Nope. It's at beta now, they're releasing a new map. Matchmaking takes a minute or less on average usually. Characters get released every three weeks, announced at two. Naturally there are balancing issues, which is a bummer, but matches usually end up reasonably well balanced.

It's a moba, so unfortunately no plot, only gameplay. However it's the only actually enjoyable moba I played and that alone makes it worth checking out imo. They'll probably add some lore later, since now it's still in beta, but that's probably the closest we'll ever get to any "plot". Shame really, since designs and concepts are god tier.

If I never spent more than 30 minutes in a moba should I even bother? I wanted to give this genre another shot and the tps camera and visuals are nice however I never really played a moba outside of a game of bots.

It might get better later when they rework everything, but for now the only reasons you'd want to play it is because:
