I played earlier today. Crafting system seemed incredibly rudimentary, like, NMS-tier rudimentary where there were basically only 3 main ingredients, fuel metal and wood
It also seemed incredibly pointless. I know it's alpha but they're planning on a 2016 release with this shit? Yeah, good luck with that. The game needs *a lot* of work

yeah it feels like half of the inventory system is just a placeholder, and the lack of goals is a big issue too, but so far i'm enjoying it a ship building game.
Hopefully they add a lot more to it, that would make me want to buy it.

According to their forums the que was just a test of the queing system, there isn't one anymore.
You need one of those atlas generators, an engine, a steering wheel, and a fuel source. I don't think you NEED wings but they make steering bearable.

i also should not have really described it as survival, it's more of a PvP sandbox where people fight eachother with sick air ships. it's actually a decently unique game and there is some gameplay on youtube if you want to see what it's all about.

The only thing that is pre-defined is the hull, and there are only two (small and a large). everything else is placed by the ship owner.
