If your desk is clean try visceral clean up.

Coop if you want, but its pretty chill to just clean alone.

They have gangbangs in that game?

store.steampowered.com/app/361990/
yeah; it is in the vibe of teenager horror movies

Apparently it has a bade case of wasted potential but it's still pretty fun as is

Grab a few mods and you're set

>dropping troops onto an enemy bunker in drop crates
>taking out dropship thrusters with RPGs and having them spin out into the group of enemies it just set down
>going all out and straight up flying your transport rocket directly into an enemy position and decimating everything it hits

so good

>mixels
>rixels
>dixels

>dickxels

>People who complain about this never saw Mode 7 in a SNES.

...

If you're into camp, this might be for you.

I think it's available in the 3DS eShop. It's fun as fuck.

This too.

I was literaly about to do a thread like this.

# weeks ago i'v found this game and it is awesome.

In the end of the year i plan on going on another game hunt to find me some gens.

What games do you guys recommend me for the PS2, PS3, PS Vita and an average notebook.

forgot pic, also 3 weeks ago.

>If you're into loading screens, this might be for you
Fix'd

Well, it's a bit over one dollar right now, so what do you have to lose?

Use your BA-ZOO-KAAAA.

Darkness was a great game if you could overlook some questionable designs. Really my biggest thing is the fucking plodding walking speed Jackie has. Jesus.

...

...

>2$
Might pick it up

Excellent game, shame about how the sequel looks.

That game had some weird models.

youtube.com/watch?v=Vqepk452aj8

it is fucking good

...

holy shit, naked muppets?

I get mad as fuck playing this

and that is because I suck really bad at it
the controls are too sensitive for my shitty reflexes

Yeah, no running button was kinda ass but i didnt get lost often in the game aside maybe for those hitman mission.

>still playing the soundtrack, to this very day

Yeah, the art\animations look off

I will shill this game until the day I die

anybody wanna trade battle block theater for this game? I have no money in my wallet rn

What's the best episode?

What the fuck am I even looking at?

This looks like one of those fake games you see inside of other games.

iv

rock band out of gas
you arrive at a mansion in the woods

store.steampowered.com/app/113020/

one of the best MP games of all the time

>running this back in whatever the fuck it was still in beta
>playing multiplayer in the same keyboard, blocking keys left to right
>infinite rotating maps
>put two rockets accelerating in opposite directions, almost reaching light speed
>crash
>debris all over both bases

shit was amazing

I like the one with the house of cannibals that has the gimp fucking the old man in a room full of chickens.

still trying to finish that level

the fucking rats always fuck me up

Yeah they've fucked up many of my attempts. If you get through without tripping the alarm they won't appear. There's also a rat mask sometimes that makes them not hurt you.

Expeditions Conquistador; really good tactical rpg with tons of replayability, semi random quests that branch off or come up as a result of who you have in your party

Element4l; cute comfy atmospheric fast paced platformer that's surprisingly challenging

Apotheon; Metroidvania with the art style of grecian pottery art

Distance; Horror racing game, the genre mix alone sort of justifies it, but it's also very good and is FAST

Freedom Planet; Sort of well known, but not as much as it should be. It's basically what Shovel knight was to mega man and NES/SNES games but to Sonic, Gunstar Heros, rocket knight, and other Sega Gensisis games. Cringy story (though I still reccomend not skipping the cutscenes) but insanely well designed in almost every other regard.

ty for the advice
I have basically nailed different sections of the level
but I have not nailed every section in a single run

pretty fun game; I love the details and lore

fuck I should replay monaco

I'm reading the latest reviews, and it is a shame

the community is dead, and the novice try to rush the game instead of stealth, then they get killed, and its over in 1 hour. review: bad game

It's sort of well known on Sup Forums, but not outside of it.

It's essentially what if you applied the sort of narrative heavy/gameplay light game design approach that telltale or david cage games have, but instead of having that narrative be melodrama and forced feels, it's stupid over the top action anime bullshit.

That's not to say it doesn't have proper gameplay, it does, of the 18 missions in the base game, you usually have a solid 15-20 minutes of actual gameplay in them, but wheras in other games, the gameplay is the meat, and the cutscenes are just extra, in Asura's Wrath, the cutscenes and QTE's are what you end up looking fowards to, and the gameplay is buildup for it

Also, like, it's clearly trying to be an interactive anime. The missions are called episodes, they have bumpers in the middle like commercial breaks, there are "next time on" previews, and each episode has opening and ending credits like an actual anime episode. So it's clearly what they were going for all along.

