Already bought, senpai
I'm going to marry Kyros!
Bought it already, I would trust Paradox and Obsidian with my life, Great VG companies.
>Pillars of Eternity engine
>SJW writers
>Pay 40 bucks for a 20 hours long game
>No romance
>You're supposed to be evil but you most likely won't even be able to rape anyone
Stop shilling this garbage
pre-ordered, costed me 30 bucks
Dumb baitposter
People who use reaction images this garbage should be fucking shot.
Pick three.
Note that you can have anyone on your party even if they're from a faction that opposes you, provided you inspire enough loyalty or fear in them.
Sirin, Verse, Eb
Waifu brigade all the way.
>No romance
You are responsible for the cancer of modern bioware bullshit
Barik, Lantry, Sirin
Barik is for broing and smelling like caked shit
Lantry is for being worldly and cool
Sirin is for bullying
>Not possible to have an all male party
GG sjws
>no console version no buy
Obsidian write the best romances, though.
Is there going to be a better part of the game than gently bullying Sirin?
>Pillars of Eternity engine
Good, PoE was great in every aspect.
>SJW writers
Wrong. The femae writer has actually good taste in vidya and Sawyer is not involved (even though he's no SJW in the first place).
>No romance
This is actually good.
>You're supposed to be evil
You're not, the game will have multiple gamepaths, just like MotB did, including a neutral one, I'm 99.9% sure.
>Pay 40 bucks for a 20 hours long game
It's 20 hours per walkthrough and you will need multiple walkthroughs to experience all the content, just like in Age of Decadence.
do you play as a tranny in this game
That was understated garbage that was barely present, and was still almost absent with restored content. Not to mention that it's based purely on loyalty, meaning almost all players end up having a "romance" with both her and Handmaiden.
If you want romances, stick to some other bullshit RPG. I've been fucking LOVING the fact that all the new CRPGs have had zero fucking romance.
>PoE now has its own FFXVkun
No trans party member = no buy
You are as a child before my power
What's up with the sudden influx of Tranny threads? Obsidian shill brigade?
>four (four) visible diamonds on the card
2spooky
Who the fuck is FFXV-kun? I don't follow your weebshit threads.
pre-order PoE had daily threads as well
they were arguably more lively with Ederposting everywhere, though
>image
You got all that for €30?
I'm willing to give Obsidion another chance, maybe they learned something from PoE
30 American dollars (119 złotych)
soundtrack and artbook included, also free delivery to whichever shithole you live in including Eastern Poland
>I would trust Paradox with my life
>after eu4 and hoi4
You don't value your life much i see
>water mage named Eb
>mage using voice calles Sirin
>Kills-in-Shadow
Top quality creativity right there.
PoE had at least some semblance of hype behind it from KS campaign. Tyranny had zero threads since the first reveal and now we get them daily along with PoE apologism.
codexers should be executed
w-why
>no rape
>no romance rape
>SJW
>cuck
>Anita
>tumblr
Kek. Maybe when they release rape-DLC.
It's almost every thread. I start to suspect it's a scam.
grymel.pl
nuh-uh my melanine enriched brother
But that's only in Poland. I thought would had it too.
Cenega releases games in Czechia and Slovakia as well
it's closely tied with Russian 1C for some disconcerning reasong
I don't, but I think EU4 is ok and don't own HOI4.
>That was understated garbage that was barely present, and was still almost absent with restored content.
Just because it was told through understatement doesn't mean it's garbage; I actually quite liked the subtext of romance in KotOR II as a whole. And I didn't just mean that game, either - MotB had one of the best love stories I've found.
>Not to mention that it's based purely on loyalty, meaning almost all players end up having a "romance" with both her and Handmaiden.
This is a problem why?
What, do you just not like romance in vidya?
MotB had a very PoE love story, after all you and Safiya are just a reflection of Akachi and the Founder
this is terrible
I mean, it's a videogame, I'm not expecting too much from the writing in general, but this is atrocious
Negan would be proud.

