>AMD CPU
The absolute madman

urgh

it comes with a gaming mouse and keyboard

I hope you paid GeekSquad to install your keyboard and mouse, you don't want to break your brand new machine accidentally.

geek squad is best buy, idiot

>Prebuilt

Why do you make PC jesus cry?

if you think about it, all of the parts you buy are already pre built, so you're really not "building" anything. it's basically legos at that point.

>buys a sports car
>is actually a trycicle in sports car design

>buys a gaming pc
>is actually a pile of shit in gaming pc design

this thing is WAY stronger than a ps4, i don't know why sonyggers have to shit up every thread just because they aren't pc master race.

Id refund that shit and stick with consoles, being technologically retarded is one thing, being financially retarded is another

rly make you think

This so much.

someone pcpartpicker a build for $750 thats like double better then this shit prebuilt and laugh at OP

I can't be assed

>sonyggers mad cause they can't afford pc

>Prebuilt
>being proud about sticking together 6 or 7 parts in clearly labeled slots or sockets

Ain't those the cunts who got banned by valve for rigging csgo matches?

He's just lazy and baiting people into making something for him. Or he's just that retarded.

really couldn't see it being two times better.

While you did pay more than you should have it's not outrageous or anything.
The build is certainly on the higher end than the mid end and you should get 1080 60fps for the next year or so.

I would suggest looking into how to upgrade it yourself since its not exactly a powerhouse and the "upgrades" are the cheapest part about PC gaming.

>Beeing to lazy to do even this
>If you don't like prebuilds you're automatically a sonygger

This thread is officialy bait now.
Stop replying after me.

>GTX 950
>High end

I didn't know being a step above Intel HD Graphics is considered High End

>1080 60fps
>950
Maybe on the lowest settings.

>buying an OS (there's so many ways to get one free, legally even)
>AMD CPU
>950
>eh 8 GB is fine
>eh 1 TB is fine but I bet it's some shitty HDD that'll die way sooner than it should
>I'd meme about wireless but I have to use wireless and all its shittiness due to situations outside my control so whatever
>gayming keyboard
>gaming mice are ok as long as it's not something retarded, which it probably is since you bought it from gamestop, I bet it's a laser mouse too
>for $770 + tax
>when this is a 550 dollar build at most, you could probably do that for like than 400 actually

took the bait 9/10 would take again

If you'd put that together yourself for that same amount of money you could've gotten yourself a nice i5 and a decent GPU like the 480.

I said "higher end"
The 950 isn't total shit, You can't do 4K on it but it'll do 1080.
Though I guess it has been awhile since I last really looked at the 950 though, like said you probably will have to turn the settings down and maybe compromise at 45~60

>Own PS4/Xbne
>Calls others financially retarded

>480
the 950 is almost 2 fucking times better LOL

It takes at most an hour to do a build. Yet you're throwing away hundreds of dollars because you can't do fucking LEGO.

950 is budget, not higher end.

Higher end is 970/1070, 390/480.
High end is 980/1080, Fury

But it's not.

>shipping costs
>taxes
it's not that simple. plus, you can buy pc's from gamestop off of trade credit, which isn't taxed. ez choice trading in the fucking outdated ps4(you gotta buy a pro to even come CLOSE to pc).

Top kek

I bought the parts and then paid the guys at the store to assemble them into an actual PC. I essentially paid 2-3 guys to play with the LEGO I bought. Funny how the world works.

The RX 480 is way better than a 950, it's comparable to a 970.

If you take your time to read some manuals it can take two hours

You're thinking of the 1060 (I guess?) that's about 30% stronger than a 480.

'no'

>3.5 ghz cpu, gtx 950
>770 $
>Ayyyyyyy
Ok, its not shit but you could had built one yourself much better for less the price

I'm going with your former theory, for my own sanity.

>there's so many ways to get one free, legally even
Do tell

Or you could have not spent the money on a console at all, netting negative investment which just goes back into a PC.

Guaranteed 100% if you bought your own parts at that budget, you would have better parts in almost all key areas outside a high capacity SSD.

But since you bought a console it stands to show you're not good with money, much less thinking.