I realize that may not sound appealing to people, but the sheer ludicrousness of the shit that happens and how well animated it is, how strong the visual design and music score is, and how well voice acted all the characters means that those cutscens and QTE's are legimately balls to the walls fun, some of the most fun i've had with video games, even if I was watching more then I was playing. In any case, the main part 4 DLC is basically mandatory, since it extends the main plot and has some of the coolest things i'ver ever seen in a game.

Also, precisely because it's more of an interactive anime then a strict game, and since the actual gameplay is probably the most eh part of it, you really can just watch the whole thing on youtube and more or less treat it as an actual anime entire

If you do decide to play it rather then watch it on youtube, try to get the 360 version, since the ps3 version has screen tearing issues

There were some gems hidden here

That ending.

Silent Hill 4 the Room: the most criminally underrated game from 2004

Depends: Painkiller came out the same year, is that still considered underrated?

It's an Adult Swim game, so it was almost guaranteed to have some level of quality control, but this is actually pretty fun. Gunplay feels nice, it's decently challenging, stealth is viable, and the humor has more hits than memes.

This game is fucking radical, fuck anyone who says it isn't.

Obvious technical issues aside, it's crazy fun.

>exploding something so hard debris rocket around the planet/map and fucking blow your head off

perfect

What I mean is its in one of the most revered series of games ever, but it's so underrated when it's the best one
At least in my opinion

...

Here's one I enjoy. Its 4X game strategy game like Civilization or Gal Civ and its not a particularly amazing one; but if you're a Star Trek nerd its great because of all the elements it incorporates from the TV series. You can play as the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, or Ferengi (or the Dominion in place of the Ferengi with mods) and there are a couple dozen minor races for you to interact with from Andorians to Zakdorn.

If you're interested here's a link for a free download for the base game.

armadafleetcommand.com/get-files?cw_action=fileview&file_id=62

and here's a nifty mod I recommend that adds the Dominion and gets rid of some of the clunkier, grindy elements of the original game.

armadafleetcommand.com/onscreen/botf/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=2692

>the best one
I dunno, all that backtracking and all those gray goddamned corridors kinda killed it for me. The hours-long escort mission really burned me out.

...

this game is great, very hard to find enjoyable challenging turn based tactics games since its such a small niche

the backtracking isn't really that bad, functionally it's the same as in the other SH games where you'll have the fog version of an area, and then the nightmare version. just instead of doing them back-to-back, you do every normal level followed by every nightmare level.

I fucking loved this game. It was an amazing blend of game and anime.

I really hope some day Capcom revisit it.

>90% of the games in this thread
>damn this looks cool
>go to buy it on steam
>you already own this item

what the fuck is wrong with me?

Watch this video
It explains the brilliance of the game
youtu.be/eaPNuBK4UNM

Not that user, but the other Silent Hill games managed to be frightening without the gameplay irritations of SH4. Don't get me wrong, as a series junkie I like The Room, but it has some pretty serious issues.
Issues that can be justified, mind you, considering it's rushed development cycle.

There are bugs all over the game (no pun), but it is surprisingly nice. The section where you hypnotize a servant beetle to kill a guy is fucking amazing.
There should be more Dink Smallwood-like games.

The gameplay is such a small part of the game, the overarching story and uneasy feelings it gives you are top notch to this day it's my favorite horror story in a video game

>The gameplay is such a small part of the game
>of the game.
I like SH4 as well, the story is captivating, but come on now. it doesn't deliver the narrative and atmosphere through the gameplay quite as well as the prior three.

It kind of does
That it's a slog
The only safe haven is the room
Everywhere else is unbearable, in terms of atmosphere, level design and combat
But soon enough the room starts to get haunted

Couple of tips;
Go in/out doors when people are turned around to attaxk safely
If you drop in the pit you can hit the corpse of the woman to get the key that lets you out
Try and get the mask before tripping alarms
Don't bother too much with the shotgun chickens and dead bodies work just fine
Try and get the slaughterhouse gas last
Piggsy moves on a set path, let him do a few cycles first then go in doors he's not chopped down or walk behind him

...

It also forces you into combat more than the prior game, making enemy encounters more of a nuisance than anything, and having another character around hampers the sense of loneliness and isolation the first half nailed. Keep in mind I said "[not] quite as well as the prior three", not that it did it poorly.

