Budokai 3
Infinite World
Dragon ball bukkake
Legacy of Goku.
Tenkaichi 3, then Xenoverse 2 is growing on me. But I'm getting tired of replaying the story missions over and over each time I create a character.
That one RPG for the SNES/SFC released exclusively in Japan that pretty much followed the manga plot.
The Super Arcade game.
...
Budokai 3 is the best but each of the previous two also had special things about them 3 just didn't have.
The best is Budokai Tenkaichi 3
So Budokai Tenkaichi 3
You posted it
Oddly enough, the need to go through the story withs each create-a-character doesn't bother me nearly as much as character unlocks not being universal between CaCs.
I'm liking Xenoverse 2. It did a good job of making most of the specials feel both impactful and special.
>tfw sequel never
Shin Budokai Another Road
Buu's Fury and the LoG games.
Don't like the 3D fighting ones.
This is actually the best dragonball game. Prove me wrong. You can't.
Super Butoden 2
Budokai 3 was what made me get a ps2. My and me friends played the hell outta that game. The soundtrack was absolutely based and the roster was terrific. I dislike the tenkaichi like dbz games that have came out since then.
Has some of the best cover art.
Ironically, for whats considered the best DBZ game, BT3 had shit cover art. It looked "okay," but if it was drawn in the 90's style it would've been 100x better.
>Cell as a Z-Fighter
>16 still alive
>17 actually around
What game is this, what the hell is this ending and how can I get it?
Nevermind, I found it. dragonball.wikia.com
Tenkaichi 3; I like my Dragon Ball gameplay more like a DB fight.
This game was a breath of fresh air.
>Tenkaichi series and all subsequent games in that style
>gameplay
I thought the same as you until I actually tried Infinite World ( a game I missed because I played Burst Limit instead) and it's basically Budokai 3 except with the bad parts taken out. It does feel a little souless but it is better gameplay wise. Sorta similar to how Dimps also did it with Xenoverse 1 -> Xenoverse 2
>Cell becomes friends with Goku after he shows friendship towards him
No. Just Tenkaichi 3.
I think after it they fucked up on purpose.
My favorite is tied between Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Attack of the Saiyans.
im guessing infinite world came out near the end of ps2s time? i literally didnt even know the game existed before i saw a random youtube video of it like 3 years ago. from what i saw it looked like alot of good improvements to budokai 3. i know i woulda loved to play it.
Same time as Burst Limit, late 2008.
Chrono Trigger
If burst limit had an even halfway complete roster that would be by far because of how good the fighting was in it. But since that was so horribly lacking budokai 3 is.
Budokai 3 (I hear IW is better but I've never played it) and Advanced Adventure. The latter is a little repetitive, but the sprites are charming and the game keeps a quick pace. Ultimate Butouden for the DS is great, too.
I don't get the wank over LoG II. It's kind of dull.
Budokai 3 is my favorite of the trilogy, and of all the Dragon Ball games in recent memory, I probably like Xenoverse 2 the best. Granted a large part of that is the novelity of playing as your own custom character, but the sequel really did improve upon the original in just about every way.
Budokai 3 was amazing, particularly the gigantic story mode full of secrets and unlockables.
