And what about Triple Deluxe? I haven't played a kirby game since Amazing Mirror and I was wondering if they're worth getting

They're both pretty good and similar enough. Triple Deluxe does have hypernova sections however which many agree is a thing that's only amusing the first time through a level, and then it's just pace breaking padding in later playthroughs. Aside from that, it's fucking solid. Robobot's more of the same but hypernova got replaced with the robot which is much better since it's more similar to an animal friend from Dream Land 2/3, just limited to certain sections of certain levels.
They also have True Arenas that are hard as balls compared to the main game which is what trips everybody up when the games came out. Robobot's is especially brutal for never giving any Max Tomatoes.
They're also cool with references to past games, which may or may not seem cool to you. I personally like the way it's done myself since they don't rely on nostalgia too much. That said, Robobot does reference Triple Deluxe once or twice so if you plan on both, you may as well play Triple Deluxe first if you can deal with hypernova.

I don't think anyone called it bad, just that supposedly it's not a damage machine in Robobot like it was in Super Star/Ultra. Which I found out is lies because a well-timed jet cracker usually depletes about a fourth of a boss's health. Rocket diving a gold Susie bot into Haltmann's face was hands down the best thing I will ever do in a Kirby game.

How are the 3DS games? Multiplayer and co-op games have been my life, so I'm kinda bummed that they are only single player. Kirby was usually great with that. There is always Kirby Fighters, but I don't know much I can squeeze out of that.
