If Nost comes back I have a 60 warlock with my epic mount and 300 engineering waiting for me so I hope it's true. I tried to play Legion and got bored after a month but my guild was shit and only got 4 mythic bosses down in EN before half the people quit playing.

you literally had to sit down and eat food after killing 2-3 mobs cause you only had 4000 hp and if you didnt have any food you had to wait about 2 minutes to get to full hp

and it was fucking fun because the world was comfy and you had your friends and the community.

The thrill of danger is what made it so fun. These days WoW makes sure you are safe and have no downtime. So fucking casual.

Most of the time you won't. The hardest hitting attack is Mortal strike which only does like 1000-1200 normally. That's pretty much your only go to move for burst damage. I take it you only ever watched youtube warrior clips.

No I played a warrior

Eventually you can 2 shot basic end game mobs which only had 2-3k HP, and the ones you'd actually wanted to farm had no armor, such as elementals and saytrs

Reminder that Blizzard Legacy servers will NEVER FUCKING HAPPEN and you must be completely delusional to think they'd ever do that and not change the hell out of Vanilla, for more profit.

They would add level 60 boosts, Shop full of micro-transactions, etc. Because it's literally free money for them, there is no way in hell they wouldn't do it.

The only hope is another good private server like Nost or maybe Crestfall.

Every new MMO is casualized and streamlined, and full of micro-transactions, None of them are worth playing, just wait until the Nostalrius announcement.

The reason you paid a sub fee when you played before was because they had a full team actively working on adding new content to the game.

The monthly fee was for that. Not for server costs.
If they do release legacy servers, they would without a doubt be streamlined and made a bit easier, probably cheaper mounts, lower level for mounts, and a cash shop with tons of cosmetic shit. They would make their money from that, not from sub costs.
The other option is they let you sub and play nu-WoW and the legacy servers, so people who only wanna play legacy would have to pay the sub for nu-WoW.

There's no proof of that. All they said is they'll "say something" after blizzcon. Don't get your hopes up

Honestly, I'd be fine with that, because none of those changes REALLY fuck with the fact I would go out on an adventure and complete quests and see what happens.

The thing keeping me out of WoW at this point is that I can't go back and see all these raids that the story was locked behind at the point in the game where it makes sense, because a bunch of dungeons have been cut out for revamps and you're not going to find enough level appropriate people to help you through them. WoW's issue is that you play current WoW, or no WoW at all, and that is a shitty stance to take.

This is what RuneScape does, but you bet your ass that every retail WoW player would throw an insane bitchfit over this saying that it takes money away from current resources.

Despite it being no different from throwing resources at any other aspect of the game that not everyone plays, be it mythics, pet battles, pvp or whatever

I don't know, i think Nu-WoW has gotten so bad that most people are on the legacy side.
I've seen huge threads about Nost on the official WoW forums, and most of the anti-blizzard, pro-legacy posts get the most upvotes, while the blizzdrone posts get downvoted.

They KNOW there's gonna be a content drought soon, even the blizzdrones say things now like "Well legacy servers would give me something to do during the upcoming year of no new content"

Warmane - Icecrown server, very populated, 7x experience gain rate so you can get level 80 very easily. Personally i got bored with it after a few weeks, but it was fun. The community is trash also it's Pay 2 win.

Not icecrown, blackrock, not much populated nowadays it used to be frequented by the top wotlk pvp'ers in years past but now it's kinda dead, still enough to play some 2s/3s, loads of duels BGs pop up often enough, mainly WSG.

Lordaeron is better because there's no p2w

Easier leveling would heavily effect the game.
All those casual scrubs during vanilla WoW usually gave up on the game, or it took them literally a year to get to level 60. I knew a kid who was so lazy he never hit level 60 even after playing for a year. He just did low level battlegrounds, i think the highest he got was lvl 50. If you casualize the game, you end up with a shitty community because the shitters all level up quickly and stick around.

I truly don't comprehend how any of you were clinging to this decade old game it's over you'll never have the same experience again the game itself is actually nothing to write home about and the only thing that was good about Warcraft was the sheer volume of players

I think if people took a hard look at what WoW looked like in 2004, without adding ANY of the conveniences after patch 1.12, they would probably play once for nostalgia and quit. Think about vanilla for a sec:

>Warlocks farmed shards for 2-4 hours before the raid
>Rogues made poisons
>You had to train in new weapons and level your weapon and unarmed skills
>Reagents
>5 minute buffs (instead of 60)
>No such thing as food buffs
>Horde loses paladins
>Alliance loses shamans
>Limited race/class combos
>16 slot bags
>Mounted speed with the carrot and spurs only 120%. No flying ever.
>Summoning stones and Warlocks only - no LFD, LFR
>No more flex/mythic raiding
>no rep tabards
>1 bank/mailbox/ah in SW and Org
>remove 70% of flight paths
>most holiday bosses removed
>paladins and locks have to quest for class mounts at 40
>60% speed at lvl 40 and 100% speed at lvl 60. Walking for the first 40 levels
>No such things as heirlooms
>no transmog
>Nothing is account wide
>Achievement system removed
>Gearscore comes back

and the list goes on and on. Have people really thought about the limitations, and changes of reversion involved with a classic server? No AoE loot, nothing glows, no dungeon journal, raids require you to be in a raid, no more soloing content... etc. People will get what they wish for... and then leave.

Nobody is saying that every single new convenience feature after 1.12 is automatically bad. Just that with the patches, major shit got changed that felt like for the worse, and the smaller positives don't justify it.
