It's not for lack of people who bought it. Battleborn peaked at 12,000 players. The problem is that their game is shit and no one wanted to keep playing it.

Hell, the humble bundle numbers dropped off after only a few weeks. It's obvious that Battleborn is a shit game and it would have failed regardless of whether or not Blizzard shat on it.

Cant be the game of the year, it was made by people who made Boringlands and funded by 2k. Neither company can put out a solid product. Even GTA doesnt want to be associated with 2k

It's a perfectly functional game and if it wasn't up against Overwatch and its array of waifus it would be doing fine. Gearbox should've delayed it until August or September so competition wouldn't be so direct.

It's said when killing a female character, so I guess it's supposed to be like "we're equal so it doesn't matter that I'm beating you" but considering Gearbox's track record with gender politics it's easy to misconstrued as shameless political shilling.