>f a v o r i t e s :
>Fallout 3, BioShock, Final Fantasy 12, Borderlands 2, Portal 2, Saints Row 3, Tales from the Borderlands, Monster Hunter Tri, Catherine, Alice: Madness Returns, Valkyria Chronicles, The Wolf Among Us, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Halo: Reach, Minecraft, Castle Crashers
I think that's why it's my favourite - the two of you were literally made for each other, after all, and yet the whole point of your story is that while you might be reflections of Akachi and the Founder, that's not /all/ you are.
Especially once you get closer to her and she explains how she's falling in love with you, and then you meet the Founder.
>Catherine
>Valkyria Chronicles
I was on the fence about Tyranny before but I'm definitely getting it now. Thanks, user.
Fallout 3: shit
Bioshock: good
FF12: decent
Borderlands 2: shit
Portal 2: good
Saints Row 3: shit
more Borderlands: shit
MHT: good
Catherine: good
Alice: good
VC: good
The Wolf Among Us: good
Baldur's Gate: good
Halo Reach: shit
Minecraft: shit (today)
Castle Crashers: good
10/16 not horrible
Fallout 3 was objectively better than Fo2.
>Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
What the actual fuck is this shit? Can't handle real cRPG?
Fuck I want to play this so bad, but I'm afraid my toaster won't handle it. PoE was running sluggishly on medium settings, and this is supposed to have more advanced graphics.
Shit
there's not a single isometric party-based cRPG on her list
yknow the kind of game she's writing for
Have you ever looked into a career in comedy, user?
Well. It mainly was sarcasm directed at codexers and vpol offshoot. Like, did they complain that witchery 3 wasnot dark enough because you couldn't rape.
You don't need to have all 4 people. You can go with just 3 if you git gud
>'shill' the post
>le we go for replayability, because we cant write a long interesting story
The red flags keep comin up..
And I was looking forward to it when it was announced.
Maybe she just preferred ARPGs at the time? She'd be old enough to have played it as a kid.
>more Borderlands
>he means Tales from the Borderlands
>shit
You are some retarded monkey.
>Tyranny had zero threads since the first reveal
It had a few here and there, but most of us didn't care because the game didn't have a release date and most of us expected it to get delayed.
>and now we get them daily
Release date announced, it's out in less than a month from the day it was announced, no surprise there's a big surge in hype.
>along with PoE apologism
Pillars of Eternity was a great game, my man.
Not even graphomaniac's favourite: Planescape.
>le we go for replayability, because we cant write a long interesting story
You say that as if that's a bad thing. Age of Decadence was great. Eat shit.
FO3 was cohesive story wise. When fo2 released it was steaming a pile of bug turd. Don't get me started on that atrocious tutorial which became almost impossible if you didn't roll melee at all.
And fo2 was filled with easter egg after easter egg, to a point which it almost seemed like it's there to smoke the lack of content.
>reductive, meme criticism gets a pass but an actual response is derided as 'shill: the post'
Dumb baitposter
MotB would be lucky to be 20 hours.
Favourite games do not equal experience. So you're saying that you would only want writers whose favourite games are CRPGs, that's the metric of quality you'd use?
>MotB would be lucky to be 20 hours.
MotB was not a full game.
Cost 40 bucks, though. And Neverwinter Nights 2 with no expansions is shit.
MotB was a little expansion pack and not a 40$ game, you sperk
Then where is Diablo?
I fear that this list is not her favourite RPGs, but actually all the RPGs she had played.
There's nothing wrong at all with a majority female cast.
Game and writing still looks like absolute shit, that's an actual problem.
To be fair, you could finish Ultima IV I 20-30h.
What do you think is gonna be better, Tyranny or Torment: Tides of Numenera?
>FO3 was cohesive story wise
Stop, user. You're launching my sides into orbit at mach 5.
Torment better be better, considering all the promises they have made. This came out of nowhere and didn't even need its own kickstarter.
I'm not confident it'll be that great now Avellone has left Obsidian. Durance was by miles the best writing in PoE and the rest of the game was pretty luke warm.
Plus Tyranny was originally his idea and he's not being a part of it.
At least I tried to bait.
Got response / 5
Except it cost 40 bucks at release too, you dumb turd.
we're talking about the same wop who considers KotOR1 to be superior to KotOR2
Avellone did finish Tyranny with them even though he left the company.