You might be mistaking "480" for the GTX 480, which is certainly not as good as a GTX 950. That user was referencing AMD's RX 480 though.

>Beeing to lazy to do even this
It has nothing to do with being lazy and everything to do with it being basic shit 6 years old is able to wrap his head around, yet people treat it as if they fucking designed the chips shit's running on when they 'build' their rig.

>It takes at most an hour to do a build.
That was my fucking point. It's a trivial shit and yet people pretend like it's some high class work requiring IQ 150 or something only the 'chosen ones' can do.

>480*2 = 960 you fucking retardes

ps4 is better value than Mac/prebuilt as long as you are not a retard that buys $60 retail launch titles all the time

Student edition
Free "trials"
Borrowing
Reusing old OS's
Getting one from a business you work for

>gaming pc i bought from gamestop

>That was my fucking point. It's a trivial shit and yet people pretend like it's some high class work requiring IQ 150 or something only the 'chosen ones' can do.

They're making fun of the people that are too retarded to do it and instead choose to spend way too much money to have someone else do it.

youtube.com/watch?v=jG2KMkQLZmI

Congratulations, your jokes are either so bad or so brilliant that nobody gets them
I'm leaning towards the former

sony tricked me and many others. can't let them get away with it.

No one implied it takes brainpower. What we're saying is paying a couple hundred more for a fucking hour of convenience is utterly fucking retarded. And since you're not even buying a high performance rig, that money could be invested in better parts for just having to do an hour of trivial shit.

No one is making building a computer seem hard. Ive only seen it described as Legos or some shit like that. Your projecting pretty hard here. Did you fuck up a build once or something?

Real question.

1060 or 1070?

desu if you're an adult it's much better to pay someone for the hour of time than to waste it playing with fucking cpu paste. i'd rather spend that time gaming on a high end rig. civ 6 is pretty, btw.

Oh really?
Then allow me to make fun of every single one of you for being too retarded to program your own video games and instead paying other people to do it for you.

>implying putting together a PC isn't the most fun part of getting new hardware.

You could have built a better one for WAY cheaper.
I bet you don't even mount and balance your own tiers

>much money
>paying a couple hundred more
>couple hundred more
Is this how it works in US?
That's fucking bullshit.
Around here there's roughly 30 Euro charge for an hour of IT technician's time and 25 Euro flat charge for Windows + all the other sw garbage client wants installed (not that anyone pays that because everything for home use is pirated around here).

It really isn't if your not autistic

1070. gives you some extra room

>be adult and work for $20/hr
>pay someone 10 hours worth of work to do 1 hour of work for me
yeah your doing great buddy. if you cant handle paste you just make it clear you are too inept to build a computer

>i put my pcs together, it's fun :)
really means
>i put my dick in fleshlights

Where I'm from you choose the parts to buy and the store builds it for you free of charge.

What kind of shithole country do you live where they charge you for building the pc you bought at their store?

Neither

Volta is due in May

>be adult and work for $20/hr
>pay someone 10 hours worth of work to do 1 hour of work for me
Sucks to be USian I guess when you get ripped off so much as to pay $200 for services. For the comparison

>Volta
Can I do VR with it?

its not an IT tecnition. its a prebuilt computer. Markup on those is huge, one step under shit like alien ware which is still better than apples hardware which is the same as a PC. Anything Prebuilt has huge markup ive seen 3k computers with only a 1070

i said "adult" not fucking wageslave console cuc boi, come back to me when you make 80k per year, child.

>>pay someone 10 hours worth of work to do 1 hour of work for me
Sounds like you don't have the wit to negotiate. If you pay someone 10 hours worth of work to do 1 hour of work, then you're one retarded person. Either you come to an agreement that if you buy the parts from them, they build it for you or you pay them a small sum that you've haggled down.

thats only if you buy the parts you retard, not a prebuilt. that prebuilt is about $200 over same or equivalent parts

>build pc
>fuck up because i'm a guy that just buy laptops and is not technology inclined due to being raised by a single mom
>/v /calls me a retard
>buy prebuilt
>Sup Forums calls me a retard

>he doesn't like looking at all the new shiny parts and cleaning up some dust and then managing the cables so they look nice and clean.
>he doesn't just take off his huge noctua heatsink and put on some new paste on the cpu when he's bored

There's no technological skill involved. All you have to do is read the fucking manual.

you're autistic desu senpai

Stop being a retard then and pretend the high markup on components is all fees for building, idiot.

