It's kind of short though, it took me around 3 hours to beat the game.

Oxenfree is so-so. It has a good premise and a promising game mechanic, but it never really uses either to its full potential. The pacing is bad too. The story is pretty good. Bought it at full price on release and now I wish I waited.

Lumino City is great. Probably the best game on the bundle. Great visuals, great storytelling through the environment, great music.

Haven't played the rest.

Anyone got any info or comparisons about the remasters? It seems like just about every remaster I've heard of is actually a downgrade in some way (Silent Hill, Bioshock, Batman, Skyrim etc) so I'm sort of cautious about them.

You cn actually see a bunch of visual errors that come from the filter like lines not matching up together

Thats also full of bugs that they haven't bothered to fix that aren't in the original

Supposedly it still has the same bugs from the original but I'm not entirely sure.

The last good Double Fine game was Costume Quest, which is a more appropriate game to play now than any of those.

Looks nice. That sucks if its still buggy; I remember I wasn't about to complete the game last time I tried to play it (this was a long time ago) because some bug related to CPU cycle speed or some such prevented me from climbing up that pipe at the bottom of the ocean.

If I'm not mistaken GF doesn't have a death sequence but the game still advises to save often, most likely to avoid having to replay big chunks of the game after a game crashing bug.

I pirated the remake to check if it was ok... and I binged the whole thing like a kid again

some of the best puzzles of the genre

i guess for someone who never played it it would be a good version to play. but for someone who did like me i found the remaster to be kinda lame. barely any special features and finishing the game once unlocks all the achievements and art.
