If they really do a Switch port of this then the one thing I really want, far more than additional characters, is for them to bring the 3DS stages in.

More stages in general would be nice, because really that's where Smash 4 suffered the most at its core.

The problem with Smash Tour is that it's so fucking overly complicated. I think I played it once with my friends and we quickly came to the conclusion that there was way too much shit going on and that it wasn't very fun.

For fuck's sake, a simple Mario Party clone with minigames replaced with normal Smash matches would have been perfect.

That's just something one user said claiming he read the June Famitsu issue that had Sakurai say that and Sourcegaming missed it.
He was given links to contact Sourcegaming a few days ago so that they could make an article out of it but nothing has popped up since.

I don't have it right now but there's a poster for the anime where rowlet is alongside ash, pikachu and rotomdex, with a white outline around all of them. He is 100% getting rowlet.

Could have almost grown to like it if there wasn't a time limit in the final fight.
Fighting with all the fighters and stats you've collected sounds really neat in theory.

Shame it just doesn't work out like that and someone often end up having too many lives to be able to lose them all before the end.

The fact that they showed enhanced ports for both Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 but not Sm4sh leads me to believe they're not going to port that. Logically speaking anyway, they probably would have shown something like that alongside Splatoon and MK8. The fact that it exists on both 3DS and Wii U as well as the fact that Sakurai explicitly stated that new characters ended with the fan polling should probably tell you it's not going to happen.

And I'm not a denialfag, I'm just looking at this reasonably. Don't get your hopes up.

Anyone think a moveset based around setting up Mario obstacles to fight for you could work? It would definitely be unique, which is what Sakurai tends to stress when making newcomers.