Did you even watch the video

did she died? This webm made me sad for some reason.

>The game is great, just watch this video that explains to you why it's so good even when you played it and didn't like it

fuck off

>If you drop in the pit you can hit the corpse of the woman to get the key that lets you out
that one will sure help me, didn't knew that

my current approach:
1 try to advance thru the mansion until I can't (alarm wire/whatever)
2 slaughterhouse, lure piggsy outside, and get into the van to dodge him
3 comeback for the slaughterhouse gas
4 back to mansion from the piggsy room

and from there, hell breaks loose... lots of weird and really fun stuff... I have found a room with a chainsaw, really handy

what I love about it is the lack of linearity, the random elements, and how crazy the game could get

good stuff

More like watch the video that explains why it's great despite the clunky combat and bad level design

It never got a US release so I guess it went by mostly unnoticed.

that's fucking retarded dude. It's okay if you like a game that isn't the greatest, lots of people don't like SH4 and it's ok that you do.

All I'm saying is it isn't a game that's played to have fun
Some of the best movies aren't fun to watch
In fact some of the best are intense, scary, sad, etc to watch. Everything but fun

Hard to believe that this is one of the first stealth-horror games. It's even harder to believe that it's got more strategy and enemy variety than Haunting Ground and Penumbra combined.

Not all games need to be fun to play. However, they have to be ENTERTAINING. Silent Hill 4 is a game you have to FORCE yourself to play, and that's absolutely not a good thing. It's not a good thing in a "oh man this game is so tense and scary" way, but a "oh god how much longer do I have to play this, I just want to finish off the plot because I'm already halfway through" way.

There's a damn good reason everybody praises Drakengard, but almost anyone who actually enjoys the series tells you not to play the actual games.

I think anyone playing the SH series agrees with you, but SH4 I think is especially not fun. And the stories of SH games are really not all that great, despite what fans may roar.

SH2 is as good as it will get because the lore involving SH, SH3 and SH4 (and any others) makes those stories muddled with details and boring implications. SH is best enjoyed as a surreal art exhibit you wonder around in and shoot dogs with the exception of SH2 which is good on its own and for its simple story's strengths.

>1001 spikes

I love this game
it is a platforming hell, to the point of using 2 different height jump buttons

at first they promoted the game as that, and then, they started putting in meme shit and MP tourney modes to try to lure twitchers....

the core game is still there, the single player campaign is absolutely torture

bonus tip: use a digital pad

It's probably because all the enemies are fleshed out characters that you need to learn about in order to achieve your goals, the others are just "hide from this guy until they are gone"

Personally for me I liked how horrible it felt to play the game. It helped me experience some of the pain Henry experienced. And to me it was worth it.

I have this game, completed it like a year ago. It's actually quite creepy.

shit I remember this
MAYBE LATER

Yeah I was right there with Henry when I had to fight four dogs with a pipe and I sprint past and through ghosts that were completely insignificant. Right there, with my bro Henry and his """""""""pain""""""".

>fuck, that took a while but i finally complet-
>Antarctica
>mfw it's on, motherfucker
>all that fucking great music
>each character has different music

100% it on pc and vita, fucking great beside a level or two that can go fuck off

Lots of underaged lets players try and make videos on this game because it's free and then get made when they suck and quit. It's great.

I was about to finish the game, and I came here to hype about it
one user told me that I had not seeing anything....
then the snow appeared....

I love it, and I think I will never see a sequel, because it was not very succesfull

I remember when it was bundled on tier 1, and people in the threads were saying that it was a shitty 8bit meme indie trash...

sad

Too bad there's never anyone hosting games

She's pretty cute.

The Swapper is excellent! It is a pretty spooky and challenging puzzle game. I think if you liked some themes being talked about in Frictional Games' SOMA last year that you would probably dig The Swapper.

I would suggest checking out Thumper. It just came out and it is a very brutal game.

There is literally nothing wrong with homer simpson

oh this is the game that the Giant Bomb guys played on VR during the infamous stream

If Data Realms could get their shit together and remake Cortex Command, it would be fucking amazing. A decent UI and multiplayer compatibility would go a long way.

too bad about it being a rhythm game.

Just not your kind of game? Don't see why that's too bad.

I found a PS1, PS2 and PS3 together for $70 at a thrift store today so I have nothing for them.
Give me some hidden gems OR IM GONNA GO GUNS BLAZING

should try battle for wesnoth

some stories can be hard, others easy, since its designed for people to make their own ****
