I like everything about Mike Inel's game, EXCEPT the combat.

It's too floaty, too spammy, and having enemies get invincibility just slows everything down. And fighting the worm at the beach? Twice? Terrible fight.

I've been following this game since the build where you could go above the cave to the tree (year? year and a half?) and I can't imagine anyone liking the combat.

The rest is golden though, and I like that he's letting the porn sneak back in after his patrons chased it away previously.

I take that back, I forgot there was the higher poly Marcy demos before that. I have been following the project since those. Shame he didn't keep those hi poly characters. Probably too hard to animate for him/his small team.

This game has its problems, specifically movement. Those forced platform segments are kind of a bitch the first time. Combat needs tweaking to make it smoother. Really hate having to end a combo and still need one hit on an enemy to kill it.

You realize you can jump cancel to have infinite combos, right?

You can dash right after finishing a combo and immediately start a new one.

I figured that out later, I just think the weaker enemies shouldn't really need that.

The 4D sword can teleport you to your target, so you can get an air combo after the normal combo knocks them back. Same thing almost works with normal dashing.
