2 is alright but not as good as 1. 3 is garbage, do not play it. Don't.

Well for what it is worth, you still go through the single player experience. It is based on Pointman once again though.
Fettel is basically following you around through the whole thing however and doesn't bring anything to gameplay at all in comparison to if a human was playing as him. Most people are going to tell you 3 is shit anyway tho

It actually is, but not by a lot. There's a fair bit of fluff to the dialogue but they actually are decently smart.
It's not as ultra advanced as people make it out to be but levels are designed around the AI and it shows in gameplay.
