I can do is laugh at the cucklords still playing this shit 15 years later

>WotLK had minimal cuts

they cut the entire underground nerubian zone and the first raid was literally just moved from vanilla

>druids
Atiesh was universal for all spellcasters, as in it gave you a version specific to your class on which you completed the questline on.

>karazhan
hey I remember that from some years ago

>they cut the entire underground nerubian zone and the first raid was literally just moved from vanilla
Azjol Nerub zone wasn't cut, it literally never got out of concept stage and they never advertised it. On WotLK's on blizzcon reveal they said they wanted to do Azjol Nerub but they couldn't make an underground zone work while being connected to the world above and that it existing underground would cut into performance as you'd be basically rendering two zones at ones (kinda like Crysis 2 water fiasco).

With that said, what they did cut was Azjol Nerub raid which we were supposed to get in its place with Anubarak as final boss. Instead we got two dungeons (probably spliced together from assets they made for the raids).

Utgarde was a raid in beta, they had the whole thing done so it's not cut content but retooled content. Activision demanded more dungeons so Utgarde was retooled into two dungeons while Naxx was brought over because fanservice and most liked vanilla raid.

>Hey guys remember how great the old expansions were? This new raid sure is a blast from the past eh?
>Yeah, how about you make some legacy servers?
>Legacy whats? I don't know what you're talking about. Old WoW was terrible, you don't want that.

why is blizzard like this?

^ I believe that blizzard said all this, but what kind of stupid shit excuse is this

>couldn't make an underground zone work while being connected to the world above and that it existing underground would cut into performance as you'd be basically rendering two zones at ones

why would both zones have to be "run" at the same time? if it was underground all you'd see is the brown dirt ceiling of the underground city, what the fuck does the zone above it have to do with anything?

Even if they wanted holes/tunnels in the ground they could just put zoning swirls, why would that make or break the existence of the zone?

That's bullshit, because both dungeons have enough excess territory you can't reach to make at least make a partially complete zone.

There were probably issues with phasing at that point that making an underground zone would still run parallel to the area above it, meaning it would run both below ground and above ground zones at once. They could do it now, but doing it back then would've been much harder.

Nostalgiafags are impossible to please. The only way you people would be happy is if you had a fucking time machine and went back.

>Nostalgiafags are impossible to please.
>source: my ass

Again, not calling you a liar, but why wouldn't it just exist like any other zone, completely separate? Like zoning into a dungeon, what does phasing have to do with anything?

*Source: Pretty much any WoW thread heard.

FTFY

>use nvidia geforce experience (TM) to optimize graphics for WoW
>Your World of Warcraft installation is damaged

They didn't want to phase a whole zone again to not repeat the mistake of Quel'Thalas I guess.
People still give them this about Quel'Thalas to this day.

>Excess territory
Not to play devil's advocate but you do realize they had to have some scenery as well right? Kinda like entirety of Hellfire Ramparts lets you see most of the zone around it, like Icecrown Citadel lets you see Icecrown, Ulduar lets you see Storm Peaks etc.

maybe you should go do some research about software and hardware and how it relates to development and consumer.

Also consider how that process and technology has changed with time.

user, just because you don't see something doesn't mean it's not rendered (as in loaded to memory with all its textures etc).

Everything that's within the draw distance radius will be drawn and you can't get around it. People's computers back then would suffocate and who knows if the engine would even be able to handle it back then since it didn't even support more than 4GB ram back then.

Or, they simply didn't finish the zone and retooled it as two dungeons.

Both instances include each other in terms of map, just taking place in different portions of it. The map itself is massive.