>be a bullied fat kid raised by a single mom
>personality gets completely introverted
>my only friend is my PC
>build my own pc from age 10 and later become a software engineer
Stop blaming others for being dumb.

pcpartpicker.com/guide/2zj48d/entry-level-gaming-build
Better PC for cheaper on the entry build of the first google result.

i didn't get any fucking manual

i just bought parts off of amazon

I might be.
I'm thinking about buying sleeving tools so I can individually sleeve some psu cables and make them pretty for when I get a new PC.
I like fiddling with something in my hands when I'm watching a video or listening to a podcast or something.

That's what makes it even more retarded to not put together your own. I don't claim to be intelligent for doing it, a retard can do it. It actually annoyed me when everyone I know IRL (besides friends who built their own) were like "Wow, user built his own computer!"

Fucking a half a year after I built it, my uncle visits from across the country and says "So user, I heard you built your own computer!"

My dad was the only one with some sense and realized how trivial it was. When I mentioned "wiring" the computer, he said "It's not really wiring, right? It's just plugging a bunch of things in"

The parts come in a box which include a manual, user.
And even if you don't get one because you bought your hardware in some supicious junker alley you can find a manual online on every hardware manufacturer's website

>799 price tag.
You poor misrible fool. I could have built that for less. All in all it'll serve you well for a bit, but don't wxpwct high settings without having to overclock.

we were all retarded at some point
>want to delete command and conquer game because dad says it slows down computer
>use windows 98 search program
>search "command"
>delete every single file
>computer wont boot again
>"d-dad I think it has a virus"

>take off the fan and replace the cpu with a new one
>screw it back on
>it still comes off with a slight pull
>screw it on a bit harder
>still comes off with a pull
>screw it even harder
>something cracks
>let the IT do it

I feel so ashamed.

you fucking tricked your whole family into thinking you could build your computer from scratch, and i'm the retarded one? you can't even speak honestly to your on flesh and blood.

Since we have such a fine collection of know-hows in this thread, how about you guys tell me how to fix my second PC? I started it up yesterday and it shut down automatically after only a few seconds. I figured it was dust, so I cleaned it out a bit and rebooted it. Starting process got just past the password window before it shut down again. It's been stuck in this loop ever since.

Anyone got any idea how to fix it? Is it still dust or something else?

That was the joke, because he bought prebuilt.

>no gaming mouse
>no gaming keyboard
>no windows 10
fuck off

I have no idea how you took my post like that.

Got ya covered family
pcpartpicker.com/list/32ZPzM
Same price, twice as good. If you really also want a gaymen keyboard and mouse just remove the SSD and pick em.

Well since this seems to be the PC thread...
I want to get a super power efficient/performace PC. Would an i5 6400 and a GTX1050ti scale well?

This is where you have to start looking for the issue by isolating the problem.
Did you put on heatpaste?
Did you put on heatsink and cpu fan?

user, programming a videogame takes a lot of time, resources, manpower and know-how.

Building a computer takes wikihow and an hour.

Do you also pay someone to wipe your ass and butter your bread?

>no windows 10
cmon son, not even trying.

>Buying windows 10
user pls

Hope you got Geeksquadâ„¢ protection with your great value purchase!

Torrent it faggit, who buys windows. If you really want to buy like a moron you can get a key for 10 bucks on reseller sites.

Honestly, equipment in a highschool threater is more complicated. I built my first PC before highschool and i had more issues with soundboards and setting up lighting and sound rigs than i ever did with computers. Computers are simple and they got even easier with websites dedicated to making sure everything works together

Are you retarded? You can get it for free on their website. Just install it and tell them you don't have a product key.

>Did you put on heatpaste?
Didn't know such a thing existed until just now.
>Did you put on heatsink and cpu fan?
PC was built by someone else, but it has 6 fans, so I guess so?
