Never understood the dislike for Snow. Did people hate him calling himself a hero that much? Even the whole Hopes mother dying shit wasn't his fault.

I always liked him regardless. Sazh and Snow were the only characters I liked from 13.

Think the problem is FF2 isn't really loved by that many people. So I feel they will just go with a quick thing for it and Maria. Hell if it wasn't for FF3 DS/PSP the Hero of Light in that game wouldn't have any names. Which would have been confusing with FF1.

Looking like a comfy simple fun JRPG. Hell this feels more like your traditional JRPG than even Bravely Default.
Think they didn't want to burden with too many nameless warriors. And Warrior of Light tends to be the "main character" for FF1.
