Partly the reason I picked up a Vita but that was only around the time yifanlu announced henkaku so piracy wasn't confirmed when I got it.

Since the Wii U has homebrew now, what are some good emulators for it (SNES,GBA,Genesis etc) that don't require using the Wii Menu?

That's the only reason I ever got a PSP. I don't think I even played PSP games on it, I just used emulators.

I bought a psp 3k for Dissidia and piracy. My gf at the time loved playing SNES games on it. I still think it was the coolest handheld ever released. Really opened my eyes to how much potential the hardware developers lock away on their devices in the name of proprietary rights/formats.

The WiiU some two years ago to pirate the vWii. I downloaded like 34 games and only finished Xenoblade Chronicles and the Metroid Prime trilogy.

This. When i got my pc up and runnin a few years ago i downloaded a shit load of emulators and games. Tried a few to see how they ran. Cool. Never played them again. Any of them. Having so much at yiur finger tips takes away the excitement of playing them.

That used to be my only reason to buy consoles. Nintendo ones were specially easy to pirate too sans GC at the time, that's why I went for PS2.

Lol I had a friend that would do that as well. But by the time I learned you could pirate the GC I already had the Wii to work with.

It's ridiculous that you have to use an SD to transfer a game. I'm sure they will come up with a program like Wii Backup Manager eventually so I can just plug my main HDD in the computer, copy the game and put the HDD back into the WiiU.
