Most if not all reputation based forums see this kind of progression, some see it faster than others but they all experience this centralisation where the boards 'undesirable' or 'problematic' narratives and often entire sections of forums are slowly erased and forfeited to adhere to political correctness which is encforced by people who truly believe in it.

This board is one of the few places on the internet left where you can speak your mind freely and can expect others to share theirs without any hindrance to dress the truth because there is zero incentive or social obligation to lie to one another. The general quality of discussion on websites like this however is generally lower though which is the price you pay, especially when compared to neogaf. The quality of their threads are vastly superior to here.

Now the problem and the main reason why websites succumb to hardcore political correctness is because of the moderators, that's it. 90% of internet moderators are really fucked up people, the type of self righterous slimeball who got bullied in school and ends up becoming modding because it gives him power. Sadly it's those people who have passion and drive to push their own and usually sjw narratives and because they are simply more motivated than average hoe they end up in positions of power and end up shaping the face of the online communities.

Laziness from those with common sense is why SJWism will eventually rule the internet

It is but even then, the quality of their discussions is still so much fucking better than here, two word posts are generally frowned upon there and you are encouraged to make decent quality posts where there is none of that here. On here its almost as if a quality post is fined by how well you can bait someone with the least amount of words or with simply a picture
