Been playing it nonstop for the past couple of days and I love it. I miss some stuff like making your own titan loadouts but I think for balance purposes we're better off how it is now. I bought Titanfall 1 and this one because I just enjoy the gameplay but I know it's gonna be dead in like 4-6 months tops because Origin is just that fucking shit and no one wants to use it.
I don't play shooters on consoles. I guess I should've bought it for PS4 if I wanted to play it on something that'd have a community a year from now but oh well.
Titanfall 2 looks and feels mostly like Call of Duty. I think everyone's sick of COD.

Allegedly Origin is getting DDOS'd. Nobody is able to log in to play.
Anecdotally, I'm unable to log in to Origin right now. I was playing two hours ago and PC showed about 18000 people at its peak and climbing when I was looking.

Favorite is Northstar honestly. Get the extra dash and keep baiting people around corners into a charge shot. easiest titan to kill pilots with too. Core is soso though. Also the titan traps are a fun little tool
I'd say those three map packs helped, but the community was already dead and buried in that case.

Not really. The game is way too fast to be played on a controller. Sure, you can do it, but it feels like a completely different game than on PC. A lot of weapons are much harder to use, and it's just a struggle to make quick movements when you need it, which is quite often in this game.

I almost didn't have my evening fap tonight because I was having so much fun playing Titanfall 2. I was thinking about getting BF1, but Giant Bomb's review really sold me on Titanfall, and honestly, I'm glad it did. It's a big improvement over the first game; the combat feels better, traversal is easier and feels better, and it just feels great to kill shit. The impact sounds are so satisfying. It's such a fun game, and it really is a shame it released between what will be the two biggest shooters of the year. This is more than likely a superior game to both BF1 and CoD, and it's probably going to get left in their dust.
Ah well, maybe it'll get a bump in players in the spring when all the kids are sick of their other games.