Avellone was involved in the pre-production of the game so he definitely influenced it. We'll see.
Reminder that Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky are the leads for a secret project at Obsidian.
It's not the same to me as character writing. Some of the preview short stories we're seeing on news updates are meh in the extreme.
It was still a fantastic, interesting, well-written story (even accounting for the restrictions imposed on them by the publishers) and it would've cost a similar amount at release - $30-$40.
It's just now faggots think if an AAA game gives them 100+ hours of 'content' charging $40 for twenty hours of quality is overpriced.
Diablo is a PC game, Dark Alliance a console game. Wouldn't it make sense that she played it growing up, and that's why it's one of her favourites?
I didn't play either of the Fallouts or and of the Baldur's Gate games until I was a teenager, and as much as I like them now I wouldn't call them a favourite - MotB and KotOR II I would, though, 'cause I played them when they came out, when I was younger.
I enjoyed all of them but the one about the beastwoman. I guess I'm not as demanding when it comes to writing.
both are failures
Fargo laughs at them from his pile of gold
>Favourite games do not equal experience. So you're saying that you would only want writers whose favourite games are CRPGs, that's the metric of quality you'd use?
Favourite games say a lot about person.
For example, I really liked Gothic, Baldur's Gate 2 and NWN (with all sequels and expansions), but dropped Planescape, Arcanum and Morrowind after 30 minutes of gameplay.
what are you, a slavshit?
>making a new Bards Tale game of all fucking things, probably making Zeits work on it
>not just letting Zeits do whatever the fuck he wants
Fargo is a fucking madman.
>Fallout, Arcanum, The Temple of Elemental Evil and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
>Failures
Pick one and only one
>what are you, a slavshit?
More like Germancuck. Morrowind used to be one of the most popular games in slavshitland.
Troika games were failures
1$ for 1 hour of entertainment should be the minimum for a cRPG and its just half of that.
Wew.
Combine that with retarded cooldown based spells in combat and the poor writing a la "beastwoman whos badass" and you have a shit game.
>Zeits came up with the gods of Pillars of Eternity
>Now he's stuck on Inxile
Hope he's working on Torment and nothing else
What's with the constant shilling of this game here?
So why is MotB acceptable if it doesn't fit your arbitrary value? Is it a shit game too?
Just imagine, there are actual people who like Obsidian games out there. Really makes you think, huh?
Three last of them were commercial failures and even today are ridded with numerous bugs.
All great games, though. Who gives a shit on how well they sold? That's completely irrelevant to their quality.
le not a full game so its exempt ;)
also le nusidian :)
>Who gives a shit on how well they sold?
game dev is a business like any other
I think I'm just jaded. And I can't recall many others aside from Avellone doing interesting stuff with personal beliefs which is his bread and butter.
Yes, but we're not discussing our thoughts on investing in Obsidian stocks, we're discussing their games.
Durance was great, but I also enjoyed Edér, Zahua, Thaos and the pantheon (including their story in the expansion)
Avellone is a great writer, but I think there are others that can be attributed to the quality of Pillars.
>whole game is utter shit because of one badly written companion
Welp, better throw all CRPG's into the garbage then. It's amazing how people will latch on to one negative and use it to justify that the whole game is unredeemable trash, this Tortanic mentality is so fucking cancerous. Also anyone posting 'shill' should be permanently banned.
both Troika and Obsidian games are notoriously buggy
from my point of view it's unacceptable, after all I don't pay to deal with developers' inaneness but for some reason there's this strange cult of neckbeards who like this sloppy game process
notice that all Troika games have rushed endings that are a chore to play through, many Obsidian games do as well - is it quality to you?
No its not, but your statement is easy to say now that we know.
If we were back in the day before it came out, I'd say the same shit about it just like I say now about Tyranny, namely that there are massive red flags.
If the game turns out great, good.
But I think its more likely that it will turn out shit, from what I know at this point.
You know. There's a reason why troika doesn't exist anymore. Employers who have to feed their families care about it. But if you still live with you mama, I guess you don't have to.
