There isn't anything wrong with playing shotos in this game, there wasn't anything wrong with playing shotos in SF4, and there wasn't anything wrong with playing shotos in any Street Fighter before that. 100000 completing the story and all the trial modes will net you a few characters. Survival is a bitch with the 1 round mod gone but there's enough fightmoney in there to last you forever if you can put up with it
